Act 5: Koga Fizzleweedo
Through the forest they went following a green lizard and Two felt like she was searching for Waldo all the time and finding it like a level ten sort of game than a level one. It didn't help that Dr. Lorkhead constantly tried to talk to Genji while she was trying to use the Translation Earphones, but soon they came up behind a large totem pole.
"This is the clock," Genji said, pointing up at the giant totem pole. It was most certainly a clock—a clock totem pole with clocks of all sizes one on top of the other in a tower. Here, Two could feel the time changing all around her and the patch of sky right above the totem pole was changing rapidly from day to noon to night.
Two saw two men in on a little silvery plate on top of the totem clock tower and suddenly Dr. Lorkhead gasped and told them to hide.
"What's wrong?" Jarid said but did as he was told only to echo the gasp. Two could see him, too. Beyond the field of the totem pole, coming through the trees was none other than—
"Koga Fizzleweedo!" Genji squeaked and Two put her finger to her mouth telling him to be quiet. But the lizard had just freaked out. He dropped his Translation Earphones and actually ran out into the field calling, "Koga Fizzleweedo, Koga Fizzleweedo!" over and over.
"Mitsuketa! (I found them!)" he said. "Soko! Soko! (There! There!)" he said over and over and Two could see he was pointing to where Two and Jarid and Dr. Lorkhead were hiding. Suddenly, the spiky-haired, greenish-skinned, magnified-eyeballed, Coger Fiskleweed took out a weapon that Two recognized as the Instant Changer Randomizer and it's many clock-shaped dials and antennae sticking out. He messed with the dials and shot a purple and orange laser at Genji who instantly changed into a man while running.
He stopped running to examine his human body fully clothed in a smart black suit. "Modotta! (I'm back!)"
Dr. Lorkhead said to Two, "He said he's back. I think he had been human to fool us into thinking we had met Coger Fiskleweed's experiment."
Two scowled. "Smart."
"Indeed," came Coger Fiskleweed's scratchy and thin magnified voice into her ear. He had been using his Eavesdropping Maxifier which he stole from Dr. Lorkhead before he was captured. Obviously, not in prison anymore.
"Do you want to know how I escaped prison? It was easy. I had a mini version of my Instant Changer Randomizer and turned into a pigeon. They let me out. You should be more careful, Two Three."
"Leader?" Jarid said to her and Two's mind was whirring with ideas. Unlike the talking eagles, unlike the sharkpeople that were bullying the merpeople, unlike any of the other villains they had captured or made better, Coger Fiskleweed was one of the smart ones.
It was understandable considering he was from her school. He wouldn't know though, because she had entered years after he left. Two knew a few dropouts from her school that took Creativity too far.
"I finally have time in the palm of my hand!" He said and laughed with his head back. "I now have all the control I have ever wanted!"
Two stood up. Jarid looked worried, but she shook her head. "Plan A," she said and walked out of the hiding spot. Dr. Lorkhead was already gone, knowing what she meant. She was going to try to buy time until Dr. Lorkhead could come back with her thing for her plan.
"Dr. Fiskleweed, it has been a long time since I saw you," she said with a smile, holding up her hands to show she had no weapons—except for a little Rubick's Cube which was really a last resort to use against him because it would also blow her identity.
Coger Fiskleweed laughed at her appearance. "Looks like she's been through a crash! Did you enjoy the water? Okinawa is nice now that it's never summer!"
"What do you plan on doing with all this time?" She stopped to stand across the clearing as the totem pole revved up like a motorcycle and the sky turned to broad daylight in a matter of seconds. The sun beat down on her like the middle of summer, but then she shivered when it began to snow.
Coger Fiskleweed cackled. "Make people buy time from me. I will be rich and rich and so rich!" he said.
Two shrugged. "But what would you do with all the money? People who can't buy time from you like poor waitresses can't get food for you. What about farmers? They can't afford to buy time. You can't do that."
"Oh, watch me, haha, get it? Watch me?" He pointed to the sky and it turned black and there were no stars. "I won't need that because all the time is mine and I can create a new time and put everyone in there and only take them out when I need them. All humans will be my slaves!"
Suddenly, Genji began to cry out of the blue. His human body had started to shrink and turn green. He was turning back into a lizard. "Koga Fizzleweedo! Nannde modosuno? (Why are you changing me back?)"
"Mou iranai. I don't need you anymore. Katchi ga nai. You have no value. Rizado ga niatteru. A lizard suits you more. Yume wo misete agetadake. I just let you be in a dream." Coger Fiskleweed said at the same time translating all the Japanese so Two could understand. It was a nice gesture which was strange because he was a villain.
