STATIC AND groans are all that's heard coming from Miah's bedroom at the Martin's household.

"Bug? Are you okay?" Joel quizzes panicked after finding his daughter unconscious on her bedroom floor.

"Huh? Mhm. Yeah. I'm just dizzy." Miah explains with a wince holding onto her forehead and taking the glass of water from Lydia as soon as she enters the bedroom with yet another scared look worried for her cousin's survival.

"Guys, I'm fine. I promise. I just passed out due to..." Miah frowns not remembering why she was passed out but sends a fake smile to the two staring at her with wide eyes.

Joel sighs handing Miah her mobile phone that's currently blowing up with text messages from Scott and the others mainly Stiles asking if she could get to her boyfriends─ the McCall's household as soon as possible due to having a plan on how to catch the benefactor.

"Are you aware of this plan?" Miah questions looking at her father who squints and nods helping her stand up from the floor.

"Yeah and I'm not gonna lie. It's fucking stupid." Joel snarls not wanting to stress her out more than she already is.

"We'll be fine, Dad. I promise." Miah states nodding at Lydia who smiles softly also aware of the plan, "Okay. Be safe, little bug. I love you." Joel voices with a sigh.

"Of course, grumpy wolf. I love you." Miah chuckles linking fingers with the man and winking at him while she leaves the house and sighs with a wince once she's alone in her vehicle holding onto her head.

MIAH RUNS into Scott's house smiling at Liam since he and Scott are the first two to realise she's arrived.

"Alright. I'm here. So this plan?" Miah questions looking at Stiles and her boyfriend who explain the plan of her using her aura electricity to stop Scott's heart so they can set up a trap for the benefactor at the hospital.

"You seriously want me to stop your heart?" Miah frowns looking at her boyfriend who nods at her gently, "What if I fuck it up?" Miah mumbles seeing the others looking at her.

"You won't and I know you won't because... I love and trust you, Mi." Scott states with a smile seeing Miah look at him across the table with a unconvincing expression while biting her lower lip with anxiousness motioning to the laptops on the table and the other equipment.

"Is three enough?" Kira wonders sharing the same nerves as the blonde mage hybrid, "Depends on how many cameras they have. But I think so." Stiles responds.

"Are we really doing this?" Liam quizzes, "We're doing it. Tonight." Scott states firmly, "But isn't it kind of dangerous?" Liam questions, "Yeah. It's incredibly dangerous and borderline idiotic." Stiles shrugs.

"Have you guys done something like this before?" Liam asks, "Something dangerous? Or something idiotic?" Stiles repeats, "I think it's a yes to both." Kira shrugs.

Miah looks at Scott sharing the same thoughts through looks before turning their gaze towards the young beta, "You don't have to be part of it if you don't want to." Scott suggests looking at the teenager.

"I'm not scared!" Liam snaps, "Then you're borderline idiotic." Stiles smirks placing his hand on Liam's shoulder and shoving him gently.

"If we do this. We don't know what's coming for us. You know that, right?" Stiles quizzes, "Considering you and Scott just explained to all of us. Yes." Miah states.

"How do we know something's definitely coming?" Kira questions, "Because the tape from Garrett's bag said 'visual confirmation required'." Scott explains.

"Simon said the same thing. He couldn't get paid by the benefactor until he had proof that you guys were dead." Stiles mutters explaining what happened while they were losing consciousness in the Hale vault in the locker room with yet another assassin.

"So, the idea is... what if you kill someone on the dead-pool, but you can't send the proof?" Scott inquires looking at Miah noticing the crease in her eyebrows signalling she's in pain.

"You don't get paid." Miah answers avoiding Scott's curious look staring at her, "But how does that get us any closer to the benefactor?" Liam questions.

"He still needs to know if the target is really dead." Scott responds, "Especially if it's someone high on the list." Stiles mumbles looking at Scott and Miah.

"So, if he wants visual confirmation..." Liam states, "He's going to have to come himself." Scott confirms interrupting Liam's speech.

Miah excuses herself walking up stairs into Scott's room knowing the male won't mind her being in the room by herself.

