The palace was jumping and celebrating the coronation of the new king and queen. Everyone was laughing, dancing, and eating. Nokken stands up from his throne and puts his hand out for Trinity to take his hand. Trinity smiles and puts her small hand into his and stands up. Nokken smiles and follows him out to the dance floor.

Nokken pulls her body against his as they dance around the floor. Nokken leans into her ear to speak. "Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight?" Nokken asks.

As Nokken speaks to her, Trinity shivers in delight. "Yes, you have, but I don't mind hearing it again." She says with a smile on her face.

Nokken laughs and shakes his head. "I will tell you every day until I die. If it makes you happy, my queen." He says before he leaves a feathery kiss on her lips.

Trinity puts her head on Nokken's shoulder as they dance some more. After a few more songs are played, they decide to go back and sit down, but instead of sitting on the thrones, they walk over to a table and sit with their friends and family.

"Drakkin, How do you feel about becoming my second in command and taking over the warriors?" Nokken asks his best friend.

Drakkin looks at Nokken with pride in his eyes. "I would love to." Drakkin says.

"It's settled then; we will have a ceremony for you next week." Nokken says as he stands up to shake Drakkin's hand.

As they shake hands, a loud explosion is heard, and the doors to the ballroom come off. Everyone ducks, and you can hear screams happening from all around them. Trinity looks around and sees her mother and father holding Amara and Kelsey. She gets up and runs over to them.

"Get the babies out of here now, go!" Trinity shouts to her mother as she hands her the ring that opens a portal. Her mother looks at her daughter with panic in her eyes, wanting to argue with her about leaving.

"Go now," she shouts before she runs over to Nokken.

Nokken looks at his wife with worry showing on his face. He doesn't want her to be here, but he knows there is no point in fighting with her, as she is a very stubborn woman. Everyone is running in different directions, and Trinity walks to the entrance of the palace. She sees Orion out in the courtyard with a sadistic grin on his face.

Trinity rips the side of her dress to give her more room to move. She looks around and sees all the warriors already fighting. She looks at Nokken and shakes her head, and they both run out to join the fight.

Eliza catches everyone by surprise as she closes her eyes, and when she reopens them, they glow a shade of a brilliant light blue. She raises her hands into the air, and a swirling mist forms above her head, moving with the directions of her hands. As she lowers them, aiming them towards Orion and his warriors, the water droplets shoot out towards them like bolts of water. As they connect to the vampires, they start to burn, looking like they are decaying on contact.

Trinity runs towards Orion but is stopped by some of his men who are protecting him. Trinity narrows her eyes at the group of fighters as she clenches her hands while a silver shimmering glow forms. "Move out of my way. Only warning, assholes." She spits at them.

Seeing that they don't seem to be willing to move, a grin forms on her lips. "Good, I wanted the fun way anyways." With that, she throws her hands towards them and watches as the silver glow shoots towards them, piercing into their bodies, before she clenches her fists and looks like she yanks them back towards her. As she does this, all of the men in front of her drop to their knees, crying out in pain as they start to desiccate. The silver glow recedes towards Trinity, pulling a dark purple mist from each of them.

Once the mists seem to fully be drawn out, they all crumble, each turning into a pile of dust. "Aw, I thought they would have put up more of a fight."

Nokken and Drakkin are fighting with a couple of men as they make their way towards Trinity and Eliza. Their goal is to keep them away from the two women as much as possible. As they finish off the last two men, an arrow goes flying through the air and hits one of the vamps in the heart. Nokken turns to see where it came from, and he sees Eliza's mother and Mercy up on the balcony with bows in their hands. He shakes his head at them smirking and turns back to the battle.

"Man, you assholes had to interrupt dinner. Now I'm pissed!" Drakkin shouts as he puts his fist into one of the vampire's chests and rips his heart out. The vampire drops to the ground as Drakkin crushes his heart in his hand. "Who's next? "Come on, don't be a bitch," Drakkin yells.

This causes more to charge at Drakkin and Nokken. "Let's finish this," Nokken says as they charge towards the vampires as well.

Trinity finally makes her way to Orion, and she grins at him sweetly. "Nice to see you again, princess," Orion says to her.

Trinity rolls her eyes at him in response. "It is not princess anymore, assface. It is, Queen, and I didn't miss seeing your ugly mug not one bit." Her eyes flash with warning as she narrows her eyes at him.

"Trinity!" Nokken yells as he and Drakkin are still separated from her and Orion by a horde of vampires. Fear and worry fill his eyes as he watches Orion charge at her.

