Chapter 2: Questions

Suspect no. 2

Park Jimin is one of the suspects for Taehyung. He is one of the well-known independent younger CEO. However, he is also known for having numerous affairs, allegedly. It's still a rumor because no one has proven it yet. He is flirty, and it showed a lot, even in public. Furthermore, there are rumors that if he dislikes girls, he kills them.

“Oi, Detective Kim!”

That voice is owned by only Park Jimin, who is now walking in front of Taehyung.

“It's been quite a while since I saw you, are you here to visit me?” Jimin smirked.

“This is not your company, so I don't have a reason to visit you. Since you're here, I want to ask where are you between 11 – 11:15 pm?” Taehyung asked, taking his note.

“Seriously, you always thought I'm suspect. I'm not a criminal, you know.” Jimin said, pushing his hair to the back.

“But you do look like one.” Taehyung retorted.

“What? That hurts my feelings.” Jimin dramatically replied.

“He's not wrong, though, you do look like a criminal.”

A voice behind Jimin speak, they looked behind him and saw suspect no. 3.

Min Yoongi also known as Suga

His success is still unknown to the public. No one knows why he became a CEO, even though he is only popular as a producer and composing music. Well, the company he owns is still related to the music industry, but his background is still a mystery.

“You're one to talk as if you're not mysterious yourself. Why don't you investigate him, Detective Kim? Everything about him is suspicious, he might be that serial killer.” Jimin pointed out Yoongi.

“I don't kill, except if you are the victim, I will surely do that.” Yoongi threateningly mocked him.

“Did you hear that, Detective Kim? He's eligible for killing, he threatened me.” Jimin hides behind Taehyung.

“If you are going to ask me where am I during that time, I'm composing music, you can go to my studio for my CCTV record if you like.” Yoongi stated, looking at Taehyung.

“He's surely lying, Detective Kim, you should investigate him more.” Jimin snickered.

“How about you, Mr. Park?” Taehyung moves away from Jimin.

“I'm in the club having fun.” Jimin replied.

“That's always your reason.” Taehyung glared at him.

“Because that's true, I have nothing to do.” Jimin shrugged off his shoulder.

“Where's your proof, then?” Taehyung inquired.

“We can go together to that club if it pleases you.” Jimin winked at him.

“I have no time for your flirt.” Taehyung tsked and walked away from them.

“You're no fun, Detective Kim. We will surely have fun together!” Jimin attempted to flirt with Taehyung.

“Better luck next time, dude.” Yoongi patted Jimin's shoulder before going away from him.

“You ruined my moment, that's my chance.” Jimin rolled his eyes and pushed his hair to the back.

“You're a midget, there's no way he will like you.” Yoongi retorted without turning any glance to Jimin.

“Wow, as if you're taller than me, minions!” Jimin shot back.

But Yoongi went out of the company, leaving a pissed Jimin.

Meanwhile, Taehyung waited for the elevator. Once it opens, he saw Hoseok inside the elevator.

“Detective Kim” Hoseok greeted with a smile on his lips.

Suspect no. 4

Jung Hoseok

He likes getting involved with different crimes for some unbeknownst reason. But the thing is, he doesn't have any criminal record. He is the kind of weird person who likes negative attention. Also, no one can deny he is also a good-looking person, so it's not surprising why people love him so much. He is an artist under Avarice Entertainment also owned by Jeon Jungkook.

“You're here” Taehyung uttered looking at him.

“Right, CEO called me for some serious meetings.” Hoseok replied.

“I'm pretty sure you met them as well.” Taehyung said, referring to Jimin and Yoongi.

“You're right, they were here earlier to attend the meetings about CEOs only.” Hoseok responded, walking out of the elevator.

“Okay” Taehyung mumbled.

Taehyung and Jihoon went inside the elevator.

“You're not going to investigate me or what?” Hoseok asked, looking at him.

“I don't need to, I'm sure you'll say nonsense again.” Taehyung tapped the number on the floor.

“Are you sure about that, Detective Kim? What if I'm the suspect that you've been looking for?”

Before the elevator got close, Hoseok stopped it with his hands. Jihoon found him peculiar because why would he admit to something serious crimes?

“If you are, what's your motive, then? Do you have any motive to do such gruesome crimes?” Taehyung asked, looking at Hoseok, straight into his eyes.

“Aish, why it's not so easy to trick you, Detective Kim? I thought you'll be an easy target for my prank, but I guess that will be a hard time for me.” Hoseok giggled, putting his hands into his pocket.

“Stop your bullshit pranks, I don't have time to play with you, Jung Hoseok.” Taehyung glared at him.

“But it's fun to play with you, Detective Kim. Don't worry, you will fall into my trap.” Hoseok grinned.

“Then try it, if you fail once again, I will arrest you.” Taehyung said with his deep voice enough to make Jihoon shiver in his tone.

“Sure, Detective Kim, I will try my best to catch you as my prey. The tiger in my den.” Hoseok smirked.

But the elevator got closed, and Jihoon looked at Taehyung, who just poke his tongue in his inner cheeks. He moves a little far from Taehyung and swallowed hard.

Once the elevator opened, it seems they are now on Jeon Jungkook's office floor. Taehyung went out of the elevator while Jihoon tried to control his nervousness. He breathes heavily before following Taehyung outside.

The secretary bowed when she saw Taehyung.

“He's inside, Detective Kim.” Maria said, smiling softly at him.

Taehyung didn't respond but instead opened the door of the office. And then there he saw the primary suspect in his list.
