Nokken leaves Trinity with Sonia and heads to the king's private chambers. He knows that at this time of night he won't be in his office; he will be with the queen, sitting in front of the fire as she reads to him. He walks down the south wing and stops in front of two wooden doors and knocks.

"Enter," he hears the king say in annoyance. He opens the door and walks in. "Nokken, what can we do for you?" The queen says, smiling at the head warrior. "Sorry for bothering you. I know this is your time together, but it's urgent," he says, standing straight with his hands behind his back. "Trinity has somehow managed to come back. And she was attacked by a drunk Elemental Fae. I have Drakkin lock him up in the cells. Also, I may or may not have lost control and beaten him to a bloody pulp." He says quickly.

"What do you mean, 'back and attacked?" He hears both the king and queen shout at once. Nokken looks at the king and has to cover his eyes some as electricity starts to spark all around his body as he shakes with rage. The queen walks up to him and gently puts her hand on his shoulder. "Calm down, dear," she whispers to him.

"Calm down! Some bastard attacked my niece." He shouts. She sighs; she understands his anger. She is angry that someone would put their hands on her. "First we need to figure out how she remembered this place and how she got back. The man that assaulted her is locked up; we can deal with him later," Alina says to her husband. The king shakes his head and walks out the door and heads to the office.

Once they arrive at the office, King Alaric uses his magic to contact his brother Alester. He writes on a piece of paper informing him that Trinity is back and they need to get here right away. After he writes it, he folds the paper in three and holds it in his hands, and his hand starts to glow a golden light, and the paper turns into an owl. "Go to Alester in the human realm." He says to the owl.

" What do we know? Do you know how she got here?" Alaric asks Nokken.

"No, I don't know how she got back. I wasn't able to ask after I rescued her; she passed out on the way back here. I saw her at the tavern, but she got upset over a misunderstanding and ran off." Nokken says. He goes to give more information but is interrupted by Drakkin walking in.

"The fae is locked up. Also, Sonia wants the king and you right away." Drakkin says. Nokken takes off before Alaric can get up. He runs to Trinity's room and walks in without knocking. "What's going on?" He asks as he tries to catch his breath as King Alaric rushes in behind him.

"Good, you're both here. We have a problem. Trinity's life is in danger." Sonia starts to tell them. This causes Nokken's heart rate to pick up. "What do you mean her life is in danger? What's going on?" Nokken? asks Sonia.

"She's time jumping, and her fae magic isn't fully awakened. Due to this, her life force is weakening, and it's draining her. If her fae doesn't fully awaken, she will be dead in a couple of months tops." Sonia says. As she speaks to the king, Nokken Trinity's parents walk in.

"How do we awaken her fae magic?" Charity asks, and this causes the others to turn and face her. "She needs to find her other half, her mate." Alester, he says, looking at Nokken instead of his wife. He knows Nokken is his daughter's mate; he has seen the signs, but he was hoping he wouldn't ever need to worry about it after he took her back home to the human realm. But Trinity escaping back here answered his suspicion without a doubt. This man who held a knife to his wife's throat twenty-six years ago is his daughter's mate.

"How are we supposed to find her mate?" Nokken says she dreads the day when she finds him but also wants her to find him right away because he never wants to imagine a world that his fiery half-breed isn't in.

"That is up to her and to her mate. Only they will know, but they won't know until they kiss." Mercy the white witch says as she walks into the room. "How is it you always show up at times like this?" Queen Aliana asks as Mercy sits in the chair across the room. "I just know when you lot need answers." She responds to Aliana.

"Explain how she didn't forget about this place." And how she ended back up here." Alester asks, pissed off, how again his daughter ended up in danger because of this place.

"It's because she is half fae and a gypsy healer. It would have worked if she was full Gypsy, but because she is also fae, it wasn't going to work, so I never gave her the potion to erase her memories. Now, about her mate, we can't interfere. As much as I want to help her, I can't, but what I can do is put a protection on her that will stop her from time jumping, but it won't stop her from using what powers she does have access to. But do not let her heal anyone before her fae side is awakened. If she heals anyone before finding her mate, it will kill her or come close to killing her." Mercy says. As she is explaining everything, Nokken can feel his heart break more and more as he looks over to Trinity. He can only imagine how Alseter and Charity are feeling right now, knowing their daughter could die.

" I can't listen to this anymore. You won't help us save her; it's pointless for you to be here." Nokken says and walks out to head to the cells. As he heads to the cells, Drakkin catches up to him and walks up beside him. "Man, I know the news we just got is upsetting, but you need to calm down before we get to the cell, or you might end up killing Jonah." Drakkin says.

"Fuck him; he would deserve it!" Nokken growls, wanting to take his anger out on the man some more. He needs an outlet for his emotions, and this is all he can think of: watching the man bleed like he did to her.

As they make it to the cell, Nokken sees the man chained up in silver, knowing this weakens fae, and he gets more excited. "I'm sorry, Nokken. I won't touch her or anyone else, for that matter. Please let me go." He whines, looking at Nokken, and this makes him pleased to see the damage he caused to this bastard for touching Trinity without permission. "You're sorry. Man, you haven't even gotten the worst of it yet. Not only do you have to deal with my rage, but wait until you see the wrath from not only the king. But what her father, the Prince of Darkness, is going to release on you." Nokken says as he walks over to the fae with a flame that is dancing in his hand.

Once the fae hears of the return of Prince Alester, he starts to pull and tug on his restraints, his face draining of all color. "Please! No! I will never drink again!" Everyone knows the stories of the Alester and how he turned a whole village into nothing but ash when the previous king and queen were killed. Not only did he turn a village to ash, but it's told that he ate the hearts of the ones who killed his parents, along with hanging the wives and children of the enemies and draining them of blood.

Nokken stands there bouncing the flame in his hand up and down, taunting the man in chains. He knows he can't throw it at him because if he does, it will kill the man, and this guy needs to suffer a long, painful death.

He puts the flame out and grabs a dull blade and walks up to the man and slowly drags it across his face. As the dull silver blade drags across his face, it slices through his skin, and it causes the veins in his face to turn black. He thrashes and screams as the Nokken is putting small cuts in his skin.

He puts the knife down, bored with cutting him. He chooses to pick up where he left off earlier and starts using his fist. He brings his fist up, and it connects with the man's face. He does it a couple more times when he hears the king walk in. "Nokken, that's enough," the king says, walking up behind him.

The king takes over, not only hitting him but also electrocuting him. After a few more blows, he walks out of the room. " He's all yours, brother; make him suffer." He says to Alester. This causes him to grin, and the grin is so sinister it scares Nokken because he knows what's about to happen, and he doesn't want to be in here when it does.

"Nokken, we need to talk about your behavior." The king says, turning to Nokken as Alester walks into the cell.

"There is nothing to talk about. I'm just doing my job, which is to protect the crown, which means Trinity also." Nokken says and walks away.

"Keep lying to yourself, friend" the king mutters to himself and shakes his head as he watches his best friend and head warrior walk away. "Alester is going to flip shit over this."
