HAYLEY'S POV

I woke up to be met by the blinding light outside.

It was morning.

I looked around to see Theo standing at the far end of the room and he gave me a small smile.

"Good morning Hay" he said.

"Morning Theo" I replied smiling a little.

"Your breakfast arrived moments ago, Vandel was called by the doctor" he said and I nodded.

"How do you feel?" He asked.

"I can still feel pain in my jaw and stomach but I can't really feel myself" I said and he moved closer to me making me shuffle back into the bed.

He looked at me with worry.

"The nurses brought your medication, I think your painkillers should be there.

"Theo it's cold" I said though the sun was glaring through the window.

"Okay baby" he said going to turn off the air-conditioning.

I grabbed my stomach sitting my eyes trying the dismiss the images in my head.

"Hayley" Theo called and I felt tears welling up in my eyes.

"Theo" I whispered and he rushed over to me crushing me into his chest.

"It hurts" I whispered and began crying.

I suddenly screamed and pushed him away.

"Please don't touch me I'm sorry!" I cried.

"Doc!" Theo shouted and I grabbed my knees feeling invisible hands touching me.

"Please!" I screamed and I heard footsteps entering the room and someone holding me down.

"Hay Hayley!" Theo shouted and I opened my eyes to find him hovering over me.

"It's me, it's Theodore!" He shouted.

"It's just me" he whispered and I felt myself calm down followed by a small prick to see that a nurse had given me am injection.

"This should help" the nurse said and Theo nodded.

"Hayley" Theo called and I felt my muscles relaxing.

"I'm hungry" I said and he nodded pulling a tray that was sitted on the table.

I thanked him grabbing it from him I began eating.

Vandel came back in and smiled once he saw me.

"You're awake" he said and I smiled with a nod.

"Someone is here to see you" he said and I looked up to see Joan at the door.

"It seems the hospital is your new favourite place" she joked and I smiled a little.

She rushed pulling me into a hug and I tensed.

"Joan" I whispered but he crushed me tighter.

"I should have gone with you to school, I'm sorry" she muttered and I shook my head.

"It's alright" I said but she didn't release me and I felt myself begin to tear up.

I knew I was going to push her away and see those images again.

"Joan" Theo called and she pulled back looking at my expression.

"I'm sorry Hay" she apologized and I tried to hold back my tears.

"The doctor said you're good to be released but they need to observe you for two days" Vandel said and I just nodded.

"They are also going to assign you ro a therapist to help with the memory" he said and I nodded not knowing when tears rolled down my eyes.

Joan cleaned them off staring at me with tears in her own eyes.

I knew I looker a mess

"I want to go home Vandel" I said and he nodded.

"Soon babygirl" he said with a small smile.

There was a knock on the door and the doctor came in.

"Good morning Hayley" she greeted and I gave her a small smile.

She grabbed my hands and though I flinched she didn't release me but her eyebrows furrowed at my action.

"I want you to take a walk around the hospital, who do you want to walk with you?" She asked and I looked around.

"Vandel" I whispered and she nodded.

I stared at Theo, looking at him reminded me of his friends and it made me avoid looking him in the eye.

Vandel came over helping me to my feet taking my tray out of my hands.

He pulled the stand of the drip attached to my hand and gently grabbed the other one pulling me outside.

When we had gotten under the sun I felt a bit relaxed.

"I don't want to do therapy" I murmured.

"I know baby girl, it would just be for a while" he assured and I nodded.

"You came when you answered my call?" I asked.

"After your call, I knew something was wrong and you hadn't hung up, so I had Quavo trace down your location while I rushed over to your school, where you were wasn't to far from your school but by the time I arrived, I found the park gate broken and opened and your phone on the floor" he explained.

"I was scared I was too late until I received a call from an unknown number which turned out to be Theodore who told me he had brought you to a hospital" he said and I nodded.

"Did you catch the people" I asked suddenly becoming tense.

"You don't ever have to worry about them again" he said and I frowned.

"You had them killed?" I asked.

"Even if I didn't, Quavo, James, killian or Theodore would have" he shrugged and I smiled a little.

"I want to go home and eat some of your pasta" I said with a small smile and he smiled pressing a kiss to my forehead.

"Of course" he said and we kept on walking.