Genji ran back to the hiding place crying lizard tears which were green for some reason. Two stretched her arms out and flicked her fingers as casually as she could. Coger Fiskleweed was too intent on laughing about Genji to notice Two's plan which was good.
Over their heads whizzed by a machine that Dr. Lorkhead made called the Reflect-nything which reflected back any kind of thing that came at them. He had done it in a matter of minutes which was only possible because time didn't work the same in the field as the beach front. Two knew this and told him in a whisper while they were in the jungle.
Satisfied, she grabbed the weapon out of the sky and aimed it at Coger Fiskleweed. "Why don't we have a duel with my handy dandy Electrofier24?" She said and he laughed, ridiculing her by copying her pose.
"Why not? We have all the time we can get."
"On a count of three, one—"
"Three!" he said and blasted the Instant Changer Randomizer before her count, but Two was prepared. She blasted the Reflect-nything just in time and it reflected the purple and orange lasers back to him.
"Pickles!" he said as he began to turn into a cat. Quickly, Two ran over and grabbed the weapon from his now furry hands that couldn't grip the handles. "You, you!" he said in a hiss and then his voice became squeaky and then all he could say was "meow". Two set the Instant Changer Randomizer on "permanent" and on "cat" and blasted it on him for extra effect.
"Meow!" Coger Fiskleweed said.
"Jarid! The Animal Translation Device please," she called and Jarid came running up timidly like he was afraid of a cat. Actually, she remembered, he was afraid of cats. Well, she shrugged, that's fitting.
She put the translator on Coger Fiskleweed—more like Cougar Friskyweed—and set it to translate. "If you don't tell us how to stop the clock and put everything back to normal, I will put you into a cage with water all around forever. If you tell us, you can live in a normal cage forever. Which do you want?"
"Fine. I hate water. The latter. Hiss, hiss, meow, meow, a cat would've been better for you." Because she had the translator earphones in her ear only, Jarid couldn't understand the meows. Besides, he had gone back to the hiding place already.
She bent down to use her Capture Net, when Coger Fiskleweed meowed, "I see your Rubick's Cube. You're light years and years away from home, aren't you?"
Two didn't gasp because she heard Jarid coming up to her. "Put it in the net quick, and let's go put everything back to normal." Nodding, she took the translator away and netted him, stuffing him violently into the cat carrier that Dr. Lorkhead made out of parts from other things.
Now time could run as normal, but Two wasn't sure if her time would ever be normal again now that she knew Coger Fiskleweed knew they were from the same place.
"Boku wa? (What about me?)" Genji squeaked up at her and she sighed. He had betrayed them, but he wasn't bad. So, she changed him back and asked Dr. Lorkhead to give him a Language Pill for three weeks so he could absorb English faster than the normal speed. She hated using the Translator Phone because it hurt her ears.

Back in the Headquarters they were finally after Genji helped them catch a plane to New York. They then took a taxi all the way back to the neighborhood and walked to Headquarters from there. The waterfall was still running upwards as always, and the cogwheels were turning the air into battery power. With a flick of a switch on the outside rocks, the holographic illusion crumbled to reveal the real house.
Two liked it here, but Coger Fiskleweed made her remember home again and she was becoming more and more homesick, but she had to stay here a little longer. Shoving the meowing Coger Fiskleweed into the dungeon and putting a Padlock Robotic Soldier to guard, Two headed up to the living room to find Jarid talking with Genji using the Translator Phone.
Now that she had the chance to glance, Genji looked like he was about the age of Jarid, maybe older. As if that mattered to her, she sighed.
"Arigato," he said to Two as he headed upstairs to a room she rationed out for him. That word she understood and she bowed her head and he returned it with a smile. She noticed for the first time how strangely green his eyes were. Japanese didn't have green eyes. Well, he wasn't evil, so maybe it was contact lenses, she guessed.
"Leader?" Jarid said as Dr. Lorkhead came into the living room.
Two nodded her head. "Mission completed!"
Although Jarid and Dr. Lorkhead smiled, Two couldn't help but wonder if it really was completed. They still had Cougar Friskyweed (renamed much to his displeasure) to deal with and Genji's green eyes were strange. And, why was he there on the island in the first place? The island, as she later found out, was an uninhabited island which was part of Okinawa but not the main island.
Strange, she thought to herself and sat in her chair. Outside was night, as it should be, and the stars made her ache for home which truly was light years and years away as Cougar Friskyweed said.

Note: So, what do you think Dr. Lorkhead's first name should be? ;) He still has none :P
