Dear Readers,

Welcome to Train to Nowhere, a short story based on the themes of predestination, fated encounters, and the unpredictability of life.

After spending so much time writing lengthy DC fanfics and series, I needed a break and wanted to try something new to get my writing gears working. For the past month, I was feeling burnt out, and I certainly didn't want to stay like that for too long. So, a friend suggested I try writing a short story, and here I am with a new idea.

Through this story, I want to challenge myself as an author by writing in the present tense, choosing a different narrative, and keeping it very short.

Before you read, I must tell you that this story might not resemble my actual writing style at all. I have never written in the present tense before because I am more prone to writing literary fiction. However, Train to Nowhere and its themes require a slight deviation from my normal.

Last but most importantly, all characters in this story are fictional, so the resemblance to any person, living or dead, is purely coincidental. Furthermore, this is an original work of fiction, with the copyrights belonging solely to the author. Any plagiarism of this content at any other site or book will be reported immediately.
