Dear Inhabitants of this World

For those who don't know who i am, My name is Kentin Phillips. I am the guardian of the Hetalia world. I write to you now to give you a wonderful opportunity. In 7 years time, i will be selecting children from around the human world to be guardians for the different worlds of anime. I understand that not all of the anime worlds will want a guardian and i don't want to pressure you. If you would like to have a guardian you have certain duties to prepare. 

First of all, the graduated guardian that you will decide on will need a place to live while staying in your world so you have 7 years to create living quarters, what type i will leave that to you, be creative.

Secondly, for those who wish to have a guardian, you will be required to come to the school to teach the guardians in the art of battle, magic and the normal school subjects as well.

If you want to have a guardian all you have to do is write yes at the bottom of the page with the world's name and i will have someone pick up these letters.

I hit print about a thousand times using up paper in the printer and working all night printing them, there would be alot of anime worlds to deliver the letters to luckily the nations would help me out.

My name is Kentin Phillips, if you hadn't already guessed. It's been ten years since everything had happened when i was 17 but i don't regret anything. After the events back when i was a teenager, i was studying at the World Academy in the world of Hetalia with Chloe but after i had graduated, i decided to work as a janitor in the real world for FUNimation one of the most popular places that dubs anime.

Of course it was a dream come true and i was looking forward to working, even if it was janitor work for the last 7 years.

During my breaks, however, i was drawing anime characters on scrap paper and one of the artists saw "you're really good, Mr?" i smiled at him "Kentin Phillips, i'm just the janitor" he smiled back "mind if i take your drawing? It's of Allen Walker from D. Gray Man right?" i nodded. 

The picture was of Allen in combat with Timcampy flying above him. He was also using the full extent of the Crowned Clown, the white cape floating behind him. To add effect, i used shadows to implicate a bit of 3D "sure, it was just a absentminded drawing but you can take it" the artist smiled and took the picture.

At the end of the day, i was actually called into my boss's office. I was worried, i didn't do anything wrong. Oh, maybe it was because i forgot to do a washroom. I went to the office hesitantly and knocked on his door "come in" i took a gulp and walked inside "you wanted to see me sir?" i asked nervously.

Beside him was the same artist who took my picture of Allen Walker, on the desk was the drawing itself "so i see you have talent" my boss started out "i like talent, if i had known you had this kind of drawing skill, i wouldn't of made you a janitor but an artist" my eyes widened "how about it Kentin? Would you like to give up your mops and brooms for  pencils, paint and erasers?" My boss turned around and smiled wide "yes, o-o-of course sir, nothing would please me more" inside i was jumping up and down "Kentin, i look forward to working with you on the team, My name is Andres Schmit, if you have any questions, please let me know" he smiled at me and i nodded "I am sending you to Japan for a month just to get a grasp at what you will be doing, also it's a great way to see how everything is animated and such" the boss told me.

I got home a little late and saw Chloe wasn't home. We lived in the house left to me by my great, great, great grandmother Elizabeth in New York. Where i work is a small branch of the main building in Texas. I looked at the picture on the mantle. It was our wedding day, Chloe looked so beautiful in her white wedding gown, it was held in the Hetalia world. Her father Gavin Williams the man who said Chloe was the reason her mother was dead, after 5 years he accepted me as a son in law. Of course, we had to let her dad on the secret of the nations as he had attended the wedding.

"Honey?" i jerked my head up and saw Chloe standing by the top of the stairs, i smiled at her, seems she was home after all. She came downstairs and gave me a small peck then i placed a hand on her swollen stomach. Chloe was pregnant and i couldn't be more proud and amazed. 

After our marriage, we had talked about having children and Chloe didn't want one right after me and her got married so i agreed to wait. It was a long wait too. Chloe decided that last year that she wanted kids. Now she was glowing and about 8 months pregnant "how is our baby?" Chloe gave me a funny look "it's fine, you ask me everyday how the little one is" i blushed "well it's our first child, i just don't want us to deal with a miscarriage, you know that would break both of our hearts" i admitted "it's fine, i got some of the Hetalia ladies looking after me when you're away" Chloe kissed me again "i got promoted" Chloe looked at me with surprise "really?" i nodded "well than, congratulations sweetheart, you deserved it" i felt my heart melt at the look of pride in her eyes "The boss is sending me to Japan so i know the ropes and i won't be back for a month" i hung my head and heard her let out a gasp but i felt her hand on my shoulder "i'll be fine Kentin, you deserve this, i'll go to the Hetalia world and stay there for a month" 

The next morning, i was packed and ready to go for my flight to Japan. From the corner of my eye, i saw Chloe standing there with a smile "you sure you'll be alright?" i asked her "yes, now go, i promise i won't give birth until you're home, i want you to be there" i kissed her once "i love you" i whispered and left to get to my taxi. As the taxi drove away, i waved back at Chloe who yelled out "i love you too!" and she waved. 

A month Later

I was full of knowledge of being an artist and Andres really helped me. In fact the artists who drew the manga gave me a copy of Kuroko No Basket as a gift. The taxi pulled up and there was Chloe with a smile, she had gotten bigger since i left and like she promised, she was still carrying our first born. I got out and suddenly Chloe hunched over in pain with something wet flowing down her legs. I ran to her side "what's wrong?" i asked her panicked "our baby is coming!" it took a second to register it then i got her to the taxi which by some miracle it was still there.

"Hospital quick!" i told the driver and soon we were off. I called up Arthur and told him what was happening "be calm old chap, you shouldn't panic at a time like this, i'll be at the hospital as soon as i can but in the meantime, try getting Chloe to relax and breathe" " thanks, Arthur" i told him when the call was disconnected and did was instructed. 

