ALLISON, MIAH and the others rush over to the Argent girl's apartment after Mr Argent didn't answer his phone.

Miah grew dizzy feeling like something or someone was draining her energy.

The pack thought it would be best to separate and meet Allison and Isaac at the brunette's apartment to see if Chris Argent is okay.

After getting out of the elevator and seeing bloody handprints on the walls and the door handle leading into the Argent's apartment.

Scott frowns before standing in front of the girls protectively incase something jumps out at them.

Miah gasps alongside Allison as they notice Mr Agent on the floor just inside the apartment unconscious.

Allison and Miah both hurry towards the girls father and look at his wounds and also make sure the male has a pulse.

Allison sighs in relief before hearing pained groans coming from the man on the floor who squints at the blonde and brunette leaning over him.

Mr Argent grunts sitting up and motioning towards his office so he can explain what happened knowing what the teenagers are at the apartment for.

Miah sits beside Scott and Isaac leaning against the desk, "There was something almost ritualistic about it. Like it was looking right into his soul." Mr Argent explains.

Allison starts wiping the wound of his forehead, "That's the same thing it did to me." Isaac states, "That's what they did to everyone." Allison says still focusing on her fathers forehead.

"Not everyone. They only came after the werewolves." Scott says, "And Lydia." Miah states, "Anyone with a connection to the supernatural." Chris explains.

"Then who was the guy they went after in Japan?" Isaac asks confused.

"A Kumicho. A Yakuza boss," Chris states before looking around at the three teenagers sitting on the opposite side of the desk.

"It was my first gun deal. I was only eighteen, and it was supposed to be a simple exchange. Except Gerard left out the minor detail of the buyers being Yakuza. He wanted to see if I could adapt in the moment, testing my ability to, uh... improvise." Chris says.

"Or, your ability to survive." Allison suggests, "The moment the sun came down. It was like they just materialized out of the shadows, they had swords. Not curved like katanas, but straight, black steel, like ninjas." Chris explains remembering his first deal.

"What did they want?" Scott asks, "To get to the Kumicho. They cut down every living thing in their way." Chris states.

Isaac looks at the older man, "Did they mark him like they did us?" Isaac asks feeling the mark behind his ear, "Not exactly." Chris mumbles looking at the beta werewolf.

Chris then goes into detail as to what happened with the deal that happened years ago and how a man turned into a beast with razor sharp teeth and the creatures pushing their katana's into the beasts chest and torso leaving the explosion of blood over the flowing fountain below him.

"What was he?" Miah asks curiously leaning into her boyfriend's side.

"I don't know. But, there might be someone who does. There were a few others who survived that night. One of them was a man named Katashi," Chris states looking at the mage hybrid.

"They called him 'Silverfinger' because of an unusual prosthetic and it looked like he was getting ready to take them all on himself." Chris states remembering the man standing in the position ready to fight the ninja like creatures.

After a while of Allison putting the stitches into her father's forehead the argent girl finishes and leans beside her father listening to him.

"I've known for a while Katashi was in the country. I spent yesterday tracking him down." Chris explains, "Didn't look like he wanted to be found." Isaac states pointing at the injured man.

"Not particularly. No." Chris says shaking his head, "You think he knows what they are? Or what they want?" Scott asks curiously, "Maybe." Chris shrugs.

"What if he doesn't want to talk?" Allison asks, "What if he doesn't even remember you?" Isaac asks adding onto the questions.

"He'll remember this." Mr Argent states opening up the box on the desk showing them one of the broken masks covered with the gentle material.

Miah raises her brows shocked at the sight before looking at her boyfriend who also has the same facial expression on his face.

Mr Argent looks at the shocked looks coming from around the room, "I know I didn't kill it. I'm not sure you can. But, I slowed it down long enough for us to get out of there." Chris explains.

"What was behind the mask?" Scott asks, "Darkness. Absolute darkness." Chris mutters.