Trinity narrowly dodges the first strike from Orion, resulting in a small slice tearing through her dress, leaving a clean cut along her thigh. "Going to have to do better than that, you fucking bastard." She growls before launching herself at him, landing a few solid hits on him before he manages to grasp her neck, slamming her to the ground. A shrill cry of pain escapes her lips as her head connects with a rock, splitting open her skin.

Orion laughs menacingly as he leans over her, his fangs bared at her bare flesh. "Oh, like this. I told you I would have you eventually."

As he lowers his head towards her, she reaches up, grasping at his face as her hand starts to glow red. As she touches him, she leaves a scorching red mark across him as he howls in pain, jumping back and releasing her.

Nokken sees red as he watches Orion attack his wife. He charges through the horde of vampires with his sword that he had attached to his side. He slices through them like butter, causing them to drop as he goes. Eliza sees her best friend fighting Orion as she is dropping vampires left and right. She loses focus as she hears Trinity cry out in pain. This causes the vampire she is fighting to have the upper hand. He knocks her to the ground and bites into her shoulder. Eliza cries out in pain. And as she does this, a bolt of electricity shoots out of her body, and the vampire turns to ash.

"Eliza," Drakkin shouts as he runs to her and helps her up slowly.

"I'm ok," she says as she turns away and sees the only vampires left are Orion and a group that is surrounding Nokken.

Trinity shoves herself back up onto her feet, a trail of blood running down the side of her face from her hairline. The impact from hitting her head causes Trinity to stumble some as she walks towards Orion to finish him off.

"Trinity!" Korey screams as he rushes to her side with a few scrapes on his figure.

"What the fuck, Korey! Where have you been?" Trinity snaps her eyes, flicking from her twin back to Orion.

"Oh, you know I just had to take the opportunity to get laid when I had it." He smirks. "I mean, that healer Sonia is pretty appetizing." He winks at her before lowering himself into a fighting stance beside her.

Trinity loses all focus on the fight before her as she turns her head fully to her brother. "What the actual fuck? Please tell me you are not serious!"

"What? About getting laid, of course not. I was with Mom, making sure the babies made it to safety. Now, if we are talking about Sonia looking delicious? Maybe I am being slightly serious there." He laughs before grabbing Trinity's wrist and yanking her to him, pulling her out of the way of a blast Orion aimed at her. "Enough, we need to focus."

Trinity and Korey hold each other's hands as Trinity feels a rush of energy surge through her. She lifts her free hand and focuses on pulling energy from her brother as they both become enveloped in a blinding crimson light.

The rush of energy causes Trinity's hair to raise and flutter around her as if she is caught in the middle of a swirling gust of wind. Her eyes flicker red as they focus on Orion as if she is now in a trance-like state, and the ground around everyone starts to tremble and shake. Cracks and fissures start to form in the ground as Trinity takes a step towards Orion; her free hand rises in the air, clenching into a tight fist as the ground beneath Orion crumbles away, turning into a wide pool of molten lava.

Orion screams in pain as he feels his insides start to melt. Slowly his screams turn silent as his body completely melts and turns to nothing but ash. The only evidence that anything ever transpired there is a blackened circle as the ground closes back up, leaving a barren, onyx-like scar on the ground.

Trinity releases her brother's hand and starts to sway from exhaustion. Nokken rushes to her and catches her before she falls to the ground. He picks her up and carries her bridal style into the tent that Sonia and the seers set up for injured warriors.

Once he makes it to the tent, he lays her down on the cot, and Sonia rushes over to check her over.

"I'm fine; I don't need to be checked over. Go take care of the others." Trinity says as she pushes Sonia's hand away from her head.

"Always so stubborn." Sonia mumbles under her breath as she looks her over.

"You need to get looked at, love; you have gashes on your head and leg." On top of that, you and Korey used a lot of energy to finish Orion Off." Nokken says

"Then why don't you just heal me like you did the damn bird! There are people who need treatment worse than me right now!" Trinity snaps. "I am no more important now than I was before. Just because I am now the queen does not mean my needs are greater than theirs! Sonia, go take care of the ones more critical than me!"

Nokken chuckles at his stubborn woman and does what she tells him to do. He places his hand on her and focuses on the wound on her head as he pushes his energy, and a white glow comes from his hand. Trinity can feel the warm glow coming from Nokken's hand as he closes the wound on her head.

Once Trinity was taken care of, she gets up and walks out of the tent and looks around at the damage that was done due to the battle. "This is going to take a long time to heal from." Trinity says, looking around at everything.

"But we will do this together." "Nokken," he says as he grabs her hand in his.
