"We're friends.... right?" I looked up at my friends with tears running down my cheeks. They all had emotionless expressions. They all smiled wickedly and laughed. "Friends? HAHA! Who would ever want to be friends with you!?" My eyes widened seeing them act like this. This isn't them. They wouldn't say that! This has to be a nightmare! Their laughter got darker and soon insults were being told as they slowly faded away.

I woke up gasping for air. I curled up into a ball and cried for a few moments remember what happened. My phone soon went off showing a picture of me and my friends on the day before I left. I quickly answered and heard the sweet and caring voices of my friends. "ALPHA!! YAY YOU ANSWERED!!" I laughed at Charlottes excitement. "H-hey guys."

After talking with them for a while i had to hang up to get ready for school. We lived in a different time zone now so I'm three hours behind my friends.

I slowly got out of bed and saw a uniform hanging on my door. 'Mom must have put that there after I rushed in last night.' I walked to my bathroom and decided to take a shower since I smell like coffee and rain.

"Ahh that was refreshing. Ok! Time to get ready for school!" I took a loot at my uniform and saw two?? A male and female uniform. I noticed a note. "Hi sweetie. I noticed you seemed a bit upset yesterday and thought I'd let you be. Oh also here your uniform for school. The one you're going to says that a student can wear a male or female uniform if they want. So I thought I'd let you choose which one you'd like to wear. You can change uniforms over the year if you want but still thought you'd like to pick it out. I have breakfast make for you down stairs. I had to leave for an interview so I'll see you when you get home from school. I love you sweetheart and hope you have a wonderful day.

I smiled and looked back at the uniforms. The female one had a red and black plaid skirt and tie along with a white short sleeve shirt with the school crest of it. The male uniform had a long white sleeved shirt with the same tie and black slacks. I thought for a moment. Yes I sometimes like to dress girly but I also like guy clothes. I decided to go with the male uniform since I thought that would be better.

I brushed my hair out and moved some of it out of my eyes. I looked at my reflection one last time and smiled at myself. I grabbed my backpack and rushed downstairs. I saw some toast and eggs still warm in the kitchen. I quickly eat and cleaned up before I dashed out the door. I took maybe two steps before I realized I didn't know which school I was going to.

I walked in the house and saw another note from mom. "Haha sorry sweetie forgot to tell you that your going to "mystic high school" there's four different schools and that one is the closest for you. Just follow the directions on the back and you'll be fine. Go to the principals office right away for your schedule. Love you have a good day." I laughed a bit and turned the note around to see a few directions written down.

Me and my mom like to leave notes instead of texting each other it's just our thing.

I quickly ran out of the house and down the street to my new school. As I was running I saw some students with the same uniform on. It was a group of guys, four to be exact, and only one of them was wearing a female uniform. I smiled at his confidence to wear that and decided to just walk for a while. Two of the guys in the group were the ones from yesterday. I keep my head down and tried to stay hidden. But because of that I didn't noticed they stopped and I ended up running into one of them and fell backwards. I looked up at them through my hair as my face grew slightly red from how embarrassing that was. I quickly got back onto my feet and looked down. "I-I'm sorry!" I said as I looked down trying to not make eye contact. I heard them chuckle and looked up slightly. The two from yesterday smiled at me. "Its fine miss we didn't know you where behind us." "Yah so don't worry about it ok?" I nodded and kept looking down.

"Hey your that girl from yesterday right?" I looked at the one with brown hair and nodded slightly. "Y-Yes." I said quickly. As we walked they asked me a few questions and I tried my best to answer as short as I could. "Hey." I looked over at the one with black hair-that I've learned is called Brian- and tilted my head a bit letting him know I was listening. "What's your name by the way? I never got it." I looked at him surprised a bit. "M-My names Mea." They smiled and Matthew-brown haired guy- put an arm around me and smiled. "Its great to finally know your name Mea, but I've been wondering... Why were you crying in the rain yesterday after you left the cafe? You stood up to Victoria and Sierra, the two biggest bullies in the school-" "W-wait! They go to this school!!?" I asked panicked. They nodded and I looked down frightened and shaking slightly.