While chills run down Miah's back leading her to flinch from the sensation getting a look of concern from Scott and Isaac beside her.

"You kids should get home. I understand it's been a long night." Chris starts.

Miah yawns from exhaustion nodding at her best friend's father.

AFTER BEING dropped home from the news Chris dropped on them earlier.

Miah lies on her bed thinking about the conversation Kira and her had when Scott and her dropped the Yukimura girl home.

"You okay?" Miah asks worried that the friend group and herself and Scott have scared the girl, "So, all of your friends are..." Kira nods before asking.

Miah nods, "Yeah." Scott states, "And you're a..." Kira starts looking at the new couple, "Yeah. We are." Scott mumbles.

"Can I see?" Kira asks looking at the blonde mage hybrid more so, "You sure?" Miah asks wanting to make sure she won't scare the girl even more, "I'm sure." Kira nods.

Miah flashes her blue werecoyote eyes and Scott flashes his alpha red ones at the stunned brunette who smiles at the couple happily before nodding at them and leaving them at Scott's motorcycle as she returns inside safely away from the darkness around the town.

THE NEXT morning, Miah wakes up seeing Lydia at the end of her bed smiling at the sleepy blonde, "Lyds? What's up?" Miah asks confused.

"You and Scott are dating!" Lydia screeches out of excitement for her cousin.

Miah chuckles getting out of bed and changing into her clothes for school and walking out of the house beside Lydia ready to meet her boyfriend and friends after last nights crazy adventures.

"You okay after last night?" Miah asks, "As fine as I can be I guess. Just worried about you now Memi." Lydia states.

"I'll be fine Lyds. Don't worry." Miah states as the two Martin's pull into the school's parking lot seeing Scott taking off his helmet with the twins beside him.

Miah walks up seeing Scott disappointed look, "You guys going to be doing this all day?" Scott asks smiling seeing his girlfriend waiting for him.

"All day." Ethan nods, "All night." Aiden states, "Is this about being in my pack?" Scott asks not amused.

"This is about you and Miah being the target of demonic ninjas." Aiden states looking at the blonde mage hybrid standing in front of them.

"You mean... the demonic ninjas that pulled swords out of their chests and completely kicked our asses?" Ethan sarcastically asks looking at his twin brother.

"Yeah, those demonic ninjas." Aiden states sarcastically, "I don't need anyone to protect me. And I'm pretty sure Mi doesn't either." Scott states looking at Miah nodding at him.

"They were looking right at you both when the sun came up." Ethan states, "And they also disappeared. Argent thinks that they could just come out at night." Miah says joining the conversation finally.

"Since this is our first experience with demonic ninjas. We're thinking we should play it safe." Ethan explains looking at the frowning blonde.

"All day." Aiden repeats looking at the true alpha and mage hybrid, "And all night." Miah and Scott both confirm.

Scott gets off his motorcycle walking towards his girlfriend, "Hey, Mi." Scott whispers pecking the girls lips smirking at the feeling, "Hey handsome." Miah says.

Scott looks around noticing Miah doing the same knowing they have to go and meet up with Stiles somewhere.

"Okay. One thing first. We need to talk to Stiles and let him know everything that happened last night. Without you." Scott states putting things into his locker.

"No." Aiden scoffs, "Uh. Yes." Miah states, "And I don't want you listening in. No wolf-hearing." Scott states, "How would you even know?" Aiden asks frowning.

"I'm a true alpha and Miah is a mage hybrid. You have no idea what we can do." Scott shrugs seeing Miah's smirk behind his back before turning around and walking off towards the classroom to meet Stiles.

"Hey S, you okay?" Miah asks noticing the frantic book first, "Hey Mia. No I'm stressed. But here come on," Stiles rambles and both Scott and Miah nod following behind the Stilinski boy.

Stiles leads them into the classroom, "So then. She starts talking about phosphors and the key having chemicals on it, right? And so that made me think of the chemistry closet. And the fact that someone had to let Barrow in," Stiles rambles before seeing the writing on the board gone.

