Inner struggle

Robin never missed an opportunity and stood by Bon's side throughout the process of creating the website. He was always there, providing mental support and offering suggestions to help Bon improve it because he knew that not only Bon, but also this website was the only key to changing his life.

After countless difficult days, Bon finally completed the most polished version of the website.

Bon named it BB—the initials of Bin and Bon. He chose this name to express his gratitude to Robin for supporting him all this time and for contributing ideas to help him create it.

Sure enough, before long, the innovative approach and advanced functionality of the website were embraced by their classmates.

After receiving invitations to try out the website via email, everyone seemed excited about making friends through the platform, sharing their thoughts, statuses, and everyday life photos, beyond just study-related topics.

Bon and Robin, of course, gained significant benefits from creating the website. They created accounts and connected with many talented students in the class. They continuously initiated discussions on assignments, allowing students to exchange ideas. Over time, they gathered a vast amount of free study materials and essay samples without having to think too hard.

The user base of BB expanded rapidly. From Bon's class to Robin's, and then to the entire school—everyone was highly enthusiastic about it. Thanks to the website, Bon and Robin breezed through every exam effortlessly.

However, Robin's ambitions did not stop there. Even though he had access to free study materials, he persisted in studying, determined to learn as much as possible, no matter how difficult it was. His goal was to earn a scholarship to ease the burden of tuition and living expenses. The school provided some financial aid for struggling students like him, but it was minimal. The small amount of money he had in his pocket when he first arrived in this life was also dwindling, and he needed to find a way to earn more.

While studying, he developed an interest in business books. He frequently borrowed books about billionaires and their business strategies from the library. Even though he didn't understand much, he kept reading, hoping to find something that could change his life.

Despite performing well in all his exams, he knew that for someone without natural academic talent like him, earning a scholarship was a far-fetched dream. Even Bon, who barely studied, still did better than him.

Robin quietly returned to his room and saw his two roommates snoring like pigs. He felt an urge to punch each of them out of frustration.

He plopped down on his bed and emptied his pocket, counting a few small coins over and over again. It was barely enough to buy a small sandwich to stave off hunger.

Suddenly, Robin's eyes landed on a thick wallet on the messy desk of his roommate. The wallet was so full that money was sticking out.

Almost instinctively, dark thoughts crept into his mind. Robin reached for the wallet and quietly returned to his bed.

Sitting on his bed, his heart pounded as if someone were stomping on his chest repeatedly.

He opened the wallet and was stunned—his eyes widened, and his jaw dropped at the sight of the thick stack of high-denomination bills inside.

He thought to himself:

"Taking just one bill... he probably wouldn't even notice, right?"

As if something was urging him, Robin reached in to pull out a bill. Just as he was about to take one, his roommate stirred and mumbled in his sleep, making Robin freeze in place.

Terrified, Robin glanced over to see if his roommate had woken up. But no, he had only turned over to sleep more comfortably.

Robin held the wallet in his hands, remembering the days of hardship—how he had once pickpocketed others just to fill his stomach. Back then, he even laughed at the sight of wealthy people frantically searching for their stolen wallets.

After contemplating for a while, he abandoned the idea of taking the money.

"I don't want to live that life again!"

With that thought, he placed the wallet back on his roommate's desk without taking a single bill.

Since he had eaten at school earlier that day, Robin figured he could endure hunger for the night and save the few coins he had for breakfast the next morning. That seemed like a better plan.

Robin lay on his bed, pulling the warm blanket over himself, ready to sleep through his hunger. Just as he closed his eyes, a loud "THUD!" startled him—a book had fallen onto his head.

Little did he know, this book would completely change his way of thinking.

Too lazy to put it back on the shelf, Robin tossed the book aside and tried to sleep again.

Strangely, despite being exhausted earlier, he now found himself unable to sleep. He kept tossing and turning.

Seeing the book still lying there, Robin decided to read it to see if it would make him drowsy.

At first, he flipped through a few pages, expecting boredom to take over. But oddly enough, the more he read, the more captivated he became—he read it as if it were a thrilling novel.

Through this book, Robin discovered something groundbreaking—marketing. This was the key that would allow him and Bon to make money from their website, perhaps even earning an enormous fortune from it.