Miah sighs anxiously before dialling Derek's number wanting to know if she could really do this which her uncle confirms strongly but demands for her to be safe and update him every second she can.

Scott knocks on the bedroom door seeing Miah ending the phone call with a somber look on her face.

"Mi. Baby? You okay?" Scott wonders taking cautious steps towards the blonde girl who shakes her head wiping away her tears.

"What if I temporarily die instead of you? I'm scared I'll hurt you." Miah voices with a cry.

"You won't hurt me and I'm not letting you do that because the second you die on me again. I don't think I could live with myself." Scott mumbles feeling vulnerable with his girlfriend who smiles wrapping her arms around his neck kissing his lips with passion.

"Can you possibly call Ike?" Miah questions wanting her best friend on this part of the mission.

"No need. I'm already here. Scott called me earlier." Isaac states from the doorway smiling at the alpha and mage hybrid.

"Okay. Good. Let's get started." Miah confirms motioning to the bed while everyone else joins the three of them in Scott's bedroom seeing Noshiko following behind Kira.

"Thank you so much for coming." Miah voices seeing the woman nodding at her, "No problem." Noshiko mumbles while Scott looks up at his girlfriend hovering over his laidback figure on his bed.

MIAH SOBS running in after the ambulance with Scott's body on the gurney, "Move. Move. Move!" Paramedics order urgently while Miah sobs loudly.

"We need ECG. He's flat-lining!" the nurse shouts hearing a whimper coming from the blonde girl leaning against the door.

"Don't let him die please." Miah pleads while a nurse from the waiting area approaches the emotional girl trying to comfort her while nurses and Dr Geyer─ Liam's stepfather do their jobs on trying to save the teenager on the gurney.

Miah gasps in the nurses arms seeing them shock Scott with the pads trying to restart the boys heart.

"Still asystole. Continue chest compressions and charge to three-sixty." Dr Geyer demands charging the kit once more before stepping back and shocking the teenager once more being unsuccessful in restarting his heart.

"I'm calling it. Time of death... 21:02 hours" Dr Geyer states, "No!" Miah wails in the nurses arms falling to the floor in absolute agony and horror while Dr Geyer wipes a tear away from his cheek seeing Miah in such distress.

"Would someone please page Melissa McCall?" Dr Geyer orders biting back a cry seeing Miah still in the nurses arms looking at her boyfriend's dead unmoving body on the hospital gurney.

The nurse─ Jodie gently walks beside the shaking and emotional blonde helping her sit at one of the seats in the waiting room waiting for Melissa.

After five minutes of silence and shaking in her own skin she hears the hysterical cries coming from Melissa down the hallway while Dr Geyer tries to comfort the woman.

"What happened to my son?" Melissa screams falling to the floor feeling arms wrap around her seeing Miah hugging her tightly hysterically sobbing on the hospital floor together.

"We'll give you both some time to calm down. We're moving him to the morgue." Dr Geyer explains to the two sobbing loved ones of Scott McCall still on the hospital floor whimpering and wailing in agony.

MIAH EXHALES looking at Scott who nods reassuring her that he'll be okay.

"Are you guys totally sure about this?" Liam questions after pacing the room for the last ten minutes while Miah gets ready to temporarily kill her boyfriend.

"I think Liam's kind of nervous. Maybe you should tell him it's going to be all right so he doesn't panic Miah anymore than she currently is." Kira suggests standing beside Isaac.

"It's going to be all right." Scott states looking at his beta grabbing Miah's hand gently feeling the warmth coming from her mage electricity flowing through her veins.

"So, you've done this before... right?" Liam asks facing Kira's mother, "I've seen it done." Noshiko states.

"Is that just as good?" Liam asks nervously, "No." Noshiko responds flatly receiving a glare from her daughter hearing Miah suck in a deep breath.

"Mom! You're not inspiring confidence." Kira snarls.

"Good! This is a terrible idea. I understand Miah is confident and super strong but this could go wrong." Noshiko explains, "Do you want us to do it without you?" Kira suggests annoyed.