"It's gone. Okay, it doesn't matter though. It doesn't matter. I've still got the key." Stiles mumbles before realising the key on his keychain has also disappeared leaving Miah looking at her new friend worriedly.

"What the hell?" Stiles frowns, "I had it. I had it here. I had it here this morning. I swear to god... I had it this morning." Stiles states.

"The key you were talking about last night?" Scott asks holding Miah's hand, "Yeah. I showed it to you, right? Didn't I show it to you?" Stiles asks looking in between the couple.

"No. You just told me about it. I never actually saw it." Scott states.

Miah nods agreeing with Scott, "I was here a couple hours ago and the message left to Barrow spelling Kira's name was right there on the board in my handwriting. And the message to kill Miah... and I had the key to the chemistry closet." Stiles states.

"So, you unlocked the chemistry closet so Barrow could hide in it from the cops, and then you wrote him a message to kill Kira and Miah?" Scott asks slowly.

"I know how it sounds. But look at this," Stiles states pulling a piece of paper from his pocket.

Unfolding the piece of scrunched up paper, "This is the news report that came out about Barrow when they caught him, okay? About the shrapnel bomb that he used. See this? See what he did? He put nuts, bolts, and screws. And then he hid the bomb and the detonator in a box that he wrapped as a birthday present. What does that sound like to you?" Stiles asks looking at the couple.

"Coach." Scott states in realisation, "The joke we played on Coach." Miah confirms.

"That was my idea. You remember? That was my idea. That's no coincidence. It can't be." Stiles says panicked.

"I don't want to sound like I'm trying to tell you that you're wrong but I don't think you're trying to kill people, either." Scott states, "It was here. It was all here." Stiles whispers tearfully.

"Dude, are you feeling okay? You're looking really tired." Scott asks gently.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I just haven't been sleeping... really." Stiles shakily replies.

"Why don't you go home? Take a sick day, or something?" Scott suggests.

Miah looks at Stiles, "Yeah. Come on. I'll drive you home... we'll take your jeep." Miah suggests looking at her boyfriend who nods grateful for his girlfriend's kindness.

Stiles nods and Miah kisses Scott before walking out of school with Stiles, "Where do you wanna go?" Miah asks taking the jeeps keys from him.

"Can you take me to Melissa at the hospital please?" Stiles shakily asks, "Of course S. Come on." Miah gently says starting the vehicle and driving the two towards the hospital.

"Thanks for this Mims. You didn't have to leave Scott." Stiles says, "It's no problems Stiles... at all. I'm always here for you." Miah smiles gently pulling into the hospitals carpark and helping Stiles into the building looking for Melissa.

Miah steps into the bathroom after Stiles finds Melissa to call Scott about meeting him at his house, "Hey gorgeous." Scott says answering the phone.

"Hey baby. I'll meet you at your place later?" Miah asks looking up from exiting the bathroom seeing Melissa smiling at her leading Stiles into a private room.

"I'll come pick you up from the hospital Mi. I'll see you soon." Scott says.

"Oh don't worry about that. Your mom's here and I'll get a lift back to yours with her. She's in on the plan. See you soon." Miah states hanging up the phone and knocking gently on the private room door seeing Stiles nodding at her to enter the room.

"Hey Miah." Melissa says smiling at the blonde again before turning back towards the panicked Stiles on the hospital bed, "Do you wanna tell me some of your symptoms?" Melissa asks

"Blackouts but not for that long and sleepwalking. Which I used to do a lot as a kid. Um... I'm also having some really bad anxiety." Stiles explains.

Miah grabs a hold of his hand gently, "Panic attacks?" Melissa asks, "Yeah, a couple. Oh, and I temporarily lost the ability to read. But that might have had more to do with this giant magic tree and the whole human sacrifice thing." Stiles says earning a smile from Melissa and Miah.

