I walked alongside daddy when mommy looked back at us "go on ahead honey, i'll be along shortly" daddy told her which she nodded "come on Leo, Rosa was helping me make some chocolate chip cookies" "yay!" Leo took mommy's hand and skipped happily beside her while they went towards home

"Kayli, i'm very disappointed in you" Daddy started which made me hang my head "you snuck out of the World Conference Hall and got yourself in danger" "but daddy, i just wanted out" i tried to tell him which he knelt down on one knee "Kayli, i just don't want anything to happen to you, i'm saying this because i love you. I don't want to lose you, you're going to be a guardian" i made an annoyed sound "what if i don't want to be a guardian? it doesn't sound fun" i huffed "that's like saying you don't want to be a Phillips, it's in your blood" i sighed when he said that.

We walked towards home while he told me of things and how important me being the next line of guardian with my brother. Daddy stopped in front of the World Hall "Kayli, as long as you live here, it's who you are, i'm sure you'll understand when your older" He smiled at me then he kissed my forehead before walking inside. I walked after him until i was inside, the smell of mommy cooking supper made me stomach growl.

Entering the dining room, I saw my uncles and various aunts at the great big table. Aunt Julchen saw me first and got up from her seat to walk over to me "Hello liebchen, your mother and your aunts helped with supper tonight, even a few of your uncles pitched in, come i saved you a seat beside me" She walked away and i followed after her, Aunt Julchen was one of my favorite aunties.  She was brave and strong but she wasn't like my Uncle Gilbert. I sat between her and my aunt Monika. 

I looked over and saw Leo seated between Uncle Alfred and Uncle Arthur while he was stuffing his face with the pasta that i'm sure aunt Alice and Uncle Feli made. Uncle Arthur cleared his throat "Kentin, we got a letter in the mail today from one of the anime worlds in the Ancient Doorway Forest" Daddy looked up from the rim of his coffee mug and smiled then he set it down "hmm, i'm guessing Allen Walker or maybe someone from Fairy Tail, i'm excited to see Natsu and Gray teach some magic classes" "Me too! Gray is so cool!" Leo exclaimed grinning like a dummy. I saw mommy in the doorway with a stern look on her face before she walked over and sat down with a bowl of soup "i told you darling, i didn't want them to know about anime until they were older, i don't think Kentin Phillips that i wasn't watching the hidden cameras in the T.V room when they were babies" Uncle Gilbert was snickering with Uncle Alfred "dude, you are so busted"  "that's not your business Alfred" Arthur scolded him which Uncle Alfred just shrugged his shoulders "just saying" "Kentin the letter is marked top secret so after supper you can read it its on your desk in the office" Uncle Arthur told him 

I knew soon a full argument would start between the ones who usually argue at the meetings and i got out of there quick before the usual food fight started. I went down to see Avi in the pasture "you know Avi, i don't like being some important girl, i just want to be normal" i sighed which he nickered gently. 

((Kentin's Pov))

I went to the office and cleaned myself off, sometimes i hate it when Rosa makes desserts because the others use them in the food fights. I looked onto the desk and saw what looked like the Wings of Freedom on the wax seal.

I sat down, opened the envelope and read the letter smiling as soon as i was finished "they are skilled fighters, perfect for the school, whoever they pick to be their guardian, their skills will be needed to teach them" i told myself while putting the letter in the file cabinet. The phone went off so i went over to my desk and answered it "Hello, Kentin Phillips here" i heard gasping on the phone "Kentin, it's horrible!" it sounded like Alice! "what's wrong?" i asked urgently "when i was heading back to the Nyotalia realm, i saw a 2p run past us! Where's Kayli?! i saw her leave the dining room" i widened my eyes in horror "don't worry Alice, i'll handle it" then i hung up and grabbed my sword. Whoever decided to try and attack my children especially Kayli, they would pay dearly for it.

In the distance where the pasture was, i heard the screaming of my daughter.

((Kayli's POV))

I heard rustling in the bushes which caused Avi to neigh and run off then a man came out. He had a white outfit on that looked similar to what my Uncle Lovino wears but his hair was blond with the curl and the eyes were a reddish purple. In the man's hand was a knife similar to that woman who attacked me earlier.

I let out a scream because i was very scared. The man raised his arm and was about to bring it down on me, i closed my eyes because i couldn't watch "oh little ragazza, i can't hurt you, that's not who i am" i opened my eyes to see the kind expression on the man's face which confused me then he smiled at me gently "but you forgive me right?" i was about to open my mouth when i heard my daddy shouting.

