𝐉𝐄𝐎𝐍 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐊𝐎𝐎𝐊 never expected to wake up in a webtoon. One moment, he was scrolling through his phone, groaning at the melodramatic mess that was You're My Only, and the next, he was living it. The problem? He wasn't the hero. Or the love interest. Or... the side character.

No, fate had stuck him in the worst role imaginable: the doomed villain.

The tale was as predictable as it was cruel. Jungkook-the spurned fiancé of Emperor Kim Taehyung-was driven mad by unrequited love. Taehyung, the perfect, untouchable ruler, had eyes only for the heroine: a dazzling woman destined to ascend to the throne. Envy festered in the ex-fiancé, curdling into treachery.

But this Jungkook was no paper villain.

He wasn't about to play the part of a jealous fool, nor was he inclined to meet a bloody end for a story he never asked to join. Let Taehyung dote on his starry-eyed darling if he pleased. Jungkook had no intention of sticking around to fulfill his tragic fate.

Rewrite the script? Easy to say.

Harder to do when Taehyung seemed hellbent on not annuling their engagement.

But even villains have hearts, treacherous things that they are. And if Jungkook wasn't careful, this story would not only claim his life. It would swallow his soul.