"I remember something vaguely about that. Yes." Melissa nods before looking back at the sheet of paper in her hands, "How many hours of sleep are you getting?" Melissa asks.

"Eight." Stiles states, "A night?" Melissa asks, "In the last three days." Stiles states as Miah looks at him shocked.

Stiles counts on his fingers, "Yeah. Definitely eight." Stiles nods, "Been feeling irritable?" Melissa wonders, "Yeah. Possibly to the point of homicide." Stiles states.

"Inability to focus?" Melissa asks and continues asking questions as Miah holds Stiles's hand for the support and comfort.

Melissa nods pulling out a needle from her pocket.

"Uh. What's that?" Stiles asks, "Do you trust me?" Melissa asks, "When you're not holding a needle." Stiles mumbles nervously.

"It's midazolam. A sedative." Melissa explains giving Stiles the shot in his upper arm, "Why'd you give me a sedative?" Stiles asks.

"Because you, Stiles. Are one profoundly sleep-deprived young man. You need rest and you need it now." Melissa states.

Miah gets off the bed and gently begins placing him on the bed in a lying position, "Lie down. It's okay." Miah says gently.

"Okay. How long does it take to," Stiles begins to ask only for the sedative to begin working.

"Oh. Not long at all." Stiles mumbles, "Get some rest." Melissa nods as Miah sits in the armchair beside the bed, "Thanks... Mom." Stiles drowsily mumbles.

"I'll be ready in half an hour. Meet me at the front entrance." Melissa whispers leaving Miah nodding and sending her a gentle smile sitting beside Stiles's sleeping figure.

Miah sits on her phone messaging back and forth with Scott and Derek knowing Derek's been following Scott since the party at the loft.

KIRA AND Scott enter said male's house locking the doors and shutting the windows, "Where's Miah?" Kira asks.

"She'll be here. She's coming with my mom. They're both at the hospital." Scott explains and Kira sighs in relief.

"I have to show you something." Kira states sitting on the true alpha's bed opening a book.

"Have you ever heard of something called a Kitsune?" Kira asks and Scott shakes his head no before sitting beside the girl.

Scott looks at the picture book seeing the pictures, "That looks like what happened to you at the power station." Scott says.

"When a Kitsune rubs it's tails together... it can create fire or lightning. It's called foxfire," Kira says, "I don't have any tails." Kira shakes her head seeing Scott's look.

"How'd you know what I was thinking?" Scott asks, "Because Kitsunes are also psychic. I can hear all of your thoughts," Kira states smirking.

"Just kidding." Kira chuckles before noticing the darkening sky outside, "The sun's setting." Kira says, "Uh. Yeah. I know." Scott frowns.

"Are you scared?" Scott asks, "Not right now." Kira shakes her head smiling at the werewolf before they go back to looking at the book and the animation's.

"How long have you and Miah been dating?" Kira asks curiously, "Not long. But she's pretty amazing." Scott shrugs blushing at the thought of the mage hybrid.

Hearing a vehicle pulling up outside, "Miah and my mom are back." Scott states before walking downstairs seeing his father waiting in the living room.

Scott looks at his father confused and annoyed at the man, "What are you doing here? And why do you still have a key?" Scott asks angrily.

"Funny you mention keys. Because while I have a key to this house. I'm not exactly sure how you got a key to my office." Mr McCall states showing Scott and Kira a photo of themselves and Miah in the sheriff office from last night after they deleted the photos off Kira's phone.

Mr McCall looks at the two minus the blonde angrily, "Let me help you out... here. This kind of thing usually begins with something along the lines of 'it's not what you think' or 'I can explain.'" Mr McCall states.

Scott looks outside noticing the sun going down, "Dad, let me help you out. You need to leave." Scott demands, "I will. With a satisfactory explanation." Mr McCall states.

"Go get a warrant." Scott shrugs, "I don't need a warrant. I'm your father!" Mr McCall states annoyed with his son.