When we got to the hospital, i rushed to get Chloe a wheelchair, helped her in and wheeled her to emergency where the nurses took over "As a first time father, we suggest you wait outside in the waiting room" the one nurse told me before going after the others. I couldn't help but pace when i saw Arthur walk in "are you doing ok?" he asked me after walking over "not really, i'm worried about Chloe" i sighed "well stop pacing, you're starting to wear a hole in the floor" Arthur said jokingly and i sat down with a sigh "i've been waiting for this day for a very long time, now that it's come i just don't know what to do" Arthur just patted my shoulder "by the way, congratulations on the promotion a month ago, we always believed in you" i smiled softly "thanks"

The hours seemed to go by so slow it was just a little after midnight when the nurse came out looking graved "Mr. Phillips?" i stood up, it couldn't be, Chloe wouldn't be. The nurse looked up a grin slowly forming on her face "congratulations, you are now the father of a healthy baby boy" Chloe did it, our son was born "nurse! come quick! there's another one!" i heard an other shout from behind the door "another one? that's odd" The nurse looked puzzled but went back anyways.

"Another baby? There was no sign of twins, there were ultrasounds and they only picked up one baby"  i whispered to myself clearly shocked "Your children will be special, i can tell maybe not in the human world but definitely  in the Hetalia world" Arthur smiled, i forgot, being a magic user he can sense magical abilities in people if by chance they have them. That must mean that my children have powers "what do you mean by 'not in the human world but in the Hetalia world' if i may ask?" i was curious "well, from what i could pick up, the faint light of magic is very very dim which i'm guessing means the powers won't manifest in the human world so if they were in my world, i'm sure they can use them at will" that made sense.

The nurse came out 20 minutes later "well Mr.Phillips, it was unexpected but your wife just gave you a beautiful baby girl, she asks you and a Mr. Kirkland to come see them" I looked at Arthur who nodded and followed me to the delivery room.

There, lying on the bed was Chloe holding a blue and pink bundle in her arms. Her forehead was sweaty and she looked worn out but  in my eyes, Chloe couldn't be more beautiful than how she looked right now. Chloe looked at me with bright sparkling green eyes "Kentin, come see your babies" Arthur had to push me forward as i was frozen where i stood.

Walking over to the bed, i looked down at my new family "would you like to hold Kayli?" Chloe asked which caused a shiver down my spine  "Kayli?" she nodded when i had asked "spelled K-A-Y-L-I and this little fellow is Leonardo, Leo for short" i gulped and gently took Kayli from Chloe supporting her head.

My daughter was beautiful, a red patch of hair that looked lighter to mine covered her head but what got me curious was the mark i saw on the back on her tiny shoulder. On Kayli's right shoulder was a mark and i immediately recognized it. It was the winged star that was in front of the sword and banner on my shoulder but the sword was missing "Kentin, there's a mark on Leo's shoulder" Chloe informed and when i looked, there was the sword and banner "if you're wondering about the guardian mark being halved, don't worry, it just means that they are both destined to become guardians"

Smiling, i looked at Kayli only to be shocked. Her little body was cold, still and pale and she wasn't breathing at all "Chloe!" i looked to her in panic "she's not breathing" Chloe whispered in fear "doctor!" the doctor and nurse came in, saw Kayli lifeless and took her away immediately only to come back 10 minutes later looking grieved "i'm sorry, it appears that after birth, your baby girl lived for only a minute, we believe it has something to do with the fact that even with all the ultrasounds, we didn't detect signs of a 2nd baby, would you like to hold your baby even under the circumstance?" the doctor asked Chloe who nodded numbly. I was given Leo to hold who wouldn't stop crying while the doctor brought Kayli's body to her. Arthur had left the room to give us privacy.

"Shh, Leo calm down" i whispered but he wouldn't listen to me. I was heartbroken seeing Chloe so devastated, i couldn't say anything to her. Suddenly i felt a cold chill past me and i heard a voice say "Kayli, Kayli, wake up little one, it isn't time to sleep yet you silly baby" the spot on Kayli's shoulder started to glow white. The glowing light subsided after a minute and the room was quiet, even Leo stopped crying and the one thing that broke the silence was crying coming from the small bundle in Chloe's arms.

"My baby is alive" Chloe whispered kissing the small forehead of our daughter, Leo started up again but in place of tears was the cheerful sound of his laughter. The doctors came hearing the tiny cry to see the miracle "impossible, your baby was dead" at that i had to chuckle. They took Kayli away to run checks and in the end, she was as healthy as a newborn. I left Chloe alone to feed them, i'm sure they were hungry.

Going to the waiting room, i saw Vlad (aka Romania) and Arthur both grinning like the Cheshire cat (good guy by the way, only been to the Pandora Hearts world a few times but Cheshire was cute in the cat-like way) "what's up?" i greeted as i walked up to them "How is the little one?" Vlad asked me "fine....." i took a pause "you did something didn't you?" he nodded "i was talking to Elizabeth when Arthur called me, that's when Elizabeth begged me to let her go i couldn't say no but first she had to get permission from the higher ups" Vlad explained, it made sense "thank you" i told them, i was about to walk away when Vlad stopped me "later we have to talk, bringing Kayli back from the dead isn't without consequence" i sighed "alright".

Arthur had informed me that all the letters i left the nations a month ago were delivered and according to him about 150 worlds out of the 1000, they wanted guardians and the ones he listed surprised me.

150 anime worlds would teach at the school and in 7 years time, my children would attend as well as children from around the world. 

Of course, the warning Vlad had given me, i thought it wouldn't come to pass but as it did turn out, my nightmares came true about 6 years after my children were born.

((A/n: i dont know anyone who does work at FUNimation nor do i know if there are different branches of the company in the different states. What i have written is purely out of my imagination))
