OVER THE past few days since Miah had the realisation that the Dread Doctors were involved in her mother and little brother's deaths.

Scott and the others went to Eichen House─ where Scott ended up severely injured due to carrying an unconscious buzzing Kira due to her kitsune powers opening a door for the Dread Doctors to get into Eichen House and brutally attack the man they went to see about the book.

Scott and Miah haven't really spoken much over the past few days due to the both of them having stuff going on in their heads.

Lydia practically begged Miah to tag along while Parrish trains her seeming as Miah also agreed to be trained as well.

Miah grunts throwing another punch at the deputy, "Arms up," Parrish states making Miah sigh in exhaustion looking over at her cousin copying the same movements.

"This way... you can block attacks to your face and your head while always keeping your eyes on your enemy." Parrish explains looking at the two girls.

"Ready?" said male questions seeing both Lydia and Miah nod in reply.

Miah blocks all of the blows to her head like Parrish mentioned─ however Lydia remains unsuccessful.

"Miah, you can sit down and have a break." Parrish suggests, "Oh... finally!" Miah exclaims sitting on the male's couch watching Lydia and Parrish do some more moves.

"It's all right. You're not going to be perfect after only a few tries." Parrish mumbles looking at the frustrated strawberry blonde.

"Miah did." Lydia mutters motioning to her cousin taking a gulp from her water bottle.

"Sorry?" Miah whispers confused, "I'm okay. Keep going." Lydia demands.

"You sure? Maybe we should stop after a few." Parrish suggests, "Why?" Lydia quizzes.

"I don't want your stitches to get un-stitched." Parrish shrugs in response.

"They're fine. See? No blood." Lydia sighs taking off her sweater showing the male and her cousin her wound isn't bleeding and she's fine.

"Ready when you are. Miah, come on." Lydia orders making Miah groan and stand up standing beside her cousin with a glare on her face.

Miah throws a kick and punch before stumbling backwards feeling Parrish wrap his muscular arms around her torso trapping her in.

Miah groans due to her side still feeling tender─ but mostly healed from Tracy's attack a week ago.

"What did you do wrong?" Parrish questions breathing in the blondes scent, "Uh. I forgot to keep my arms up." Miah grimaces.

"Right. But don't worry. Your muscles have memory... especially with you being mage and coyote. With enough practice, they'll remember for you." Parrish states confusing Miah in how he knows that.

"How do you know that?" Miah curiously asks, "Done my research." Parrish responds looking at Lydia looking at him with a certain look on her face.

Parrish gently grabs Miah's forearm suddenly making the blonde mage hybrid fall into him more due to feeling a wave of dizziness wash over her.

Miah groans in discomfort having flashes of her mother and brother in the accident screaming in agony worrying not only Parrish but Lydia as well who steps forward looking at her cousin.

"Memi?" Lydia murmurs panicked, "What's wrong? What is it?" Parrish questions.

"Muscle memory." Miah explains looking at Lydia's handbag with the book about the Dread Doctor poking outside of it.

After taking some pain killers for her headache and leaving Parrish's apartment with Lydia on her side.

The cousins set off to school for the day knowing later on they're all meeting up at Scott's house to read the book together as a group.

Isaac frowns seeing Miah's appearance walking into the school's corridor towards her locker.

"Mims, are you okay?" Isaac questions making the girl flinch in fright not hearing Isaac walking towards her.

"I'm fine." Miah mumbles grabbing some of her textbooks and walking alongside Isaac to their next class not noticing Isaac's worried gaze watching her the whole class.

SCOTT AND Theo stand above the courtyard of the high school keeping an out of for anyone suspicious, "So... basically, we're looking for abnormal behavior?" Theo quizzes.

"Anyone acting a little off or a little weird." Scott responds, "Isn't everyone a little weird in high school?" Theo wonders.

"Yeah. Good point." Scott says with a sigh walking down into the courtyard with Theo beside him.

"You remember Tracy went on a killing spree after reading that?" Theo questions gesturing to the book about the Dread Doctors in his hand.

