《Rovena》Beneath The Surface

Title: ( 10/10)
On point. It gives the ultimate standpoint of what the reader is to expect and I thought it shot straight to the heart. Very well done with that.

Cover: (10/10)
Your Graphic designer has some amazing skills because the cover has everything I'm looking for. When I look into it I see the soul of the book and that says something. A round of applause for a heartfelt cover. It is beyond amazing.

Blurb: ( 10/10)
Not long, not short. You dared to give the real gist of the story without adding unnecessary facts or omitting the necessary assets. A planned blurb I would say.

Opening Chapter: ( 9.5/10)
You had to break my heart right from the start didn't you? The prologue was quite short but you gave a gist or more like a sneak peak to his background and that was well done. The conflict from the start is definitely a green flag considering how you've gone about it. I'm impressed and what was worth was his determination to smile regardless of the outburst. Perfect.

Plot: ( 9/10)
That was whirlwind of emotions, thoughts and a hectic lifestyle like the cherry on top. You knew how to explore and you did it well. You would rummage around the corners and mingle there it's a really rare talent which you obviously got. The little things that make a difference are what I look for and I found it in your plot. It's not fast paced nor slow, it's just right. You know the type of book you would read over your coffee while it rains outside, a little bit of home because of the problems and trauma but with a bit of a fantasy for our lives are not as simple. Love it, just the balance of sweet and sour. The manner in which you contrast thoughts nonchalantly to bring up the spice.

Character Development: ( 8. 5/10)
Norman is quite the character when I read the prologue I was thinking of someone more submissive or rather someone who is always looking down, not making eye contact but he has his own grip and that's great. But I tell you even I was a tad bit scared at his miserable attempts at a text. Also, when he thought about this girl it was obvious how his pst had changed him into being as pathetic as this. Beatrice on the other hand is typical but at the same time has her own way of putting things together and doing them. I found her quite brave for a woman who was in her position and I admire it.

Content: ( 9/10)
Well done, the chapters were longer and you had descriptions of thoughts and feelings and even occurings. Some seem to refuse describing and you seem to do a lot of it and it's worth it.

Writing style: ( 9/10)
Flows really well. Sufficient words and phrases. Dialogues are balanced and you keep the reader some bits of information for them to figure out which I thought was amazing. Constant considerations in the mind is also an added value to your book.

Grammar and vocabulary: ( 9.5/10)
Nothing mich to say other than the fact that you have written well and not stopped yourself for you have let your mind wander, this is rare and strking.

Overall impression: ( 4.5/5)
Im more than impressed at your work. As I said earlier it's a good book to read with your coffee. The way it revolves psychologically is wonderful. Writers do not wish to got to such depths due to different reasons but you have stumbled yourself on the path and it's good.

Interaction with the readers: (2 /5)
You rarely comment. Know that you need to at least comment for one from one person in the least because you are an author because of them. Good luck.

Total: 81/100
