Daphne has been glaring at Richie throughout the whole trip until they and the other tourists, mostly college students, have arrived at the small island.

Spooky Island

"Welcome to 'Spooky Island.' The frightfully popular spring break spot for college students." The announcer said as the gang got off of their boat.

Richie is really excited to be on this island, yet with Daphne around, he has no idea of it. What's even worse is that Mary Jane has a small crush on him.

"Scooby Doo!, and the rest of Mystery Inc, it's marvelous to see you. That's the second time this week -"

The announcements stop as the man gets out of the Tiki machine and looks at the gang.

"Sorry, that's my new toy. I'm just getting up to speed it, but anyway, welcome." The man said to the gang.

Daphne quickly gets all her bags and signs, "Thank goodness, I was afraid I'd have to lug those all the way to the hotel."

"That's what Spooky Island is all about, realizing your worst fears." The man said to Daphne.

"True, worse fears like getting mosquitoes bites throughout the whole trip." Richie muttered as he quickly scratched the bite on his arm.

Daphne rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, I'm Emile Mondavarious. The owner of the amusement park." Emile introduced himself to the gang.

"You seem less...-" but Shaggy cut Velma off.

"Spooky."

"That is what we thought." Richie said to Emile.

"I can be very spooky when called upon. But you guys wouldn't want to run into me in the dark ally." Emile said.

"Alright, and you are the one who brought us here on this island?" Richie asked Emile.

Emile shakes his head, "No, what brought you here was your insatiable appetite for a juice mystery."

Daphne quickly runs up to Emile and says, "The truth is, Mystery Inc is broken up."

"That's the beauty of broken things. It can be fixed." Emile explains.

"That can not be a fix of my partner and I relationship." Daphne said.

Richie can feel a needle being stabbed in his own heart after what Daphne says. Although being broke up from the Mystery Inc is one thing, he and Daphne broken relationships really hurt.

"I'm sorry about that, but I need you to fix Spooky Island." Emile said.

"What kind of problem?" Velma asked Emile as the gang began to walk to the island.

"Well, I believe someone is causing a spell on the students. Have any of you guys seen them very differently or something?" Emile asked the gang.

Richie looked over to see a bunch of people, all lined up and glaring at the gang.

"Well, not really, maybe they're are very serious, mature type of college students." Richie said to Emile.

"Precisely, they didn't before they came. They've changed!" Emile said to the blonde boy.

Richie shakes his head, "Really? What do you mean? It's not like they're about to murder someone."

That is until one guy comes across to one girl, who is in front of the line and try to tell her that they've been friends when they are little, just as the gang watching all this. But to the girl respond, she throws the man across and lands on the floor, next to the gang.

"Oh shoot." Richie muttered.

Yeah, there is something wrong with that people.

"I'm terrified, the young people that come off that barge, the people I loved the most, they're in danger." Emile said to the gang while being scared.

"I'm going to solve this one first." Velma said.

"Not before I solved it first." Fred said to Velma.

"You'll look like total idiots when you're captured, and I save you." Daphne said to Fred and Velma.

Richie rolled his eyes of this, as where it's ridiculous that Fred, Daphne, and Velma want to fight each other of who will solve the new case.

Nothing changes.

Later that night, the gang was having fun at the island, as where Richie was at the pool, where the other college students were at, too, while drinking and swimming at the pool too.

Just as Richie gets out of the swimming pool, Mary Jane comes to his side while holding two drinks.

"Oh, hi Mary." Richie smiled at the Blonde girl.

"Hi, Rich, sorry to bother you, but I was wondering how your day was so far on this island." Mary asked.

Richie got one of the drinks that Mary had as the two sit down on a table.

"It's been good so far, yet it's still hard for my after my break up from my girlfriend two years ago." Richie said, feeling said when he talked about Daphne.

"I know how you feel, it's pretty said, but just be happy right now, mostly that you are on an island, having a pool party and everything." Mary said to the dirty blonde boy.

Unknown to the two, Daphne was watching this and starting to have the mixed feelings of being angry and sad at the same time.

'Maybe Richie do wanna move on.' Daphne thought to herself

Despite the harsh feeling, Daphne decided to come up the two and said to Richie, "Hi Richie, can I talk to you a minute."

"Oh, sure." Richie said to the redhead as he got his bag and followed her.

Mary looked at Daphne and asked, "You are Daphne, right?"

Daphne glared at the Blonde girl, "Yes, but you stay away from Richie, you b-"

"Daphne, you coming!?"

The sound of Richie cut Daphne off, and Daphne responded, "Coming!"

Daphne turned to Mary a bit and continued to glare at her before leaving.