"You think it's a bad idea?" Scott questions, "I think Miah almost getting run down by a car could've been bad. And the fact she hasn't told you about it?" Theo states receiving a shrug off the true alpha in response.

Truth is Miah not telling him about nearly getting ran over a few nights ago has messed him up a little bit.

"Well... that's why you guys haven't finished it, right?" Theo quizzes, "We're going to." Scott states.

"Scott, I came here hoping to find a pack. I wasn't planning on watching one fall apart." Theo utters looking at the true alpha in all seriousness.

"The book's all we've got." Scott mumbles in response, "Then I'll read it... too." Theo firmly states shocking Scott who responds with a small nod of appreciation.

ISAAC AND Miah arrive at Scott's house seeing the others waiting for them around the table.

"Sorry." Miah whispers taking note of all their stares.

Isaac clears his throat looking at the multiple copies of the book on the coffee table.

"My mom's book club usually has more wine." Lydia playfully says from beside her cousin who laughs quietly.

"Well... they also probably didn't read books that cause violent hallucinations." Stiles states looking at the strawberry blonde.

"That's why Malia's here." Scott explains looking at Malia seeing her nod in confirmation, "So none of us run over more dummy dolls?" Kira quizzes.

"Or worse. Run into traffic and not tell anyone about it." Scott mutters looking straight at Miah who avoids eye contact with the clearly annoyed male.

"Like what happened to Judy. Chapter fourteen." Malia states taking notice of everyone's confused faces.

"Maybe I should have my mother read it. She might remember a girl with a tail leaping off the ceiling and attacking everyone." Lydia states looking at the book before looking around at everyone.

"Yeah. If it works..." Stiles responds, "It has to." Lydia mumbles sharing a look with Miah who sighs nervously.

"What does that mean?" Scott questions looking at Lydia and Miah confused.

"I think I saw them during my surgery. When I look at the cover of the book. It's almost like..." Lydia explains trailing off at the end of her sentence.

"A memory trying to surface." Theo says finishing the sentence for the strawberry blonde.

"Yeah." Lydia responds lowly, "Isn't that what Valack wanted when he wrote it?" Miah wonders.

"If they did something to me. I want to know what it is." Lydia responds walking over to the couch.

"Me too." Miah whispers not realising Scott, Theo and Isaac all hear her and continue looking at her while she grabs a copy of the book off the coffee table sitting beside Lydia on the couch.

After a while of sitting in silence due to everyone reading the book.

Miah winces feeling another painful thump at the back of her head, not noticing Theo's small smirk on his face at the sight of her pain.

Knowing exactly what the Dread Doctors have planned for his ex girlfriend.

Scott looks over at Miah taking notice of the discomfort on her face, "Anyone feel any thing yet?" Scott questions looking up at the rest of the group.

"Tired." Kira responds, "Hungry." Lydia mumbles, "Bored." Isaac states.

"A wicked friggin' headache." Miah mutters, "I think he meant the book." Theo says, "Oh no. Really?" Miah responds in a snapping tone.

"Scott, is the pain medication still in the same spot in the kitchen?" Miah quietly asks.

"Yeah." Scott nods watching Miah stand up and walk off into the kitchen where Malia and Stiles are seated due to the coffee pot being there.

Miah doesn't realise that Scott's followed her wanting to speak to her privately about the whole running into traffic thing.

"Babe... Mi. Can we talk please?" Scott questions seeing Miah nod in response taking some medication for her thumping head.

"Why didn't you tell me about the other night?" Scott asks, "I don't know. I didn't find it important. Just lucky Theo was there before a car actually hit me." Miah explains.

The couple oblivious to the fact Theo's listening to their conversation with his super hearing.

"I just wish you would've told me, Miah." Scott responds shocking the blonde at how flat he sounded using her full name and not the usual nickname he calls her.

"I'm sorry." Miah mumbles feeling guilty, "Was it just the traffic thing and seeing your families death? Nothing else?" Scott questions firmly.