Brian put a hand on my shoulder and smiled at me. "Calm down you'll be ok." I frantically shook my head as my shaking became worst. Memories of the last time I did that and everything after it played through my mind. "N-no I'm not." I said barley above a whisper. The school soon came into view and my mind quickly started to think of terrible scenarios. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to relax. When I opened my eyes again I smiled at them. "Thanks for walking with me, it was nice to meet you but I have to get going to the principals office. Bye! Thanks again!" I said as I ran off and into the school.

As I walked around the halls I got a few surprised looks from most girls in the school. There was close to no one wearing the male uniform that was female. But I didn't care like I said before I like to wear guy clothes. I ignored them and kept walking till I made it to the office. I knocked on the door and heard a soft come in, from the other side. I slightly opened the door and looked in to see the principal. It was a woman, probably in her late 30's. She had fire red hair with black streaks and gold eyes with black and white specks.

I walked in and introduced myself. "H-Hello. My names Mea Thorn. I-I'm supposed to start here today Miss." She looked up and me and smiled. "Aw yes Mea I've been expecting you. I hope you found the school just fine. Here's your schedule and your locker combination. If you have any problems come and talk to me ok?" I smiled and took the two small papers from her hands. "Thank you." I looked down over my schedule and frowned a bit when I saw two classes that I don't think I was supposed to take. "Um.. excuse me but I don't understand why I'm put in these two classes." She looked up at me and waved her hand telling me to come over to her.

I showed her my paper and pointed to my 5th and 8th hour. Which were wizardry 101 and werewolf 101. "Oh I'm sorry miss, we've been have problems with the scheduling a bit but I'm afraid that since your starting later then there other students, that we won't be able to change your classes. I'm sorry but I hope you still enjoy them." A small sigh came from me and I nodded understanding. I smiled at her and thanked her. The bell for homeroom went off and the principal waved her hand telling me I should get going before I'm late for class.

I quickly thanked her again and rushed out of her office.

'Oh no no No! The final bell rang five minutes ago and I still can't find my homeroom!' I was starting to panic and didn't know where to go. This school was HUGE!! I was on the second floor on one of the many confusing halls currently. I couldn't think of where the class was and slid down onto the floor, resting my head on the lockers behind me. "I'm hopeless. How am I going to do anything right if I can't even find my stupid homeroom!" I sighed in frustration and hid my face in my knees. I soon heard soft small footsteps approach me and looked up. I saw a girl she was short but looked kind. She had the female uniform on. She had long curled dull blonde hair and brown eyes.

She smiled at me and held her hand out. "Hi I'm Mable! Are you Mea by chance?" I nodded and took her hand as I stood up. "Y-yes. How did you-" "Our homeroom teacher asked me to come find you since we thought you were lost. Don't worry though your not the first student to get lost in these halls." She said as she smiled brightly and giggled. I looked down slightly feeling bad that she had to come and find me. She took a hold of my hand and pulled me along with her towards our classroom.

"So you just moved here the other day right? I heard something happened at the cafe involving Victoria and Sierra. Are you ok about that?" I smiled at her and nodded. "Yah I'll be fine. D-does everyone.. know about yesterday?" I asked starting to get worried. She looked down sadly and nodded. "It's the top thing that the schools been talking about. I'm sorry they did that to you. It's just so rude that they do that to a person that's new and they don't know." She puffed her cheeks out and shook her head.

I smiled and patted her back. "It's fine I'm kinda used to bullies and such so don't worry about it ok." I said with a smile. She looked at me surprised but smiled and nodded. We soon made it to our classroom-which was on the first floor- and walked in. Our homeroom teacher was a middle-aged man with brown hair and some gray strands. He smiled at me and in a loud voice said. "Ah! Miss Thorn I was starting to worry if you would be joining us or not." I looked down and apologized. He laughed and told me to sit wherever there was a empty seat.

I looked around and saw one next to Mable. She smiled and gestured me over to her. I sat down with her and she smiled brightly. We talked for a while till the bell went off telling us to head to our first hour. I looked down at my schedule and saw that is was... math. I cringed a bit since I wasn't the best in math. Mable looked over at me and told me where to go. I thanked her and went on my way to the class.

'Maybe being the new student won't be so bad after all??'
