Eliza steps through the portal and watches as it closes. Once she knows it's closed, she rushes inside the palace. As she runs through the entrance, she bumps into Charity and Alseter. "Wait, how?" She mumbles in surprise, seeing them there. "Eliza, what's wrong?" Charity asks, seeing the fear and worry on her face. "Someone broke into your house. We heard shouting. Trinity sent me back to get help; she thought you were in danger." Eliza rattles off as Alestar and Charity rush off through a portal that she didn't notice was even there. "Go get Alaric and Nokken," Charity shouts as the portal closes. Eliza runs up the stairs, taking them two at a time, but trips at the last step. She picks herself up and rushes down the hall towards the office. She ends up knocking over a few maids as she runs. "Sorry," she shouts over her shoulder.

She makes it to the office and doesn't bother knocking. "Eliza, what are you doing here?" Alaric asks, standing up. Nokken turns to look with a smile on his face, but it drops when he sees the look on her face. "Where's Trinity?" Nokken asks but falls to the ground holding his head. "Nokken, what is it?" Alaric asks, but Eliza answers for him. "It's Trinity; she's in danger. And she is also pregnant. I- I'm so sorry, Nokken. She made me leave. I didn't want to, but she said to come here and warn you. She said she can protect herself but not me and her parents also. Somehow they tricked her into thinking that they were attacking her parents, but all she cared about was me and the baby." Eliza says, panicking, "You're pregnant?" She hears a deep voice that has some kind of effect on her body. She knows that voice anywhere.

"That's not the point right now," she shouts at Drakkin. Nokken manages to get off the floor and rushes out of the office. He takes the portal ring that Mercy gave him out of his pocket and puts it on his finger and turns it twice counterclockwise, and rushes through the portal with Eliza Drakkin and Alaric following behind. They arrive at Charity and Alester's house and rush through the door and stop when they see how disarrayed the house is. They walk further into the house and find Charity crying over a puddle of blood. Nokken stumbles and almost falls to the ground, but Drakkin catches him.

The array of emotions swirling within Nokken feels like a sucker punch to the gut. All he wanted to do was give her the bit of freedom she enjoyed and let her spend time with her best friend, who just found out she was pregnant. Now he finds out that not only is Trinity pregnant, but she has been attacked in her family's home in the human realm, where she is supposed to be safe. Their family home is a wreck; there is blood left behind and no signs of Trinity. Too many emotions swirl within him as he grips his head—frustration, anger, fear, rage, concern, and regret—all of them causing his stomach to knot up as his chest constricts, making it hard for him to breathe as he sags against his best friend's chest. "This is a fucking disaster; this has to be a nightmare; it can't be really happening." He mutters under his breath, his eyes bearing a wild look within them. " I can't sense her. She has to be in the supernatural realm; she's not here." Alester says as he walks over to his wife and helps her off the floor. "Find my baby, please. Find my grandbaby and bring them home, please." Charity cries.

Seeing his sister-in-law breaking in front of his eyes causes something to awaken inside Nokken. He turns to walk away and ends up putting his fist through the wall. One punch Two punches. "This can't be happening." Nokken shouts over and over as he continues to put his fist through the wall. "Nokken, that's enough," Alaric shouts as he pulls Nokken away from the wall. Nokken starts yelling and fighting against Alaric, trying to break free. But Alaric doesn't let him go; he just holds him as he breaks down.

Drakkin comes over and stands in front of them and watches as his best friend and the strongest man he has ever known breaks down. Finally he stops fighting and slumps into Alaric's arms and just cries. He cries for the only person he has ever loved and cries for his unborn child. "Let it out now. Because in about five minutes we are going to head back to the palace, and we will be making a plan. Trinity needs you at your best, Nokken. Your baby and your wife need you, so get it out now." Alaric says as Nokken continues to cry. Hearing Alaric's words brings him out of it. All he needed was to be reminded that his wife and baby needed him, and it snapped him out of it. He makes Alaric let him go, and he stands up, wiping his face and taking a deep breath before he turns to look at his in-laws. "I'm sorry, Alester. Once we get her back, I will fix this." He says.

