"First off, snacks and a cheesy movie" she suggested and I smiled.

"I'll get the snacks" I said.

"I'll get the snacks" she retorted standing up.

Joan was too lazy to do something like get the snacks.

"I'll get them, you choose a movie" I said leaving the room before she could protest.

I knew she wanted to go down because of the guys.

I got a lot of unnecessary snacks and chips before going back upstairs.

"You have a lot of messages from Theodore you should answer him" she said but I scoffed and picked up my phone and my eyes widened at his last message.

*I'm coming over*

That was like five minutes ago.

If he came here, they would kill him.

I called him but there was no response.

I called again but the same thing.

"I'll be right back" I said to Joan

The door rang and I rushed to get it gently closing the door behind me to find Theo standing in front of me.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Why are you here?" I retorted.

"You weren't answering my calls or messages" he said.

"Shouldn't that give you a hint that I'm trying to ignore you?" I asked.

"Why would you want to ignore me, did I do something wrong?" He asked but I ignored him.

"Hayley, let's sit down and talk, let me know what's wrong" he suggested.

"No Theo, go home" I said and he frowned.

"Why are you being mean what's wrong?" He asked for the fourth time and I chuckled.

"Mean?" I chuckled again.

"Maybe you should have considered my feelings before stuffing your tongue down another girl's throat.

"What?" He asked confused but then seemed to realize.

"You saw that?" He asked.

"Yes" I replied and he groaned.

"I didn't think anyone would notice, what were you doing there?" He asked and I clenched my hands.

"Is that really what matters now?" I asked.

"You're right, I guess I have to tell you anyways" he sighed.

"My friends don't like you, and they believe I care too much about you that it's made me soft"

"This is so embarrassing to say"

"I was afraid they would do something to you, so they asked me to prove that I wasn't smitten by you, by kissing another girl" he sighed looking away.

"Since you already know, the truth is set wasn't the only girl I kissed I actually kissed another girl too, to assure them" he said.

Although I was angry, I appreciated his honesty.

"I'm sorry" he apologised and it was my turn to look away.

"Why would they hurt me?" I asked.

"You may not realize, but it's something we do to people we don't like and I'm not proud of it" he replied and I nodded.

"I'm sorry you saw that, you probably thought that I didn't care about you" he said looking directly into my eyes and I broke off contact.

"It's fine, I have no right to be angry it's not like there's anything between us" I shrugged and when I looked up, he pulled me into a hug.

"I would go crazy if I saw you kissing another guy, you have every right to be angry, and you can't ignore the fact that there's nothing between us. I haven't stopped thinking about the kiss since that day" he murmured the last part and I placed my hands around him and snuggled deeper.

This felt nice.

"Hayley what are you...." I heard a voice behind me and immediately pulled away from Theo.

"Evening" Theo greeted with a smile and Vandel glared at him about to charge towards him but I blocked him.

"It's fine, he explained everything it was a misunderstanding" I said and Vandel threw a glare at Theo who had backed away.

"What's he doing here by this time?" Vandel asked.

"He came to apologise" I replied.

"Can he come in?" I asked.

"No, unless you allow him to," Vandel said heading back inside.

"I think he wants to kill me" Theo murmured and I chuckled pulling him inside.

"Hayley who's this" Uncle James asked and I smiled a little.

"This is Theodore he's a friend" I said turning to Theo to find him with furrowed eyebrows and narrowed eyes and he seemed to be glaring.

"Theo?" I called tapping him and he broke off from his trance giving me a little smile.

"Was he the one?" Quavo asked and before I could reply Vandel told them yes and Killian immediately stood up.

"You have some nerves playing with her feelings" Killian said coming to stand in front of him and I sighed.

Can they not do this?

"If you ever mess with her, ever, that'll be the last thing you ever do" he threatened and Theo nodded rapidly.

"Thank you" I muttered to Uncle Killian who smiled at me patting my head.

A part of me was glad they had warned him at least this way he would think twice before playing with my feelings.

"Hay I'm sorry, I have to go" Theo said.

"Now?" I asked.

"Yeah I just remembered something I had to do" he said turning to face me.

"Okay" I replied and he smiled a little pecking my lips before bidding me goodbye and I shut the door behind him.

"Friend huh?" Uncle Killian asked and my cheeks reddened.

"He's bold alright our presence didn't even bother him, he has potential" Quavo said smiling a little.

I reddened even more before fleeing upstairs.

Theo had managed to get Uncle Quavo to like him without doing anything.

Another reason I never had a boyfriend where the four men in the living room who didn't approve of any of the male friends came over saying that they were too soft or naive or lacked boldness.

But they might accept Theo, the thought made me smile a bit.

I opened my room door to find Joan glaring at me.

"I recalled you said you'll be right back?" She asked.

"I'm sorry you can have half my snacks" I suggested.

"Forgiven" she smiled and I rolled my eyes with a smile.
