(This chapter shows spoilers of Demon Slayer movie and took place before season 2)
Libranyan woke up in the middle of the woods at night. She got frightened from the noise that she jumped to look around.
"Brother... is that you?" Libranyan asked. There's no response but hear growling.
She spotted a figure from afar and walk towards it but saw the face because of the moonlight. It's a demon that looks like is hungry.
"Well well... a cute kitty. So delicious." It said.
"I'm not food..." Libranyan quivers in fear.
"Well you so yummy..." the demon went to grab Libranyan but she quickly ran off. The demon chasing after her but she too fast. Libranyan stopped at a dead end and knew is the end of her when she saw the demon coming towards her.
"No! Getaway!" Libranyan cried as she closes her eyes. Then she heard a voice, "Water Breathing! First Form! Water Surface Slash!" Then a slash came that cut a demon's head off. It fell to the ground and it disappeared into the air.
Libranyan opened her eyes to know who did it. It's a male teenager with ruffled, black hair with burgundy tips, combed back to expose his forehead, and wide, dark red eyes with white pupils that appear lighter around the lower section of his irises. He also has a scar on the top left of his forehead, wears a different uniform with checkered, black-and-sea-foam-green haori and earrings. He also had a box behind his back.
Libranyan freaked out when she saw a sword that he's hold to think she be next. She starts crying loudly but felt a hand on her head.
"Is alright... the demon is gone." The boy told her then he pick her up.
"You not gonna hurt me?" Libranyan asked.
The guy laughed, "You too cute to be a demon. You're a cat so you're harmless. What's your name?"
"I'm Libranyan." Libranyan introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you, Libranyan. I'm Tanjiro Kamado." The boy replied.
"Tan...jiro..." Libranyan tried to pronounce his name.
"Very good." Tanjiro pats her.
They hear something shaking and is from the box that Tanjiro is carrying behind his back. He put the box down and shows the door open. A girl with black, wavy hair with a pink kimono and have a bamboo muzzle on her mouth. She crawled out of it and look at Libranyan with her pale pink eyes.
"Who's that!?" Libranyan freaked out.
"Oh, that's my younger sister, Nezuko. She's a friendly demon." Tanjiro put Libranyan down to meet Nezuko.
"Hi..." Libranyan waved at her.
"Mm..." Nezuko stare at her then pats her.
"Nya..." Libranyan purred. Then she watches Nezuko growing to her taller height.
"So where you come from?" Tanjiro asked.
"The big storm ate me!" Libranyan explained.
"A storm ate you?" Tanjiro is confused.
"Yeah and my new friends! I want to go to mommy and daddy!" Libranyan then starts crying when she mentioned to her parents that she knew they missing her.
"Is alright... you will meet your mommy and daddy." Tanjiro squat down to calm her down.
"And my big brother..." Libranyan finished her sentence.
"And you will meet your brother," Tanjiro replied.
Libranyan stopped crying and saw a sword, "What a big knife."
"Is a sword. It slashes mean demons." Tanjiro explains.
"I want to fight demons." Libranyan was about to touch the sword but Tanjiro stopped her.
"Sorry, Libranyan. Is dangerous and you too young." He said.
Libranyan got angry, "I want to train!"
Tanjiro got nervous to think is just a tantrum, "Libranyan, is a dangerous business. You know how much trouble I had to defeat the special demon to make Nezuko back into a human."
"No! I want to prove I can be strong like mommy! She has powers, daddy has powers, my uncles have powers, even brother and his friends have powers! I never have powers because they said I'm young... I want to fight!" Libranyan shouted.
Nezuko felt sad from Libranyan's response and look at Tanjiro, "Mmm..."
Tanjiro sighed, "We had to talk with the master."
"Master?" Libranyan look confused then hear a panicked voice.
"Tanjiro!" It's a yellow-haired guy and behind him is a guy in a boar head.
"Zenitsu! Inosuke!" Tanjiro tried to say something but Inosuke shouted at him, "Where have you been!? You ran off to look for a demon!? I can do better than that!"
"Yeah, we don't want to lose you when we already lost Rengoku..." Zenitsu cried.
Tanjiro looks confused, "Well... I saved a cat."
Inosuke and Zenitsu look at Libranyan for a moment then they screamed in horror.
"Demon!" Zenitsu called out.
"Must kill it!" Inosuke tried to get out his swords but Tanjiro stop him.
"She's not a demon! She's a cat!" He said.
"It could be a cat in disguise!" Zenitsu screamed, "it could hurt Nezuko-Chan..." he pats Nezuko in affection.
"I'm not a demon... I'm a Yokai." Libranyan replied.
"Yeah if she's a demon, she would have a scent but she didn't," Tanjiro said.
The guys stopped panicking and listen to Libranyan's story as they're walking.
"Poor little girl... don't worry your parents will come and find you." Zenitsu pats Libranyan.
"Yeah but I want to be like you guys," Libranyan replied.
"Look kid, that because you a yo-yo or whatever that not mean you can get yourself hurt," Inosuke said.
"It's Yokai, you pig head.." Libranyan growled.
"I'm not a pig! I'm a boar!" Inosuke shouted.
"Whatever I'm sleepy..." Libranyan said. Then Nezuko holds her then shrinks herself into a child. She took Libranyan inside the box and Tanjiro laughed, "I think she invited you to sleep with her."
"Oh... okay..." Libranyan yawned then she went to sleep along with Nezuko.