"No. You're a gene donor. I got my hair colour from you and that's all I got. So, you're not allowed to play tough-dad with me." Scott states angrily at the man.

Noticing Miah coming into the house alongside his mother confused, "Oh look just the blondie I was looking for." Mr McCall states.

"Excuse me?" Miah asks confused before looking at the photo of the man's laptop of herself and the other two.

"Oh fuck." Miah mumbles seeing Mr McCall looking at her in disgust.

"Want to explain to me what the hell is going on? Considering you're the one sleeping around and whoring it around with my son." Mr McCall snarls at the mage hybrid startling her at what he just called her.

"What the fuck Dad. That's not nice. She's my girlfriend!" Scott snarls growing even more angry at his father.

Melissa walks into the house even more confused hearing her son yelling at someone once again and an upset Miah standing beside Kira.

"Hey. What's going on?" Melissa asks, "Maybe one of you should explain." Mr McCall smugly states.

"He called Miah a whore." Scott snarls seeing the look of shock on his mother's face.

Before anything else can be said.

Miah and Kira both notice as the darkness appears outside, "Scott." Kira urges while Mr McCall walks into the living room seeing an unknown shadow.

"Who the hell is this?" Mr McCall yells, "Dad. No!" Scott says seeing his father walking towards the masked figure, even Miah shouts at the man despite her hatred towards the older male.

"Dad. Wait... Dad!" Scott yells and all hell breaks loose as one of the creatures katana's stab the man in the shoulder.

Kira screams from the sudden violence, "Derek!" Miah yells knowing the former alpha isn't that far away inhaling his scent, Scott, Miah and Melissa rush towards the injured male.

"Dad!" Scott yells, the front door to the McCall household opens and a figure rushes inside, growling and joining the fight as two more jump into the window shattering the class.

Derek, Aiden and Ethan alongside Miah and Scott all flash their werewolf and werecoyote side ready to fight the creatures, "Mom. The ash!" Scott yells.

"Melissa." Miah states helping the woman drag Mr McCall into a safe place near the front door.

"Mom. Now... do it now!" Scott shouts once they've got the creature outside of the house.

Melissa throws the ash breaking the jar creating a barrier between the doorway and the outside world.

Miah watches as Kira looks at the door in confusion before pushing her hand against it seeing the flash of light come from the barrier not allowing the girl to walk throw the door.

Miah notices the twins looking at her with glares, "Come on." Miah says walking over into another corner.

"All the baseboards are ash wood?" Derek asks seeing Miah rushing towards him embracing him in a hug.

"Uh, yeah. It was Deaton's idea and where the hell did you come from?" Scott asks shocked, "I've been following you." Derek shrugs smiling at Miah.

"For how long?" Scott asks confused, "All day. Miah suggested it." Derek shrugs throwing his little sister figure under the bus earning a punch in the arm from the mage hybrid.

"Derek!" Miah groans before looking at her boyfriend shrugging, "Sorry." Miah mumbles before seeing Scott's smirk on his face following behind Derek into the main room.

Miah waits downstairs once Scott helps Melissa get Mr McCall upstairs to control the man's bleeding from his deep puncture wound, "It's Kira, right? You going to tell us what you are?" Aiden asks.

"What? What do you mean?" Kira asks confused, "Aiden." Ethan warns, "Watch." Aiden states grabbing a hold of Kira's hand and putting it back towards the barrier.

"See that? She can't go through it, either." Aiden says looking at his twin brother, "So, what are you?" Aiden asks.

"She's a Kitsune. Idiot." Derek states coming into the room once more alongside Miah walking beside him.

"Use your eyes. You can see it all around her. The younger ones give off an aura. She just hasn't learned how to conceal it yet. She probably doesn't know what kind she is, either." Derek explains shrugging.

Miah looks at Kira with her eyes properly noticing the fox armour around her protecting her, "So beautiful." Miah states smiling at the brunette who's stunned at the information.

