AN UNKNOWN blonde continues breathing heavily as she looks around the abandoned building preparing for her escape after a teenage girl was killed by the alpha pack.

She looks around with fear in her eyes as she hears a clicking sound walking alongside the floor of the building.

She inhales as she watches a woman help the unknown injured teenager escape on her motorcycle.

Taking that as her opportunity to escape she makes a run for the main entrance door and sprints down the street towards an oncoming truck.

Jumping into the bed of the vehicle breathing erratically and putting her hand to her chest controlling her breathing.

"Breathe Miah. You're fine. You're out of danger for now." the girl says to herself as her breathing becomes controlled as the truck pulls into the hospital parking lot.

She jumps out of the back and runs into the entrance asking the brunette woman at the desk if a teenager came in for injuries.

The nurse looks at her with pity and shakes her head as the emergency doors open startling the two, she sighs seeing the teenage boy and woman being wheeled in from the ambulances.

The curly headed teenage boy looks at her and softly nods thanking her silently for helping him escape with the woman behind him on the gurney being wheeled down the hospital hallway towards the operation room.

The blonde girl turns towards the nurse who was talking to the boy and woman before the paramedics took over, "Are you okay?" The woman asks.

Miah nods and smiles, "Yeah. Thank you. Just waiting to hear if that boy is okay." Miah explains as the nurse nods politely before walking away from the blonde.

Miah sits on one of the chairs in the waiting room, smiling politely at the nurses and doctors passing by as she waits for news on the injured boy and girl.

Not really understanding why she's sticking around wanting to see if they're both safe, stuck in her own thoughts she doesn't notice the nurse from earlier walking towards her.

"Excuse me sweetie?" the nurse says gently not wanting to frightened the girl who's staring at the ground below her, Miah looks up at the brunette nurse.

"Are they okay?" Miah asks, the nurse nods and smiles, "My names Melissa. That boy is looking for you, his name is Isaac." Melissa explains.

Miah nods and follows the nurse towards the room Isaac is currently in, "Is she here?" Isaac asks as Melissa enters the room.

Miah follows not long after smiling at the injured and healing boy, "I'm here." Miah states.

Isaac lets out a sigh of relief seeing the blonde girl is okay from the werewolves, "I'll leave you two be." Melissa states walking out to the room.

"Thank you for saving me." Isaac says in a whisper, Miah smiles softly, "Of course. You didn't deserve those things the pack was doing to you." Miah responds as Isaac looks at her figuring her out.

"You're not a werewolf are you?" Isaac politely asks, Miah shakes her head, "Nope. I'm a mage hybrid." Miah answers the boys questions.

"My names Isaac, by the way." Isaac says holding his arm out towards the girl to shake her hand, "My names Miah." Miah says smiling shaking the teenagers hand.

"Have you heard anything from the doctors about the girl?" Isaac asks as Miah looks around the hospital room after feeling a familiar presence.

"I haven't no. I have to go." Miah rushes out of the room leaving the boy confused at her sudden departure.

Miah rushes into the room holding the girl after feeling the presence of the alphas, she looks at the injured girl on the hospital bed.

The girl gasps awake feeling someone in the room, "Oh hey." the girl weakly says still groggy from her sleep and breathing deeply from her nightmare that startled her awake.

"Hi Brae." Miah whispers, Braeden weakly smiles at the blonde, "You okay?" Braeden asks.

Miah nods smiling softly, "Thanks to you. Isaac's okay as well." Miah explains as Braeden nods understanding.

Miah smiles as she says her goodbyes to Braeden unsure if she'll see her again.

Braeden waves as the teenage girl exiting her room, Miah sighs knocking on Isaac's room once more seeing Melissa checking the boys wound over.

"Am I able to come in?" Miah asks the nurse as Isaac starts nodding seeing the pretty blonde again.

Melissa smiles and nod's motioning for the girl to come inside the room.

Miah enters sitting beside Isaac, Melissa continues taking the bandage off Isaac's torso.

Melissa looks at Miah unsure if she knows before looking at Isaac for approval silently, he just nods.

Melissa sighs, "Yeah. Yeah, that's healing. Visibly," Melissa says as the scratch marks are healing.

"They can't see this. Nobody can see this." Melissa states, Isaac looks at the doorway where nurses are passing, "All right. Cover it up." Isaac whispers.