Miah gulps hearing the sounds of her mother and little brother Lukas's agonising screams while they die violently in her head.

"Nothing else." Miah responds lying to her boyfriend leaving a smirking smugly Theo Raeken in the living room.

Miah returns to the living room looking directly at Theo silently demanding him to remain silent about the Dread Doctors being the cause of her mother and little brother's deaths.

Miah eventually falls asleep on Scott's bed since the male suggested for her to get some rest thirty minutes ago.

Theo being the only one awake downstairs silently walks upstairs towards where he knows Miah is currently sleeping hearing her repeating something in a quiet voice.

"Ich bin die Fee der Zerstörung und des Chaos. Massenvernichterin von Welten." Miah mumbles in German.

The Raeken male who leans down pressing audio record on his phone.

To have the evidence of Miah's success for the Dread Doctors.

THE NEXT morning Scott, Miah, Isaac, Stiles and Kira walk into the school waiting for their possible memories to hit them.

"What if we need some kind of trigger? Wasn't Malia driving in the parking lot when she hit those test dummies?" Scott questions.

"Yeah. But how are we supposed to trigger a memory that we don't remember?" Stiles wonders.

"Maybe it's a delayed thing? Maybe you have to wait a couple hours to see what happens." Scott suggests.

Miah looks at Kira noticing the lights above them flickering before seeing the boys looking at Kira as well in question.

"That wasn't me. I swear." Kira states firmly, "We keep an eye on each other today, okay?" Scott demands looking at Stiles.

"Yes. And keep an eye out for eight other potentially homicidal Chimeras." Stiles states quietly looking at the students walking past them in the corridor.

"And keep an eye out for the Dread Doctors." Kira states, "Fan-fucking-tastic." Isaac mutters in annoyance.

"You hang out with my dad too much." Miah states looking at Isaac repeating the same phrase her dad always says.

"Yeah. Because Joel is cool. Unlike you." Isaac responds playfully, "Remember that when you need a lift somewhere, asshole." Miah mutters.

"Starting to see the appeal of a third eye!" Stiles exclaims, "Me too... Stiles. Me too." Miah responds walking off beside her boyfriend, Isaac and Kira towards their next class.

Isaac chuckles messing up Miah's hair while he walks past pissing the blonde girl off.

"Stop it!" Miah snaps shoving the Lahey boy away from her and walking into the classroom.

Leaving Isaac smirking in the hallway before he too walks to his next class hearing the final five minute bell.

Miah sits beside Lydia feeling eyes looking at her from behind, said girl frowns taking notice of Theo looking at her already while Mrs Finch is explaining something at the front of the class about their lesson.

Theo motions towards Sydney sitting at the desk in-front of them making Miah tilt her head confused feeling her phone vibrate on her lap with a text message off Theo.

Miah reads looking up taking notice of Sydney taking a chunk of her hair off her skull and looking around horrified.

Lydia also notices the girls panicked and scared look before Sydney gathers her belongings and rushes out of the classroom─ dumping a drop sheet on Mrs Finch's desk.

Miah and Lydia both hurry off after the girl getting told off by the teacher but the Martin cousins don't care and follow through with their plans of seeing if Sydney's okay.

Miah leads Lydia towards a nearby classroom following Sydney's scent.

Sydney looks at the Martin cousins wiping her tears from her face, "I was just looking for your mom. I mean, Mrs Martin." Sydney explains looking at Lydia while Miah steps into the empty classroom.

"I'll go find her for you." Lydia states walking off into the corridor leaving Miah with the upset girl, "Are you okay?" Miah questions softly.

"Does this look okay?" Sydney quizzes sadly holding out a chunk of her hair, "How long has it been happening?" Miah asks.

"Three years." Sydney responds, "Years?" Miah repeats shocked sitting beside the upset brunette.

"It's stress. I've tried everything. Medication, acupuncture, hypnosis..." Sydney explains.

"Have you tried not taking the hardest classes in school?" Miah playfully suggests seeing Sydney's small smile.

