if you know me you know i am a major whore for halftones whether that be in my edits or my graphics there was bound to be some sort of halftone texture that helped tie it all together as it does here in these two covers where it's a lot more prominent (i'll let you know the most egregious examples were my very tasty eddie munson fics (yes, fics with an -s on the end) that are found deep in my old portfolio called bitter!)

in this case, i was messing around with a halftone psd i built thanks to texturelabs on youtube and wanted to see if i could do anything with a monotone color scheme (reminiscent of my fairytale-like ator jacob black cover) and safe to say i sort of succeeded ! i say sort of bc the clue cover is a little muddled but i ate with the taste cover and i love how the background looks like a pair of jeans yummy

again, this was one of those "turn my brain off and just do" projects and since i'm gearing up to open up another lotto (surprise !!) (and also in general as a real-world graphic designer), i kinda need to have a creative process so i can be able to explain why everything is where it is, ya know ?