"I don't think that's gonna matter. I mean you're scheduled for surgery. Which is obviously gonna be very confusing for a lot of people." Melissa nervously stammers putting the bandage down.

"Okay, can you do something?" Isaac asks as he grabs Miah's hand wanting comfort.

Miah squeezes the boys hand, "Me do something? I'm relatively new to all of this. And there's a Sheriff's deputy that's stationed right outside the door." Melissa states.

Miah looks at the woman with sympathy, "Have you tried calling Derek?" Isaac asks, "Like, five times." Melissa states sighing.

"Do you have any other emergency werewolf contacts?" Melissa asks.

Isaac looks at the nurse, "Yeah. Call Scott." Isaac says making Melissa sigh.

Miah notices the tenseness of the woman thinking Scott might be something to her.

Isaac looks at his bedside towards Miah, "Scott's her son." Isaac states seeing the blondes confused glance.

Miah looks at the boy with a shocked expression nodding, hearing the sheriff outside the room talking to Melissa about Braeden in the next room over and suggesting she answers a few questions.

The girl just sighs before looking at Isaac with a soft expression, "Who's Derek?" Miah curiously asks.

"Derek Hale. He's an alpha. And the man who bit me." Isaac explains, Miah smiles hearing the name.

"Oh. I know Derek." Miah reveals earning a shocked and confused glance off Isaac, the boy doesn't want to pry though as to how Miah knows Derek.

Isaac eventually falls asleep leaving Miah looking around the room, before getting up slowly not wanting to wake the boy─ before he goes into surgery.

She re-enters Braeden's room noticing the woman's worried face, "We need to get out of here. The alphas are here." Miah says in a rushed tone, noticing that Braeden has already taken out her drip.

Braeden nods slowly already knowing they were here, Miah looks out the doorway feeling a certain woman's presence coming towards Braeden's room─ she helps the injured girl walk out into the hallway quickly hiding away from the alpha woman.

Miah sighs as they lean against the wall, "You okay Brae?" Miah asks holding the woman up so she doesn't fall.

Braeden nods before tiptoeing in the direction of the hospital's exit, Miah lets the girl go off by herself before she's startled by a hand landing on her shoulder.

She looks behind her shoulder, realising it was the alpha Isaac was talking about, "Miah?" Derek asks confused at seeing the teenager in Beacon Hills.

"Hi, Derek." Miah smiles launching herself into his arms, the alpha smiles softly hugging the blonde who he looks at as a younger sister,
"What are you doing here?" Derek asks with frowned brows.

"My parents died. Natalie offered for me to live with her and Lydia, got half way to their house. The alphas kidnapped me wanting me to kill three teenagers. I helped one escape." Miah explains in a rushed whisper as Derek looks at the girl chuckling at her blabbering.

"I'm glad you're here, moon." Derek says after a while, "Me too Der. Can't believe you're an alpha." Miah states wide eyed.

The alpha chuckles again before realising why he was at the hospital in the first place.

"I know we hate to separate usually, but I need to get Isaac out of here." Derek explains beginning to run off in the direction of his scent only for the mage hybrid to run beside him.

"I'm helping. I have you now." Miah states nodding as the two run towards the elevator.

The mage hybrid and the alpha hear grunting coming from the elevator and press the button.

"Don't you realize what you're dealing with? I'm an alpha." Ennis snarls at the boy he's currently choking, the doors of the elevator eventually open as a ding in heard.

Derek puts his claws into the man's back, "So am I." Derek states throwing the werewolf out of the elevator and down the hallway, Miah knocking him out with her chaos magic in the process.

Scott looks at the two relieved to see Derek but looking at the gorgeous blonde girl who's looking at the alpha with an angry expression.

The elevator doors close and Derek turns towards the heavily breathing boy, "Aren't you supposed to be in school?" Derek asks raising his eyebrow.

Scott looks at the alpha and breathes out, Miah looks at the boy with realisation showing on her freckled face.

"Oh my god. You're Scott!" Miah says as she looks at Isaac making sure his okay.

Scott looks at the girl confused at how she knows who he is but looks at how she's looking Isaac over and checking for more wounds, that he probably told her about him and politely nods.

Miah smiles before looking at Derek, "You taking him home?" Miah asks Derek who nods wheeling Isaac out of the hospital towards his vehicle.