"Let me see it. Maybe I can help cover it up?" Miah suggests gently, Sydney nods moving hair out of the way.

Miah looks closer seeing a bald patch just above Sydney's ear before whirring is heard and a bloodied hole replaces the bald spot.

Miah gasps in horror and back away collapsing to the ground unconscious.

Laughter and talking amongst themselves. Miah and her little brother Lukas laugh about something Joel said in the passenger seat since their mother decided she'd drive them home back to Beacon Hills looking forward to spending more time with her sister─ Natalie.

"Mom, look out!" Miah shouts horrified seeing three figures standing in the middle of the road holding out their hands electrocuting the engines power.

Leaving Miah and Lukas sitting in the backseat scared and fragile, "Don't hurt them please! They're only young!" Nikita─ Miah's mother whimpers while feeling her mage powers being sucked out of her.

Joel snarls flashing his werewolf canines at the doctor on the passenger side injecting him with a substance that knocks the man unconscious.

"No! Please!" Nikita begs coughing up blood feeling the knife the doctor just pledged into her stomach twists and more poison flow through her bloods, "Mommy!" Lukas shouts through tears.

The Dread Doctor on his side of the car rips apart the blonde woman traumatising the two children in the backseat.

The creepy masked doctor makes his way to Miah injecting her with a mysterious substance seeing the way the magic flows through her veins.

"Powers? To be determined..." a robotic voice states before Miah looks to her side seeing her little brother being ripped apart flicking blood all throughout the vehicle.

The blood splatters over the clearly traumatised brunette mage hybrid who just witnessed her mother and little brother's deaths.

Suddenly falling unconscious in the arms of Deucalion─ the demon wolf, letting the young brunette girl think she's now an orphan.

Unaware of her father─ Joel being alive and left for dead with multiple wounds laced throughout his entire body.

Sydney rushed out of the empty classroom running into Scott, Isaac and Theo explaining the McCall male that his girlfriend is unconscious and she needs to find Lydia and Natalie─ Mrs Martin as soon as possible.

Scott immediately breaks into a run seeing the way Miah is slumped against the wall with her eyes wide open and her hands shaking due to the fear running through her.

"Mi? Baby. Are you okay?" Scott questions making Miah gasp out of the nightmare seeing her boyfriend's handsome face looking at her worriedly with Isaac and Theo sharing the same looks.

"I'm... I'm fine." Miah stutters frightened, Scott gently takes a hold of Miah's hand stopping it from shaking.

"You remembered something." Theo suggests leaning down behind Scott.

"Not about the Dread Doctors. Nothing about them or about me running into traffic." Miah explains.

"What was it, Mi?" Scott asks coming to the side of her while Theo stands on the other helping Miah off the ground due to her shaky legs and sitting her on one of the nearby chairs.

"My mother and little brother Lukas. Their deaths." Miah mumbles with tears in her eyes.

"Miah? Mimi?" Natalie and Lydia's panicked shouts are heard rushing into the empty classroom.

Natalie looks at her niece seeing how pale and scared she looks, "Oh my god! What happened? Are you all right?" Natalie questions alarmed.

"Aunt Nat... I'm fine. It was nothing." Miah explains, "Did you faint?" Natalie quizzes.

Miah looks at her aunt knowing her mother use to have really bad fainting spells when she was alive.

"Yeah. Yeah, I fainted. But, I'm fine. I promise." Miah mumbles standing up latching onto her boyfriend and Isaac wanting them close at the moment.

Scott looks at Natalie who mouths 'watch out for her please', said male nods.

Scott and Isaac lead Miah outside for fresh air since Natalie suggested for them to do that.

"I've got to do something. But I'll be back soon, okay? Isaac's staying though." Scott says looking at Miah sipping on her water bottle.

"Okay." Miah responds biting her lower lip anxiously, said girl watches Scott walk back into the school going to do what he needs to inside.

"Are you sure you're alright? It's me Mims." Isaac states looking at his best friend.