"Lovi! get away from my daughter now!" i looked in the direction of daddy's voice to see him carrying a sword and running towards us. The sound of my screaming must of alerted my uncles and aunts because soon Arthur, Alfred, Elizaveta, Ludwig, Feliciano and Gilbert came out of the world hall as well as Leo holding a stick sword and mommy"Lovi, for thinking you can come into my territory uninvited and try to hurt my children mainly my daughter the punishment is death" i gasped, what was wrong with my daddy? Where was the daddy i knew and loved? Where was the daddy who was kind? 

((Lovi's pov))

"Sir, i wasn't going to do any..." before i could explain, Kentin grabbed me by the back of my jacket and forced me on my knees. Was this it? what seemed like a lifetime without my  fratello, there wasn't a time where i missed him being so bossy. I felt a pair of eyes burning on me and i looked over behind the one known as Germany. There as plain as day, almost as if he knew i was thinking about him in my time of death was the familar purple-red eyes of my fratello Luciano.

Luciano was awake at last after a decade of dormancy. I gave my fratello a small smile, a lone tear falling from my eye. So much for a happy reunion between us, i mouthed out the words "mi dispiace fratello". I've accepted this even if i had a change of heart in harming the little ragazza, i knew they wouldn't believe me.

I heard the sinister chuckle and i looked up at Kentin to see his eyes weren't the dark blue ones but the red ones of the 2ps. I knew that another that had been dormant is now awake. It was Keaton!

"you" was the only word i could whisper before Keaton brought the sword down on me and my world went black

((Luciano's POV))

It was true,

I spent years in nothing more than almost blissful dormancy. Listening on and off about how that idiota I shared a body with whine about Germany, eating too much pasta and being ridiculously pathetic at times. Yet, I found it oddly soothing; a strange numbness that I blocked out, only sometimes aware of myself and others where i was just asleep and that was okay. Maybe it was because i was tired, but I really just lost the will to care somewhere along the way and was the sole reason that so many years passed, my mind even drifting off to the times when I had spent with my famiglia and the other 2p's before that petulant brat had entered the picture.

When it came, I wasn't expecting it. 

The sound of a little girl's scream, ringing out loud and true in the distance. 

Something in my body jolted and my senses were more alert than they have been in years, feet - Feliciano's as he was the sole one in control - taking me outside to the fresh air outside. I mused that it smelled nice; nothing what i wasn't used to but it felt like i was taking it in for the first time in years, along with something else that made itself blatantly clear as Feliciano cowered a bit behind Germany's muscled arms for safety.

What I saw made every thought running in my head stop short at once, feeling spreading to every inch of what I soon recognized was now my body for the moment. I had full control, but for what purpose? The one on the ground before Kentin and his sharp blade was none other than my very own fratello, the very one and the same whose eyes met my own and I felt my whole body tensed up rigidly. I wanted to run to his side and defend my useless idiot of family I had, but... I couldn't in fear of being caught, considering the situation.

That failure of an idiot... just why wasn't he fighting back or running?! It made me angrier than anything for a fleeting instance, but one long enough that while I stared at him, I saw what he was mouthing to me and suddenly I felt as if someone had thrown ice water over my body. He.... was... sorry? Those words... and that smile of his was just so... accepting of his situation, that he was going to die, and the one time I couldn't do a damn thing to help him in any way or form was beyond frustrating.

A weird tightness lodged itself in my throat and I couldn't think, left to watch as Lovi turned his gaze back to Kentin. In doing so, I saw those deep red eyes and my own widened impossibly. That bastard was still around?!

What followed happened so fast I didn't even think about what I was doing.

That blade came down toward Lovi swiftly and I pushed away from Germany and stepped forwards, time rushing back all at once with the distinct sound of the blade rending through flesh and bone, severing my fratello's head from clean off his shoulders. "NO!!!!!!!" I stared, horrified at the sight before me and my steps stilled where I stood, almost thankful when what was left of Lovi's body began to dissolve and crumble away as if he'd never been there at all. The damage had been done though, and as I came back to my senses, I registered that when I'd screamed out, there had been the young girl -Kayli's - voice alongside mine. Which reminded me that the others... were probably staring at me now, spurring me to act as i put on that pathetic act and suddenly turned, burying my face into Germany's muscular chest and my shoulders trembling as if i was scared.

"...I-I'm sorry...! Please... I didn't... I was just trying to get to Kayli... Please don't be mad...I didn't want to see that... I..." I let my falsely higher-pitched voice whine out pathetically, acting as if I was really Feliciano in this instance to not draw HIS attention.

What was real, however. Was the hot, wet warmth that rolled down my cheeks as I stood there, hands clenching onto the material of Germany's shirt.

"....riposare in pace, fratello" My voice was so quiet, nobody would hear it. 

If I hated that brat before... I utterly despised him now.
