[25] She Brought Her Back.
Warning: This chapter may be very emotional.
Branch waited outside of the door for Poppy. He couldn't stand to go in there and see her hurt like that, it was all too much.
At least when his Grandma had died, he hasn't been there to see her die completely.
He had just seen her been taken.
Just then, the doctor came out, and he sighed.
"Branch, there's something I need to tell you."
He waited for a response from Branch, but he stayed quiet.
"Poppy. She's come back. She's got no scratches, no broken bones, she's not bleeding, not a single scratch on her body. They all disappeared. I've never seen anything like it before in my life, and I've been doing his for 20 years."
Branch signed of relief.
Just then, Poppy came out.
Branch picked her up, hugged he'd, spun her, kissed her, you name it.
"Branch," Poppy said, and smiled. "I'd like for you to meet someone."
Just then, an elderly lady came out, and smiled at them.
Branch ran over to her as fast as she could and hugged her as tight as ever.
"Grandma," he whispered, through tears.
