Chapter 34
The elevator opened to a giant gold door in front of us.
"Welcome to the tip of the palace. Enjoy the rest of your day on Mewni. Have a magical day." The elevator said.
"Um, thanks." I said uncomfortably.
"Come on. We need to get Star to her bed." Janna pushed the door opened.
The room was huge, like it was two times the size of my house. The walls were white with blue swirls. At the furthest wall there was a huge window with a blue window seat. You could see all of Mewni from there. A couple feet away was a huge dresser. It was white with blue knobs. On the top sat different crowns and tiaras.
Falling from the ceiling was golden stardust. A crystal chandelier was also hanging from the ceiling.
A giant door with two hearts on was taking up one wall. I wonder what that's for.
Tapestry's were hung all over. Each had a different symbol and color. One had a club, one, had a clover, and one had a diamond. The newest looking one had a heart. And believe me, there were more than listed. And believe me, there were more things in the room than described.
I brought Star to a huge bed. It had a silver frame with a crown and a bed spread colored white with silver and blue swirls. I put her down.
"I'll get a doctor to look at her." Janna announced.
"Good call." I said, not taking my eyes off Star.
"See ya!" Janna waved. "Maybe I can get some of that rainbow tea on the way down." Janna said to herself as she left
Star's eyes started to open. "Marco? What happened? Did we win?" Star asked drowsily.
"Well, you kind of vaporized all the monsters in that battle, so I could say we won. You fainted after that and fell from the sky like a comet. You okay?"
"Don't worry. I'll be fine." She yawned.
"Why did you faint?" I asked.
"Let's just say ,that spell wasn't the nicest spell. It's kinda draining." She sat up.
"But your usual spells don't drain you. Why did this?"
"I rather not answer that." She said.
"So what are you going to do after? Are you going to marry Tom?" I asked.
"Do I have a choice? There is no one else. And can I tell you, Tom was forced into this, too. He's not happy about it." She stood up.
"Wait, what? Tom wanted to be with you really bad!" I said surprised.
"He is still a nice guy, Marco. He might seem jerky, he actually just wants me happy. After his mother's death, he changed a little, bit inside he is still the same nice guy. You just fail to see it, I did to when I was fourteen, but I learned." She stared out the window.
"What if I say I think I know what to do about the marriage thing."
"You do?" She turned around.
"I haven't thought about it all the way, but maybe I could—"
"I came as fast as I could! Queen Butterfly, can you let me examine you." The doctor stormed in.
"We'll finish this later." Star said to me.
