"What in all the fucking bullshit is this?!.

Drakkin and Trinity woke up to hearing Nokken's voice booming through the room. This causes them both to jump awake. Trinity looks around the room and sees empty snake venom bottles on the floor along with some clothing. "Fuck," she says and looks up at Nokken and sees the hurt and anger in his eyes. This causes Drakkin to get up, and when he does, he sees he is half naked. He grabs the sheet from the bed and covers himself. "It's not what it looks like, bro." He says, holding the sheet with one hand and holding his other hand up. Nokken lunges towards him, causing Trinity to jump back. "You mean to tell me you have her in your bed NAKED, and nothing happened?" I told you if you touched her, you would eat your fucking dick, Drakkin!" Nokken yells at his best friend. Feeling nothing but hurt and betrayal.

"What, she is still a virgin? I didn't fuck her; she just showed me how good her mouth is after I showed her mine." He chuckles, rolling his eyes at Nokken, whose face is getting redder by the second. "I can't fucking do this," Nokken says, walking out. This causes Trinity to jump up and get dressed and follow him.

"Nokken, wait!" she yells at him, and he just ignores her and walks out of the compound. She stands in the middle of the compound watching Nokken walk away from her. This is the first time she has ever felt really hurt from him ignoring her, but she feels like this time it's actually her fault and she deserves it. "Hey, he will get over it. We didn't do anything wrong; we just had some fun," Drakkin says to her. When he says that she felt a little hurt, is that all she was to him—fun?

"Are you fucking kidding me? Is that all it was to you, just fun? I tell you I'm still a virgin and never even kissed a guy. Oh yeah, on top of that, I let you go down on me, and I'm just fun. Your best friend is hurt over what we did. You can't tell me you didn't know he would react this way," Trinity says and starts to walk away, but Drakkin stops her by grabbing her arm. "Oh, and by the way, if you claim you didn't, you're a damn liar. What did he mean when he told you before, If you touched me, you would eat your dick?"

"Don't put this all on me, Trinity. It was fun, yes, but you wanted it as much as I did." Drakkin shouts at her. She recoils back some due to him yelling at her. "Yes, because I wanted to experience what it felt like to be touched before I died, and I knew Nokken would never do it." She shouts back and walks away before she could see Drakkin's reaction, knowing she hurt him.

She runs back to the palace and hurries to her room to get cleaned up before going to search for Nokken. Once she enters her room, she sees a note on her pillow. "God, not again. Can't this creep take a hint?" She says as she opens it.

Princess, you were a bad girl last night, and because of this, your fairy will pay the price. I told you that you are mine, and I don't like waiting. But I also don't like to share.

As Trinity reads this, she feels nothing but dread and fear; her blood turns cold as she clenches the note in her hand and runs out of her room to find Nokken. She rushes down the stairs, ignoring anyone who passes her, and out the front door of the palace. She stops in the pathway that leads to the palace and yells his name. "Nokken," she shouts as she looks for him, but she doesn't see him. She starts running to the training field, thinking he would be there, but doesn't see him. She does see her father and uncle, so she runs to them. "Hey, princess," his father says as he stops in front of them. She leans forward, resting her hands on her knees, out of breath. Once she has caught her breath, she stands straight up. "Have you seen Nokken?" she asks with panic lacing her voice. His uncle and dad look at each other. "No, is everything ok?" Her uncle asks.

She shakes her head no, trying to hold back her tears. "Hey, what's wrong, kiddo? Her uncle asks, and Trinity brings her hand up unsteadily and gives him the note. "I think he's in danger, and it's all my fault," she says, crying as they read the note. After they read the note, her father walks up to her and grabs her face. "Don't worry, we will take care of it. Plus, Nokken is a very powerful fae; he can take care of himself." Her father says. This makes her cry even more. "Yeah, but if I hadn't slept with Drakkin, he wouldn't have gotten mad and wouldn't have taken off," she rambles off quickly. "You what?" Her uncle and father say at the same time. She realizes what she said and shuts her mouth. "You slept with Drakkin," her father says in anger. "Brother, I am going to skin that damned brat! He will never be able to feel anything in his hands again, and he will lose his fucking ability to even get hard, let alone use that damn thing!"

"Well, not technically; it was more so oral. But that doesn't matter. Nokken is missing and in danger; we need to find him. You can yell at me later," Trinity says as she backs away to go look for Nokken.

Trinity takes off running to the woods; she can only think of a couple of places he would be. One by the cave that she came through the first time and the other being the pond where he busted her practicing her powers. She runs to the cave, and he's not there, so she heads to the pond, and again he's not there. She starts to get discouraged as she starts walking away, but as she walks further down the bank of the pond, she sees Nokken sitting under a large willow tree. She sighs in relief and runs to him. As she runs up to him, she sees him holding a piece of wood, carving it with a knife. "What do you want, half-breed?" he says, not even bothering to look at her. She doesn't react to his attitude towards her because she knows she deserves it; she is the one who caused the mess. "I wanted to talk to you but also to get you somewhere safe because you're in danger, and it's all my fault." She says, trying to get him to look at her. He scoffs and goes back to carving into a piece of wood.

