Okay so this is basically a scene that I would want to see in season 5, although I know it's not going to happen.

After searching through many wormholes, poppy and her friends stumble upon one that captures both poppy and branch's eyes.

It's the two of them, together.

Like, together. As a couple.

Wormhole poppy: How are we going to tell the village we're together? Everyone just sees you and I as best friends, it will be completely unexpected.

Wormhole branch: Hey, it's going to be okay. Just because you're queen doesn't mean you have to make every decision based on the village. You need to live your life without worrying about others.

Wormhole poppy: *smiles* Thank you, Branch. (Long pause) I-I love you.

Wormhole branch: *grins* I love you more.

As the wormhole couple leans in for a kiss, the gang struggles to leave as fast as they can, aside from branch.

Branch is frozen at his spot, watching them longingly.

Poppy: (Seeing them about to kiss, she grabs the backs of the gang.) okay, okay! That's enough! (She pushes them in the wormhole.) Branch, lets go!

Branch: (branch is still watching them. He had a sad look on his face.)

Poppy: (as she slowly approaches branch by his side, she looks closely at him) Branch, are you okay? What's wrong?

Branch: (Branch slowly turns to look poppy in the eyes, and he looks at her for a long 4 seconds, before grabbing her cheek and kissing her.)

Once they pull away, they stare at each other, both smiling.

Branch: You have no idea how long I've been waiting to do that.

Poppy: *smiles, and waits about 10 seconds, raises her eyebrows* We should probably get back with everyone else. They'll probably wondering where we are.

They head back into the wormhole, and the gang is waiting for them.

Smidge: What took so long?

(Branch and poppy share a quick glance)

Both: nothing!

The two head in front of the group, and the rest of them stay behind, giggling and raising their eyebrows at each other.