"I'm fine, Ike." Miah sighs growing tired of everyone asking her if she's okay.

Liam runs into Miah in the courtyard taking her hand not even explaining what's going on, "Woah... Li. What's going on?" Miah exclaims shocked.

"It's Scott." Liam states running into the hallway of the classroom seeing students standing outside Mrs Finch's classroom watching in shock.

"We've got it! I've got the inhaler!" Liam shouts pushing past everyone with Miah pushing through desperately wanting to get to her boyfriend.

Liam puts the inhaler in Scott's hand which Scott doesn't do anything with.

"Scott. Scott, come on." Liam softly demands shaking Scott's shoulder, "You're his beta. Flash your eyes." Miah demands.

Liam inhales leaning forwards so no one can see his golden beta eyes flashing at his alpha.

"Scott!" Liam demands with a growl snapping Scott back into reality taking a deep breath from his inhaler.

"Thanks." Scott says panting looking at Liam, "Thank Miah. It was her idea." Liam whispers gesturing to Miah's tear filled face.

"You're okay." Miah whimpers nodding at her boyfriend who laces his fingers with hers and breathes in her scent calming his mind down from the previous asthma attack.

MIAH WALKS around the school thoughts racing in her head, about Scott, Theo and even her parents and little brother and Deucalion being there when her mother and Lukas died.

Miah stops suddenly recognising Theo's scent coming from the school's gym.

"Screw it." Miah mutters walking into the gym taking notice of the shirtless male holding onto his jacket.

Miah clears her throat watching Theo throw the jacket onto his gym bag and walk towards the weights beginning to lift them.

"Why haven't you said anything?" Miah questions after a while of awkward silence.

"About what?" Theo wonders breathing heavily due to the weights.

"The rest of my memory. The Dread Doctors. Why didn't you tell Scott?" Miah quizzes, "I didn't think you wanted me to." Theo responds.

"I don't. Don't you want to know why?" Miah inquires standing up straight noticing Theo putting the weights down and turning towards her, "Not really." Theo declares with a shrug.

Miah watches while Theo uses the butterfly press machine and scoffs under her breath grabbing a hold of the bars.

"You think you're doing me a favor? Like I'm going to owe you now?" Miah snarls.

"I don't need any favours, Mims. You know this." Theo explains shakily trying to use his super strength on the blonde who's clearly stronger than him.

"Then what do you want?" Miah questions annoyed, "I want in the pack and considering you're the alpha's girlfriend. You should have a say." Theo states smugly.

"It's not up to me." Miah responds with a scowl on her face staring down at the shirtless male.

"Look. If you want to tell Scott what you saw... tell him considering you're dating him. But if you've got something else in mind. I'm okay with that too." Theo mutters with a smirk on his face checking the mage hybrid out.

Miah laughs letting go of the machine making the weights snap back into their correct position catching Theo off guard.

"Have fun with your little injury." Miah says walking out of the gym with an innocent smile on her face.

SCOTT SITS in the boys locker room staring at the inhaler sadly, "You gonna be okay?" Theo questions making himself known.

"Yeah. Um... I think it was just the memory hitting me. Psychosomatic thing." Scott explains taking note of the urgent look on Theo's face.

"Did you want to talk about something?" Scott quizzes, "No. It can wait." Theo responds with a sigh, "No. No. It's okay... what's up?" Scott frowns confused.

"Last night. You guys all fell asleep. I went upstairs to check on Miah. She was sleeping, but..." Theo explains trailing off.

"You heard her speaking German." Scott says finishing Theo's sentence.

"I didn't just hear it." Theo states pulling out his phone and the recording of Miah's voice.

"Ich bin die Fee der Zerstörung und des Chaos. Massenvernichterin von Welten" Miah's voice through the recording mumbles.

"That is... that is what she said a few nights ago when she was sleeping." Scott states in realisation.

"I found a website that can translate it. It means... roughly, 'I am the fairy of destruction and chaos. Mass destroyer of worlds'. Does it get worse?" Theo questions.