"Nokken I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to happen, but it did," she starts to say, and Nokken interrupts her. "Exactly, it did happen. Dammit, Trinity, you slept with my best friend knowing that it would kill me. Knowing I can't be your mate, and neither can Drakkin, but you still slept with him anyways." Nokken! she shouts. As he is yelling at her, she starts to cry. "Yes, I still did, but we didn't do anything but mouth-fuck each other. I am still a fucking virgin. Nokken, does that make you happy?. I only did it because I wanted to know how it felt to be touched by someone before I die. God!" Trinity yells and pulls at her hair in frustration. This causes Nokken to stand up and grab her hands; he wants to know what she means. He looks at her with confusion. "Die, what are you talking about?" he asks her. "Nokken I'm not going to go to the vampire. There is no way in hell I will take him as a mate. And I'm never going to find my second chance mate or whatever he is. I am supposed to feel a pull towards wherever he is, and I feel nothing. The only place I want to be is here, so he must not exist. So when the vampire comes for me, I'm not holding back. I'm going to fight until I can't anymore and do whatever I can to help kill him. I refuse to be used in his sick, twisted games, so that's what I mean before I die." Trinity answers. Nokken shakes his head. "No, you're not going to give up. I won't let you. I need you to be alive. It doesn't matter if you're not my mate; I need you to be here in some form or another with me. I can't picture a world without you in it." Nokken says, taking her face in his hands as he slowly brings his mouth to hers. She leans in to kiss him, but before they can, something magical forces her back. She goes flying into the tree next to the willow. She crashes into it with a thud and lands on the ground. "Trinity!" Nokken yells as he watches her lying limp on the ground from the force she was thrown with. He looks up and sees two witches and two vampires walking up to him.

"Now, now, Nokken, don't you know not to touch things that aren't yours?" the witch says in a sing-song voice, like she is taunting him. And that was when he knew this was the dark witch Ambrose. "Ambrose," he says, and she squeals. "Ah, so you do remember me." She says, all excited, like she just won a million-dollar prize. He walks up to them slowly with his guard up and ready to fight. "What do you want?" He asks them, moving in front of Trinity, he's not going to let them anywhere near her. The vampire comes rushing at Nokken with such speed you wouldn't see him if you were human. Nokken stops him by grabbing him up by his throat and slowly melts him with one touch. His hand starts to glow a bright light that is like the sun to a normal person. The vampire screams in agony as he slowly dies. "You want to play? Let's play," Nokken says, motioning for them to come at him as he drops the dead vampire. One of the witches comes after him with a lightning bolt. He brings up his hand to deflect it with his own. But it hits his shoulder due to being too late.

The other vampire comes at him as Nokken is distracted by one of the witches and knocks him to the ground. As they are fighting, the vampire is able to gouge a deep slice into his shoulder. Blood seeps from his wound as his arm hangs limp at his side, and he struggles to push himself up onto his knees as a deep, pain-filled scream erupts from his lips.

Trinity starts to come around as she hears Nokken screaming. She slowly stands up and almost falls but pushes herself up. She notices the back of her head is bleeding from the blow, but that doesn't stop her; she goes after the vampire that is attacking Nokken. "Hey, bloodsucker, want a taste of me?" Trinity yells, and this catches his attention. He sniffs the air, and he catches the sweet honey scent coming from Trinity's blood. He drops Nokken and goes after Trinity, grabbing her by her throat as he stops in front of her and goes to bite into her neck, but Trinity stops him from doing that by catching him on fire with just one touch to his head. Once he's gone, Nokken sees blood coming from Trinity's nose, and he yells at her to stop, but she doesn't listen; it's like she is in some kind of trance.

Nokken gets up and goes after Ambrose before she can attack Trinity. He shouts a ray of light, and it hits her but doesn't knock her down, just barely weakening her. Ambrose calls out to her powers, and a dark mist comes out from her hands and feet, and Nokken can't defend it off; it wraps around him, and as it does, he feels a thousand volts of electric current going through his body. "Nokken!" she cries as she sees him drop to the ground. She already killed the other witch as Nokken was fighting Ambrose.

"The king said your fairy was going to be ended; you should have taken the warning. The next time you see me will be the day you join us." Ambrose says as she vanishes. Trinity rushes over to Nokken, who is lying there lifeless. She cradles his head in her lap. "Nokken!" she screams, trying to wake him up. As she sits there on the ground, she hears someone yelling. "I found them. Get Sonia now." She does have to look up; she knows it's Drakkin.

Ignoring Drakkin, she puts her hands on Nokken's chest and starts pushing energy into him. Drakkin stands there shocked at what he is seeing. As he watches Trinity's body glow brightly and Nokken's lifeless body elevate off the ground. "Drakkin, stop her. She is killing herself." Alaric shouts as he runs to them. Drakkin turns to face Nokken and Trinity again and sees blood not just running out of her nose but also out of her mouth as well. "Trinity, you have to stop," he says, walking up to her, but he is flown back by a force of energy he never felt before. As Trinity tries to heal Nokken, she feels something snap into place; it's like a rope connecting her to Nokken. That's when she realizes she's found her true mate. He has been right in front of her the whole time. She hears a panicked gasp, and once she opens her eyes, she sees Nokken's eyes open and staring at her in concern. She collapses instantly once she is certain he will be ok. Her body falling limp against Nokken.