"No, don't worry about it. Let's focus on getting Trinity home." Alester says as he walks by and puts his hand on Nokken's shoulder for a minute and then walks past him. Charity walks up to Nokken and grabs his hand and looks at it. "Yep, definitely broken," she says before she puts her other hand over top of it and closes her eyes. Nokken looks down to see what Charity is doing and sees her hand glowing white as he feels heat spreading through his hand and up to his arm. After a couple of minutes, she lets go of his hand. " There. Now that's better. Can't have you going to war with one good hand now, can we?" Charity says with a sad smile on her face. "I will bring them back. No matter what, Trinity and my baby will come back alive, even if I die in the process." Nokken, says Charity. After that, Nokken turns to Alaric and Alester and looks at them before he walks out the door.

He walks out and sees Drakkin and Eliza yelling in the middle of the yard. He walks over to them, and he catches what they are fighting about. "You are going to stay here or go to the palace, but you are not going with us to rescue Trinity. I won't allow it. You and that baby you're carrying are going to stay out of harm's way." Drakkin yells at Eliza. "No, I'm going with you. She is my best friend and wouldn't have been taken if I had left. I could have saved her, Drakkin; I could have helped her." Eliza shouts back at him. Drakkin groans in frustration and runs his hand through his hair. "No, you couldn't have, Eliza! Now you're going to stay put, so help me God, I will lock you in the dungeon if I have to. You aren't going with us." Drakkin! he shouts. This time Eliza doesn't say anything; she just walks away with tears falling from her eyes. Drakkin watches Eliza walk away, and he sighs. He doesn't care if this makes her hate him more than she already does. All he cares about is that she is safe along with their baby, no matter what anyone thinks; he has begun to fall in love with that timid and saucy seer. Nokken can see it in Drakkin's eyes when he gets closer to him.

"You really do care about her, don't you?" Nokken asks, looking at Drakkin. "Yes, more than you know. I wasn't lying, man. I do care about her... Fuck, I think I love her. Can you believe that? Me loving someone other than myself? Man, I have become one of those guys." Drakkin says, chuckling at that. "Welcome to the club," Nokken says with sarcasm lacing his voice. "Let's go get your wife and kill some leeches while we're at it." Drakkin says, To Nokken as he opens the portal with the others following behind. "There's one leech I want to kill right now, and that's Zane. I want to know why he didn't warn us this was going to happen." Nokken seethes as he walks through the portal.

They walk out of the portal and head to the warrior compound to come up with a plan to get Trinity back. "I want Mercy and Zane here now," Alaric yells at one of the guards as they walk into the compound. "Yes, sir," the guard responds back and takes off outside. "Everyone gather around." Nokken's voice booms throughout the lobby of the building. Nokken motions for Alaric to speak. "Sometime this evening, Princess Trinity was kidnapped from her family home in the human realm. She also is in a derelict condition." Alaric booms as he speaks. "What kind of condition is she in, sir?" Kevin shouts out, asking. "She is pregnant," Nokken chokes out as he forces himself to answer. A few of the men and women look over at Nokken with pity and anger in their eyes. The rest look at him with determination in their eyes, like they were ready to cause a bloodbath to get their princess back. They might have only known about her for a few months, but they all love and respect her. They all would die for her.

As King Alaric goes over everything and asks for volunteers, the guard that was sent out to get Mercy and Zane comes running in. But what he has in his hands has everyone standing in shock. "Sir, I can't find Zane, but Mercy is dead," he stutters.

"Oh my god." Eliza cries out as she covers her eyes by hiding in Drakkin's chest. Drakkin wraps his arms around Eliza protectively as she cries. "I want Orion and Amberrose's heads on a stake." Alaric seethes as he walks out of the Compound lobby and out the door.