Sometimes later, Libranyan woke up from a bump and look at Nezuko who is still sleeping. She peeks out the door a bit to see Tanjiro talking with a few people and look like they're mourning a bit. Libranyan slowly got out of the box and shut the door that made a few of the people notice her.
"Um... hi." She said nervously.
"Aw, what a cutie." A girl with a butterfly barrette squealed.
"She might be a half-demon or something." A guy with cuts said as he was about to put out his sword. Libranyan got scared but a guy came in front of her to protect her. Is a brown long-haired man with different eyes and half his face is purple?
"Hello, Master Ubuyashiki." Tanjiro bows down, "This is Libranyan who is lost and she said she wants to be a demon slayer..."
"Yeah... I want to be like my family who has powers and fight." Libranyan explains.
Ubuyashiki stared at Libranyan for a moment and pats her on the head, "You have a strong spirit as a mysterious ghost. I let you train with Shinobu and Tanjiro will help you out."
"Really?" Libranyan gasped.
"Yes," Ubuyashiki replied.
The demon slayers are hesitant at first of letting a young girl train but they didn't protest their master.
"Thank you so much." Libranyan bows down at the master. Shinobu came and hold Libranyan's hand to take her to a place to train.
"Come along, sweetie." She said. Tanjiro grabs his box and follows them.
Later they arrived at a mansion which has butterflies flying around in the yard. Libranyan look around but she saw a young girl holding one of the butterflies.
"Tanjiro, who is this pretty girl?" Libranyan asked.
"Oh, that's Kanao Tsuyuri. She's Shinobu's sister." Tanjiro replied.
"Is she your girlfriend?" Libranyan asked. Shinobu heard it and stared at Tanjiro but she still smiling.
"Uh.. moving along!" Tanjiro pushes Libranyan as he blushing.
They arrived inside and see Zenitsu and Inosuke training in the backyard. She saw Kanao coming in and smile at Libranyan.
"Alright, Libranyan. I must warn you, it's very hard." Shinobu warned, "But we can help all the way, and then you will be on Final Selection if you ready."
Libranyan put her game face on, "Let's do this!"
"Alright..." Tanjiro sweated.
"Let's have a montage!" Libranyan shouted and Tanjiro is more confused.

Libranyan came outside in the break of dawn wearing a yellow kimono then she charges to start her training. She starts using a stick to practice her arts and a younger girl with butterfly barrettes watches her using her moves. Then that night, Libranyan lifts as many rocks as she can and she is determined to keep going. Inosuke and Zenitsu watch her doing it as they prepare to go to bed.

The next day, Libranyan runs kind of fast all over the backyard to tag Kanao but she trips and fell on her face. Then, she practices her breathing techniques with Tanjiro, then using her arts to practice her moves, then doing push-ups. At sundown, she has gotten tired from her usual training then the three little girls with butterfly barrettes came up and give her tea and bread. She ate it and drink the tea very quickly and she got up like she was full of energy.

That night, she use a stick to use her arts with but with more strength than ever. Shinobu watches and felt impressed with how she does it. Libranyan then focuses on the rock and with this stick, she slammed it with it and then it split in half. She dropped it and sigh in relief.

(End of Montage)

"Good job, Libranyan!" Tanjiro said as he went to her. Libranyan then fainted from her training.
Later at night, Libranyan woke up in a room and Nezuko watches her, "Nezuko! What happened?"
Nezuko gave Libranyan a bag of bread, "Mmm..."
"Thanks..." Libranyan sighed as she got tired of eating bread but ate it anyway. Nezuko then took the bread and hold it with her mouth.
"Oh come on!" Libranyan whines, "Where's Tanjiro?"
On cue, Tanjiro came into the room and holding something, "Hi Libranyan!"
"Tanjiro, what is it?" Libranyan asked.
"Is your training sword. You might need it when you are ready for Final Selection the next day." Tanjiro replied and show a small sword.
"But Tanjiro... I just training and don't think I'm ready..." Libranyan felt down.
"I think you are. You have been training for 2 days that is surprising that you never tired until now..." Tanjiro chucked.
"2 days!? I thought it a week?" Libranyan is shocked.
"Well my training is 2 years but since you're a child, you're a fast learner," Tanjiro replied.
Nezuko spotted Dusty hopping around and she hopping around with her as Tanjiro and Libranyan watching the stars.
"Tanjiro, right as you talk to the demon slayers, you mentioned Ren...Goku?" Libranyan asked and saw sadness all over Tanjiro's face.
"Rengoku is one of the demon slayers with a flaming heart and smile. He was also strong as well. But he died because of that coward of a demon..." Tanjiro explained with tears in his eyes.
"I'm sorry... if I saw him he would be impressed on what I did..." Libranyan hugs him.
"I know..." Tanjiro pats her.
Libranyan then yawned, "So sleepy..."
"Alright, we can train a bit more and go to Final Selection." Said Tanjiro. They turn to saw all the bread is gone and Nezuko is holding the last of the bread.
"Looks like she craving bread." Tanjiro chuckled.
"Nezuko!" Libranyan groans.
"Mmm..." Nezuko looks confused to think she doesn't want bread.

Tanjiro: I'm surprised that a child can have enough energy to do all that training.

Nezuko: Mm!

Libranyan: Hey is all a blur to me. To think a montage 4th wall could make it better.

Tanjiro: Oh... makes sense I guess...

Libranyan: Well is time for a Dimensional-Era Secret Headcanon, when I was sleeping, I can hear Tanjiro keep mentioning his girlfriend, Kanao.

Tanjiro: THAT'S NOT TRUE!

Libranyan: Heh... it could. Anyway guys I got to practice before the big test. I heard is very hard but I will do my best!

Tanjiro: Uhh you might need better sword...

Libranyan: Anyway, Chapter 8: Brand New Oni. Let's see what that Oni girl is.