Kira rushes to the side of the staircase dragging Miah with her seeing Scott walking towards them.

"It's not you. It can't be. What I saw around you? It didn't look evil." Scott states and Miah nods leaning on the wall.

"It's actually beautiful Ki." Miah states, "But isn't that what a shapeshifter does? Isn't that why a Kitsune is called the 'trickster spirit?'. It's supposed to trick you," Kira states remembering what she read about them over the past few days.

"How are you so sure? How are you so sure I'm not the bad guy?" Kira asks looking at the couple.

"We have both seen the bad guys and you're not one of them." Miah states and Scott nods pointing at his girlfriend agreeing with her.

From outside the creatures have started looking for weaknesses in the mountain ash barrier around the house, "Guys? We have a problem." Ethan states.

Scott's phone starts vibrating in his pocket seeing the incoming phone call from Allison.

"Allison. Please tell me that you have something. They're here. They're trying to get in and it looks like they're gonna be able to do it." Scott states picking up the phone call.

"Okay. Okay, listen. They're Japanese demons. They're called the Oni. They're looking for someone possessed. Someone with a dark spirit attached to them." Allison states over the phone.

"A Nogitsune." Scott states, "How'd you know that? Scott?" Allison asks, "Just... tell me what else." Scott demands.

"Okay. They won't hurt you. They know you're supernatural, but once they do this check. Once they realize you're not carrying with you this dark spirit... then they won't hurt you. I promise. All they're looking for is the Nogitsune." Allison explains.

While Kira looks at Miah who's listening to the phone call end.

Kira looks at the couple seeing both of the looks, "I'm right. Aren't I? They're looking for me." Kira asks.

"They're looking for a dark spirit and I know it's not you." Miah states looking at Scott who looks anxious.

"Scott. We're going to have to do something." Derek states urgently seeing the oni break through the barrier, "Don't do anything." Scott demands.

"Is he serious?" Aiden asks, "I said. Don't do anything." Scott repeats, "Trust him." Miah nods encouraging Kira behind her.

"We've got this." Miah nods holding Scott's hand and walking towards the oni who walk towards them and begin doing their ritual check on the three.

Eventually Scott and Kira are the first ones to drop on the floor due the shocked and Miah is left falling towards Scott.

Derek rushes towards the falling blonde girl who's about to reach the floor with a harsh thump.

"You're gonna be okay." Derek states nodding at Miah who's looks up at him feeling the mark behind her ear but also healing quickly due to her mage and coyote abilities.

STILES IS now awake in his hospital room and walking outside into the hallway.

Miah rushes into the emergency beside a panicked Scott following behind Mr McCall's unconscious body.

"Hey! Stab wound to the left chest. Possible collapsed lung. Pulse is weak." Melissa states holding the wound before the doctors and nurses rush the man off for emergency service to repair the damage.

"He'll be okay Mel." Miah states holding onto her boyfriend's mother's hand, "I'm sorry for what he called you, sweetheart." Melissa states and Miah shakes her head.

"Don't worry about that. Just shocked me." Miah says, before looking at Scott and embracing him in a much needed hug.

"He'll make it, baby." Miah softly says, "We'll find Stiles." Scott says letting his mother know.

Unaware that Stiles is walking into a dark room in the hospital, hearing sudden sounds around him as the Oni surround him getting ready to mark him.

Only for the young man to shove his fist into the creatures chest pulling out a firefly and turning towards the others ready to take them on.

Scott and Miah walk out of the elevator seeing Stiles standing in the dark room weirdly, "Stiles... you okay?" Scott asks confused looking at his girlfriend.

"Yeah. Fine," Stiles states turning around to face the couple, "What's been going on?" Stiles asks wrapping his arms around his two friend's shoulders.

Walking out of the hospital with the crazy mentions of tonight's adventures and the dead fireflies on the ground in the dark hospital room.