"Miah, honey. Put your hand over his heart." Noshiko explains seeing Miah gulp and gently place her hand on Scott's chest, "Hold on..." Scott interrupts looking at Noshiko.

"What happens while I'm out? Am I gonna feel anything?" Scott asks curiously rubbing soothing circles on Miah's wrist that's placed on his chest, "It might feel like you're dreaming." Noshiko explains.

"Good dreams. Or bad?" Scott inquires, "I suppose that's up to you." Noshiko shrugs answering honestly before nodding at the blonde again signalling for her to awaken her energy manipulation aura with the hand placed on her boyfriend's chest.

"Just look into his eyes and sooth him as this part may be painful." Noshiko suggests seeing Miah nod and look down at Scott who's gasping in pain before temporarily dying at Miah's hand.

Miah gasps looking at her best friend emotionally who nods at her, "You did good. Now let's call 9-1-1." Isaac suggests seeing Miah nod and put on her tears and sobs immediately shocking the others.

WALKING ALONGSIDE Melissa staring at the ground below her.

Melissa walks into the morgue with the blonde following behind her looking at Isaac who immediately stands beside her with a soft smile.

"I still hate this plan. I mean... this is pretty significantly terrifying. He looks dead." Melissa sniffles looking down at Scott's body laid on the cold metal gurney.

"Give me your hand." Noshiko demands in which Melissa looks at Stiles and Miah for confirmation.

"It's okay." Stiles whispers with a nod seeing Melissa place her hand on Scott's chest being led by Noshiko's arm.

"Wait for it." Noshiko states just as Miah relaxes hearing her boyfriend's soft and gentle heartbeat with her were-coyote hearing.

Melissa sighs as well with a small noticeable smile, "Is that enough to keep a werewolf alive?" Melissa asks, "Enough for an alpha." Noshiko confirms strongly.

"How much time do we have?" Melissa questions, "Forty-five minutes." Noshiko states, "What happens after that?" Melissa gulps.

"I bring him back the same way." Miah explains with a confident nod, "No. I mean... what happens if he stays like this longer than forty-five minutes?" Melissa asks anxiously.

"No one's told her?" Noshiko exasperatedly asks, "What? What happens after forty-five minutes?" Melissa asks alarmed, "He dies." Noshiko bluntly states with a shrug.

"Which won't happen. Mel, I promise." Miah firmly states looking at the woman who wraps her arms around her once again.

"Bring our boy back to us." Melissa pleads seeing Miah nod firmly once again, "I will." Miah utters.

Miah follows the others into a room after Melissa made sure that it wasn't occupied seeing the laptops set up already and knowing Argent and Joel are on the roof together hacking the cameras.

"We're here. You ready? Try it now." Argent states through Stiles's phone.

Stiles clicks the laptops immediately loading up the cameras to watch for the benefactor or anyone suspicious in the hospital.

Miah sighs holding her temples with a wince seeing Isaac watching her confused, "What was that?" Isaac asks breaking the silence confusing Kira, Liam and Stiles who look at the blonde who huffs.

"It's nothing. Just haven't been able to sleep much lately so I have miniature migraines hit throughout the day." Miah explains exhaustion laced in her tone.

After a while of silence and watching the cameras Liam frowns noticing one of the cameras glitching, "Is that supposed to look like that?" Liam asks pointing to the screen.

"No. No, it's not." Stiles responds, "Where is that?" Kira asks, "It's the roof. Someone's gonna have to go check it out." Stiles suggests looking at the others.

"I'll go." Isaac states firmly, "Same." Kira voices nodding at Isaac, "Whoa, whoa. This might not just be a malfunction." Stiles exclaims.

"That's why I'm bringing this." Kira explains showing her katana to the orders who nod agreeing with the girl.

Miah watches while Isaac and Kira exit the room, "Ike! Be safe. You too Ki-Ki." Miah states raising her voice seeing Isaac nod at her and whisper you too.

"I'm coming with you two!" Liam states rushing after Isaac and Kira, "You be safe then too Li!" Miah orders seeing Liam salute her.