"You want to come?" Derek asks seeing Miah looking around, "Nah. I should probably head to Natalie's and explain why I'm three months late." Miah explains.

Derek hugs the blonde girl and tapping her back, "I'll see you soon?" Derek asks hoping to see more of the mage hybrid.

Miah nods and smiles, "Of course." Miah states walking off, Scott looks at Derek confused.

"Who's that?" Scott asks watching Miah's departing figure.

"That's Miah." Derek states allowing Scott to come with him as they set off for their destination, "You hugged someone." Scott says shocked.

Derek rolls his eyes at the beta annoyed, "She's like my little sister. Of course I hugged her." Derek states arriving at the old Hale house.

Miah knocks on the front door of Natalie and Lydia's home hoping for an answer, the front door opens revealing a strawberry blonde with a shocked face.

"Oh my god. Miah?" Lydia happily screams attacking her cousin in a massive hug, "Lyds." Miah smiles happily.

"I missed you." Lydia states letting the blonde into her house, that's now officially her house as well.

"You're so gorgeous." Natalie says from behind the girl, "Aunt Nat. Hi." Miah says nervously before seeing the relief on the woman's face.

"I'm so glad you're safe." Natalie says into the blonde girls hair, Miah nods finally feeling at home with her aunty and cousin.

"Oh my god, Memi. We have to talk." Lydia states hooping her arm around Miah's careful of the bruise she got earlier today from an unknown girl, the girls laugh as they walk upstairs entering a bedroom.

"This is now your bedroom." Lydia states smiling, "It's gorgeous." Miah says looking out the huge window her bedroom has, Lydia smiles.

"I picked in out for you. I know how much you loved looking out of your bedroom back in Washington with your parents." Lydia says sadly.

"Thanks Lyds. It's perfect." Miah says not wanting to cry in front of her cousin.

Lydia watches the girl look inside the closest where her clothes are sitting─ she looks at the strawberry blonde confused.

"Mom had your things flown in two months ago. We never stopped looking." Lydia explains.

"I was taken by alpha werewolves Lyds." Miah reveals while Lydia looks at the girl in fear and sympathy.

"The alphas?" Lydia asks, Miah looks up realising Lydia and most likely her friends know about the supernatural.

"Wait until you meet Allison. She's gonna love you." Lydia changes the subject after a while of silence, "I can't wait to meet her and make new friends." Miah answers.

"You should come with me to her apartment later. We're picking out a colour for her wall." Lydia suggests.

Miah looks at her cousin, "I don't want to intrude." Miah says biting her lip.

"Of course not. You're coming." Lydia states making Miah smile remembering how demanding Lydia was in the past and realising the girl hasn't changed much.

Both teenagers sit on Miah's bed talking about the past few months, Lydia explains how she finds dead bodies and how Allison is an Argent and an huntress.

Stiles and Scott are best friends and that Scott is also a werewolf alongside Isaac, Derek and a psychotic Peter who used her for his resurrection, that her ex boyfriend was a kanima and now lives in London away from the trouble in Beacon Hills.

Miah explains some of her past and how finding her parents was the most hardest thing she's ever done─ after three hours of catching up together.

Miah states she's gonna shower before they head over to Allison's apartment which Lydia nods and leaves her bedroom.

Miah sighs entering the ensuite of her bedroom, turning the shower on and washing her body, hair and shaving and waxing her legs making herself feel comfortable and clean once again in her own skin.

After a relaxing ten minute shower she gets out putting on jean shorts and a tight crop top and a white cardigan over the top of it.

Just in time hearing Lydia knock on her bedroom door asking if she was ready to go.

She smiles and nods, as the strawberry blonde and blonde girl set off for the Argents building.

DEREK CARRIES Isaac inside the burnt Hale house, finding things to heal the boy from the inside from the alpha's claws.

As the teenager grows curious and asks who the alpha was back at the hospital.

Derek explains that it's a rival pack and it's his and Miah's problem as she escaped the pack previously.

Scott then asks the man to help him burn his tattoo into his muscle, as Stiles arrives.

Derek looks at the tattoo with his red eyes asking what it means and Scott explains he got the tattoo for himself and not talking to Allison all summer, explains how the hurt of their break up feels like an open wound.

Derek eventually nods having Stiles hold the werewolf down, he explains that the pain is going to be out of this world, which Scott agrees to.