"Uh... yeah. Something is... something's happening to her. She's got this aura all around her, almost like her powers are turning a blackish purple. Well, I guess it's supposed to be part of her. It makes her look... different. Almost like her chaos magic is taking over. I don't know. Something's happening. And to be honest..." Scott mumbles feeling guilty for even thinking this.

Although he can't describe the feeling in his heart that something is going on in Miah's head, "What?" Theo mumbles.

"I don't know if I can trust her anymore. I mean she lied to me last night. I heard her heart jump." Scott explains nervously.

The lights flicker above them confusing both Scott and Theo who both hear the buzzing vibrations below them.

"I hear it too." Theo states looking at the true alpha, "It's coming from the basement." Scott states alarmed.

Theo and Scott rush downstairs to the basement seeing wires crackling.

"This definitely isn't Kira or Miah." Scott states firmly flinching as electricity crackles in-front of them.

"It's a Chimera." Theo voices stunned.

MIAH, MALIA and Isaac walk down the staircase seeing Scott and Theo waiting for them.

Isaac glares at Theo still not liking or trusting the male, "Where's Kira?" Scott questions.

"Still at the library." Malia explains, "Stiles and Lydia are at the hospital." Miah states, "Doing what?" Theo quizzes.

"Lydia's trying to figure out what happened to her during the surgery." Miah explains looking at Theo and then looking at her boyfriend while walking towards the exit of the high school.

"How long are they gonna be there?" Scott asks, "They said they've just waiting for the power to come back on." Malia responds.

Scott and Theo mouth something at one another and rush out of the high school leaving Miah, Isaac and Malia extremely confused.

"I guess we're going to the hospital." Isaac mutters following after Theo and Scott.

"I'll drive us. Come on." Miah suggests motioning to her vehicle in the parking lot.

The three of them rush towards Miah's car driving towards the hospital knowing they'll meet Scott and Theo there.

Miah, Malia and Isaac all walk into the hospital beside Scott and Theo.

"You guys try to find Stiles and Lydia. I'm gonna find my mom." Scott states receiving nods from the four of them.

They rush off towards the other rooms looking for Lydia and Stiles around the hospital.

Miah gasps suddenly feeling the thumping in her head again looking around feeling the Dread Doctors presence.

"They're here!" Miah gasps alerting Malia and Isaac since Theo ran into another direction.

Malia, Miah, Isaac and Melissa all stand in the elevator, Miah exhales nervously hearing Scott's wheezing from a few floors up.

"Come on. Come on." Miah mutters forming a ball of chaos magic ready to throw it at the dread doctors.

Scott looks over at the elevator hearing it ding open seeing his girlfriend and Malia growling at the doctor feeling a harsh blow of Miah's chaos magic knock into the doctor holding him by the throat.

Malia and Miah don't hesitate running into the fight growling, Miah snarls sending another ball of chaos magic.

Scott wheezes in the elevator with his mom before gasping due to the injection Melissa just stabbed into his leg.

"Miah... Malia. Come on! Run!" Melissa yells seeing the way the dread doctor has got the upper hand holding Malia by her throat and looking at Miah─ almost proudly.

"Come on, Mal." Miah orders sending yet again another ball of magic into the doctor making it stumble so both of them can run to the elevator.

Miah and Malia breathe deeply once they're in the elevator seeing the dread doctor directly behind on their tails.

"Watch out!" Melissa exclaims while the elevator doors close just before the doctor can step in.

Miah gasps feeling the elevator shaking with a massive thud, "We never should have read that book." Scott states panicked looking at his girlfriend and Malia who share the same look.

"No fucking shit!" Isaac exclaims in response looking at Scott before looking at Miah and Malia making sure they're both okay.

Since one of them is his ex girlfriend and the other is someone he is growing closer to.

Miah bends down making sure Scott's doing okay since having the life practically drained from him.

Even though she's beyond hurt and betrayed due to hearing him earlier saying he doesn't trust her anymore to Theo in the locker room.
