Crimson Crystal (poem)
Notes:
I remembered that I wrote this poem I was extremely proud of in the Creative Writing club, it's not from the seminar activity. The reason I'm proud is that for the first time ever, I wrote a traditional poem where it does rhyme, I don't know if you noticed but most of my poems are always written in free verse so consider this poem to be the first that rhymes.
Also note, this poem is related to a short story I've written a long time ago about a woman who journeys to 'defeat' her mad husband with a crystal she was given. And this poem is focusing on the villain's POV (aka her husband).
I have nothing else to say but enjoy!
~~~
He had enough
So he went and sought
For power and revenge
Found a spirit in a crystal
Before the spirit obeyed this mortal
It ordered him to rid his merit
He complied
By ridding his eye
That saw light
Condition met, the spirit unleashed slaughter
Dream coming true, the man unleashed his maddening laughter
