BORN TO MAKE HISTORY

Jungkook was laughing, a bright sound that almost lit up the entire outside ice skating rink. Even though Taehyung's cheek was sticking to the ice and his body was a bit hurt by the fall, he couldn't help but smile. He had set one foot onto the ice and slipped, Jungkook being too slow to catch him. "Help me up please", he mumbled, sticking out an arm.

The youngest chuckled before nodding his head, reaching out his hand as well so he could pull the other up. He clutched the side of the skating rink to hold himself upright, before pulling the other up. "I have never seen someone fall that dramatically ever before", Jungkook grinned when the boy finally stood back on his two feet.

Taehyung huffed as he patted the snow off his pants, his jeans now soaked and cold. "Shut up", he murmured, ready to push the younger down if he dared laughing again. "Let's skate".

"You sure you can?", Jungkook was still grinning, his eyes catching the older's glare, "Come on you baby". He grabbed Taehyung's gloved hand and tugged him along, the older letting out a surprised shriek at the sudden motion. His legs wobbled as Jungkook pulled him with him.

"You're too slow", Jungkook complained, hearing the older's complaints about him being too fast. Taehyung resembled a baby deer trying to walk for the very first time. Jungkook snickered and released his hand.

This frightened Taehyung even more since now he had nothing to hold onto. As he glanced up from his wobbly feet to the younger to complain about letting him go, his eyes widened. Jungkook was skating away at a fast pace before jumping up, doing a turn, before landing backwards onto his other skate.

Taehyung's mouth fell open at that. He noticed some other people staring at Jungkook as well, the boy now skating back to him, a bright smile on his lips. "I still got it", he said as he grabbed both of Taehyung's hands and started skating backwards, pulling the older forward. "How- Where did you learn that?", the older boy asked, his facial expression still one of shock.

"I did some ice skating when I was younger. That thing I just did is called an Axel", Jungkook explained, his movements smooth as he pulled a swaying Taehyung with him, remaining eye contact the whole time, "I thought of becoming a figure skater before people started telling me not to, since it'd be too gay. So I did ice hockey for a few years until I discovered baseball".

"It looked so cool", Taehyung blurted out, his eyes almost starry like as he stared at Jungkook, making the younger boy chuckle. "Do it again please".

Jungkook rolled his eyes but complied. There weren't many people on the ice that day, leaving a lot of open space for him to practice on. He released Taehyung's hands and turned around, beginning to gain some speed. As he skated, he got another idea. He turned around, skating backwards this time, his gaze meeting Taehyung's confused one.

He did a double spin and landed back on his feet, again backwards this time. Some people he passed by started clapping, making his smile grow even bigger and his cheeks redden. "How can you do all that when I can barely stand on my two feet on the ice?", Taehyung gaped, pointing at the nearing Jungkook.

"Practice. Lots of practice and lots of bruises", the younger chuckled, "Do you want to skate around some more?"

"I think I'm going to sit down for a while? My feet are hurting already", Taehyung pointed back to the bench outside the skating rink, "But you can go on. I'll watch you from the side line".

Jungkook nodded before seeing Taehyung off, the boy clambering off the ice and finding a spot on a comfortable bench. The older loosened his skates, sighing in relief when some of the pressure on his feet was relieved. He smiled when he saw how determined Jungkook looked when he glided along the ice. The boy seemed to really be enjoying himself.

"Your boyfriend is really good, isn't he?"

Taehyung got startled as the stranger next to him on the bench spoke up. The older man was watching Jungkook as well, both of his forearms leaning on his walking cane. "Is he a figure skater?"

It was now that Taehyung finally seemed to realize that the man was talking to him. "Uh no, he used to be", he responded, unable to process that this man thought Jungkook was his boyfriend.

"You better keep him", the man spoke, eyes going up and down together with Jungkook's jump, "People with a passion are hard to meet these days".

Taehyung gulped, gaze sliding back to his friend who sent him a small wave when he skated by. "We're not- well- he isn't my boyfriend", he tried to utter out. Did everyone at this skating rink think they were dating?"

The older man raised his eyebrows and looked at Taehyung this time, "He isn't? Your actions would say otherwise". The stranger sighed once he noticed Taehyung's blank face. "You two remind me of me and my husband when we were young. He used to love coming to ice skating rink".

He let out a deep sigh, one that came from deep and seemed filled with a lot of emotion. "I'm sorry for assuming I guess. I just wanted to say, if you got something good, don't let it go". With that he got up, the walking cane supporting his weight as he hobbled away.

Taehyung watched the man go before he looked back at Jungkook, the boy now nearing him, seemingly satisfied with the amount of tricks he had done. "Who was that?" The older shrugged, "No idea. You done?"

The younger hummed as he got off the ice, "I'm tired". They dropped the skates at the entrance and put their own shoes back on. Taehyung smiled, being able to touch the ground again without thin blades separating his feet from the floor.

The two boys bantered all the way to Taehyung's dorm, thick scarfs wrapped around their necks, their noses red from the cold as they laughed at each other's jokes. When Jungkook made a sarcastic comment, the other merely grinned before pushing him away. What he didn't expect to happen was Jungkook slipping on the frozen pavement, his body falling to the left, into the wet ditch.

"Fuck- Are you alright?", Taehyung yelled, his heart beating rapidly as he saw half of the younger's body now covered by the high water that stood in the ditch. "I'm okay", Jungkook said, his teeth now chattering by the ice cold water that had invaded his clothes.

Taehyung stood on the side and stuck out his arm, wanting to pull the younger out of the ditch. "I'm so sorry!", he grimaced as he watched Jungkook try to clamber out of the ditch, his clothes soaked and smelling terribly. "It's okay", Jungkook smiled, grabbing the other's hand to pull himself up, "You couldn't have known that I'd slip".

"I'll give you some warm clothes when we're back", Taehyung spoke, pulling the younger with him. They weren't too far from his dorm. Jungkook smiled as the older kept blabbering about I'm so sorry I shouldn't have pushed you and walk faster before you catch pneumonia.

His eyes were stuck on the male's hand that was still clutching his, their white and black gloved hands matching quite well. Jungkook's glove was soaked and cold but Taehyung didn't seem to mind the water soaking into his own glove.

They passed by a lot of students when they were back on college grounds, the people staring at Jungkook's soaked clothes and their intertwined hands. Taehyung didn't seem to realize, or he just didn't care, as he pulled him up the stairs.

"I'll get you some towels", was the first thing Taehyung said as they entered his dorm, his hand finally dropping the younger's. Jungkook nodded and watched the older enter his bedroom. The younger watched the water drip down onto the floor and he grimaced at it. He would stain Taehyung's whole dorm if he walked all the way to the bathroom.

He first threw off his coat and let it drop onto the house mat. He then pulled his shirt over his head, the cloth sticking to everything it could. He grimaced at the feeling of his wet jeans clinging to his thighs and quickly tried peeling them off his legs.

"What-"

Jungkook looked up from the jeans that he had finally been able to kick off. Taehyung's face was entirely red, his cheeks ablaze, his ears red to the point of them resembling a tomato. Jungkook mentally smirked but merely smiled as he made grabby hands towards the towels in Taehyung's arms. "I didn't want to make a mess of your dorm", he said as he started drying himself.

"You can take a shower if you want", Taehyung gulped, pointing towards his bathroom. Jungkook nodded, a small smile still on his lips, "Don't mind if I do". As he left for the bathroom, Taehyung was still picking up the pieces of his thoughts that had exploded at seeing the half-naked Jungkook in his dorm.

I forgot he's a sportsman. Damn those muscles though-