Leaving the beta unconscious from the pain─ waking up to see his tattoo burnt into his skin.

Scott and Stiles begin to leave the old Hale house but Scott realises the doors been previously painted, growing curious again he asks the alpha in the opposite room why he painted the door flicking his claws out and scratching the paint off.

Derek rushes towards the door but is too late as Scott tears the pain off revealing the alpha pack symbol, Scott begins figuring the pattern out, and asks how many there are.

Derek reveals it's a whole pack of alphas leaving the two confused and terrified.

Derek begins explaining to the boys more about the pack and how there's a leader called Deucalion, unaware of the girl that saved Isaac and knows Miah is being attacked by the alpha pack they're currently talking about.

Derek soon explains that himself, Isaac and Peter have been trying to find the missing teens Erica and Boyd for the last four months.

Scott then asks how you deal with an alpha pack and Derek responds with all the help he can get.

He then explains that Miah─ the girl that was at the hospital earlier and his non biological sister was taken by that alpha pack─ and she'll know help them as well having escaped the hell of the beats, at the mention of the girl.

Stiles frowns confused never hearing of the girl, Scott mumbles he'll explain things later before looking at Derek once more accepting he'll help alongside Stiles.

Isaac wakes up from his anaesthetic from the hospital confused and groggy not seeing the girl or Miah anywhere.

"Where is she?" Isaac asks as the three notice the werewolf is awake─ looking at him confused.

"Where's Miah and the girl?" Isaac asks holding the side where his wound is healing on the inside, Derek looks at Stiles and Scott confused.

"What girl?" Derek asks, Isaac explains that there was a girl alongside Miah who helped them escape.

"Miah's fine. She's with her cousin and aunt." Derek explains hoping the girl is safe wherever she is, "Who is Miah's family?" Isaac asks the alpha.

"Miah Martin. Cousin to Lydia and niece to Natalie," Derek explains, "The rest isn't my story to tell." Derek states.

Completely unaware that Braeden's in the locker room at the high school being targeted by the alpha pack.

Braeden whimpers seeing Deucalion walk closer, "Beautiful but defiant, aren't you? Just like Miah." Deucalion says touching the girls face.

"Because I know something. I know you're afraid of them." Braeden says meaning Scott McCall and Miah Martin.

"Of a teenage boy?" Deucalion asks amused, ignoring the girls comment about them, "Of the man he'll become and the woman she'll become." Braeden states looking at the blind alpha.

"I'm aware of a certain potential threat. But, then, someone once taught me a very smart way to eliminate a threat get someone else to do it for you." Deucalion smugly says, "Derek." Braeden realises.

Deucalion leans down closer to the girl, "As for sweet little Miah. She'll learn soon enough. Everyone will fear her." Deucalion utters silently admitting to himself he's also scared of her.

He then proceeds claw Braeden's neck leaving the girl bleeding and dying in the high school's locker room.

Allison welcomes Miah with open arms hugging the blonde, "Cousins? Oh my god." Allison says cheerfully at having another girl friend, Miah smiles and nods.

"Also a mage hybrid." Miah explains, Allison looks at the girl with a sparkle in her eyes admiring the girl and nodding over towards Lydia who's getting the samples out of their packets.

Holding colours to the wall, as more and more options go up on the wall, both Lydia and Allison smile at one another seeing Miah sitting on the bed of Allison's admiring the colours.

Lydia holds a pink sample paper on the wall, "This one. It's perfect." Lydia states as Miah and Allison tilt their heads.

"Mmm. I don't know. I'm still thinking maybe a shade of blue?" Allison says holding up a light shade of blue sampling.

Miah smiles, "Why not mix them together and see what colour comes out? Or go with blue. That's pretty." Miah says shrugging.

Allison smiles at the blonde who's yawning realising how tired she is.

"You can have a nap if you want?" Allison asks motioning towards the pillows.

Miah nods laying her head on the brunettes pillow letting sleep flood in.

Allison and Lydia look at the girl and sigh, "She'll be okay Lydia." Allison says noticing the worried look coming from Lydia.

"What if they come after her again?" Lydia asks scared of losing her cousin.

Lydia holds the sampling against the wall again as Allison notices the bruise on their wrists.

"Lydia, look." Allison says putting her wrist closer to Lydia's which makes a symbol of some sort, the two teenager girls look at one another realisation on their faces.
