Its been two years since Star left. There was only monsters the a week after Star left. They thought she was still here, until they picked up the hint.

Star said she would be back soon, but its been two years. I don't think she's ever coming back. It's like my life was actually interesting, until she left and I realized the dull life I was living.

"Happy birthday, Marco! There is a special girl in the guest room! A exchange student!" My mom yelled up the stairs. Yeah, its my sixteenth birthday. I'm having a party next weekend.

I grabbed my black hoodie, black jeans, and black shoes. Yeah, black. I'm too old for red. I walked slowly down the hall with my hood up. I stood in front of Star's old room. Was I really ready for a new friend just to leave me in a year? I sucked up all my bravery and opened the door. There was someone sitting on Star's old bed. She was facing the other direction.

"Hi, I'm Marco." I said meekly.

She turned around and my heart stopped. She got up and ran towards me. She hugged me in the tightest hug.

"Marco! It's so good to see you!" She said.

I felt tears come from my eyes. "Star. I've missed you."

She pulled off my hood. "I've missed you, too!" Star cried. She let go and examined me. "No more red? I thought that was your thing."

"It was. But I'm too old for red. I'm into black now."

I looked at her. Her hair was now very short, but a little curly. She was wearing a red headband, without the horns. She was wearing her signature baby blue dress with a rainbow front and sparkly, baby blue flat shoes. She also was wearing white stockings. I also noticed that her wings grew bigger. They were still small, but not as small. She actually looked like an adult and I looked like a kid. That's weird.

"Wow. You've changed." I said in awe.

"You too." She giggled and gave a bright smile. Her smile made me blush.

"Come on, let's get some nachos" I offered.

"Let's go!" She agreed.

I bowed. "Rights this way, my lady."

She giggled. "Thank you , Sir Marco of Earth."

Her giggle made me blush again. We walked out.
