The character is stabbed, shot, or just close to death. Dying in the arms of their lover or best friend, have the dying character smile while the other is in tears. The character says something witty or sweet or clever about the situation, providing comic relief.
  The loved one lets out a saddened laugh and cracked the smallest smile as the character releases their last breath.