"Okay. And you're both coming right back. Immediately!" Stiles exclaims looking at Miah who looks at the timer on her phone seeing the time ticking away.

"Kids." Stiles sighs hearing Miah chuckle before following after him towards the morgue where her father and Argent are waiting for them and protecting Scott's body.

THE POWER cutting out wasn't exactly the plan while Miah and Stiles walk in the hospital hallways running into Argent aiming a gun at them.

"Jesus again Chris? Really? This time I'm actually me and not in my other form either." Miah huffs seeing Joel look at his close friend in shock.

"Wait you aimed a gun at my daughter?" Joel questions with a scowl, "Long time ago dad. He didn't know it was me. It's okay." Miah chuckles smiling at Argent putting away his gun.

"The power's out in the whole building. Miah and I lost all the cameras." Stiles explains.

"Both of you stay with Scott. Text me if you see or hear anything." Argent demands looking at Joel loading up his gun and hiding it behind his jacket.

"Dad, be safe please." Miah pleads seeing Joel smile at her and peck her forehead before rushing towards the battle awaiting in the hospital walls for them.

Standing in the morgue in front of Scott's body, Miah smiles remembering their moment earlier before all of this chaotic mess.

"I'm scared Scott. Like really scared I'm gonna fail you." Miah whispers laid on Scott's pillow looking at the boy she loves and adores.

"You won't fail me baby and I'm been thinking." Scott smiles, "About what?" Miah asks.

"That we've never actually been on a real date." Scott voices tucking Miah's long blonde hair behind her ear, "There hasn't been time." Miah shrugs, "We could make time." Scott suggests.

"Even though people are dying all around us?" Miah smirks seeing Scott blink in realisation, "Okay. Maybe after that.." Scott chuckles.

"We could see a movie? I haven't seen a movie in forever." Miah whispers feeling sleepy wishing silently that she could just sleep beside her boyfriend instead of the plans they currently have to temporarily slow Scott's heart and make it out that his dead.

"That sounds like a plan." Scott hums with a smile, "It's a good plan." Miah giggles leaning over and kissing Scott's lips.

Miah snaps out of her memories looking at Stiles pacing anxiously dialling what she guesses to be Argent and her father.

"Come on. Come on... answer the phone. Answer the phone, Argent! Joel! Come on, Argent... Joel. Answer the phone. Why aren't either of you answering the phone?" Stiles mutters.

Joel and Argent are thrown through the doors, "Miah, run! Sweetheart!" Joel demands just as Argent demands for Stiles to run as well.

"Oh, fuck my life." Miah grunts seeing the woman entering through the morgue doors with a smirk on her face.

"Don't worry Miah. I'm not here for you... yet. Our fun from years ago hasn't finished yet." Kate taunts hearing Miah scoff annoyed.

"Get out of the way, Stiles. I'm taking the body." Kate demands looking at the male standing in front of Scott protectively like Miah's doing.

"Why? Visual confirmation?" Stiles quizzes looking at the woman who smirks, "Don't worry, handsome. I'm not the benefactor." Kate responds walking closer to the four of them.

Miah helps her father stand up beside her seeing the blood on the side of his torso, "Then what do you want with the body?" Argent questions confused.

"I wish I could tell you." Kate voices while Argent lunges for her placing a gun under her chin, "I always forget you carry two." Kate mutters.

"Oh don't worry, Kate. Those bullets have a little extra kick to them." Miah smirks flicking a ball of magic around her fingers taunting the woman who freezes at the sight before looking at Argent again with a scowl.

Kate lunges to get closer to Scott's body behind Stiles and Miah, "Back off!" Argent snarls.

"You sure you can pull the trigger fast enough?" Kate mumbles, "I don't want to." Argent states.

"Can't say the same for Joel though." Argent shrugs seeing Joel glaring at the woman, "You're not going to kill me. And neither are you Joel. You like me too much." Kate chuckles.

"Bitch. I don't like you one bit. You manipulated Derek and I into sleeping with you. Only I was legal. But still you still just had to have the last hurrah and traumatise Derek." Joel snarls darkly at the woman, "I'm not going to let you take his body." Argent states firmly.

Stiles huffs standing beside Miah who's taking in a lot of her father's disgust with the woman and standing cross armed leaning against the metallic morgue doors.

"Okay, well... obviously, you guys have a lot to talk about. So, maybe I saw some coffee, a vending machine... outside?" Stiles rambles suggestions seeing Miah rolling her eyes, "Listen to me, Kate. We have a plan." Argent firmly states.

"If killing Scott was part of it. You're worse than me. Especially since little Miah is dating him." Kate taunts tilting her head noticing the darkness swimming in Miah's eyes.

"He's telling the truth. We're trying to get to the benefactor." Stiles explains.

"If you didn't notice... you're on that list, too. And you're worth more than most." Argent mutters, "That's why I'm here." Kate shrugs.

"Then back off and let us do what we planned. Take the berserkers and go. Kate... please. We have a plan." Argent begs.

Kate looks at the watch with the timer on his wrist before nodding and departing from the morgue growling into the distance so the berserkers know it's time to go.

Miah sighs leaning against the morgue drawers closing her eyes tiredly facing the others and pulling out Scott's body placing her hand on Scott's chest sending sparks through his chest while her hands glow their usual reddish purple.

Scott shoots up screaming in fright almost like he was experiencing a nightmare.

"You're okay." Miah smiles immediately being brought in for a kiss by the male who sighs in relief never wanting to experience what he did in his dream-state, killing Liam─ his beta and seeing what is to come with his girlfriend's abilities.

"What happened? Did it work?" Scott asks looking at Miah who looks at the others.

Seeing Kira walking into the morgue smiling at her alongside Isaac, Miah shakes her head noticing Liam rushing into the morgue looking at Kira panicked, "What?" Kira frowns confused.

"It's your mother. She's hurt." Liam responds which sends Kira running out of the morgue towards her mother, Melissa and Dr Geyer wanting her mother to be okay.

Miah blinks away the pain from her head once more falling into the table beside Scott.

"Woah." Joel mumbles holding up his daughter from falling seeing her nod at him signalling she's fine.

Kira explains to Miah that she needs to be with her mother at the moment as she's being moved to Palo Alto via helicopter due to her injuries.

Miah wishes her luck and to call her if she needs anything before walking into Scott's bedroom seeing him laid on his bed looking at her approaching in his t-shirt and her underwear.

"Kira's mom is being taken to a hospital in Palo Alto. They actually put her in a helicopter." Miah voices after a while of silence, "But she's going to be okay?" Scott wonders.

"Yeah. She just doesn't heal like she used to. Kira needs to be there with her. Especially if she's still on the list." Miah explains looking up from Scott's chest sitting up and facing the male who grabs onto her hands holding onto them tightly.

"Yeah... that's good she went. I actually have to go back to the hospital, too. They want to do a bunch of tests. Since I was kind of officially dead." Scott mumbles seeing Miah tense at the word dead.

"I guess Liam's dad has a lot of questions? Oh by the way... never again. I hated that so much." Miah states.

"Yeah. And now you know how I felt the moment you died in my arms and nearly left me the other day Mi. I can't survive without you." Scott voices seeing Miah look down at her legs sniffling before looking back at Scott who wipes away her tears gently.

"I'm sorry handsome. Just sucks. I just wish it had all worked. It was a good plan." Miah mumbles laying her head back on Scott's chest once he lays down beside her.

"Yeah. I've been thinking about that too. And actually... I think maybe it did work. Not that I know exactly who the benefactor is. But we might know a lot more about him now." Scott voices inhaling Miah's scent from her blonde hair.

"But no one came and no one got visual confirmation, right?" Miah frowns looking up at Scott already looking down at her.

"That's why it might have worked! Think about it. Who has the power to know when someone's dead. But doesn't need to see the body to know it happened?" Scott quizzes.

"Holy shit. A banshee." Miah gasps looking at her boyfriend in absolute shock before both of them snuggle into each other more and fall into slumber knowing Scott has to return to the hospital in the morning for more tests.
