CHAPTER 9
Theodore didn't come over that night as he said he would and I hadn't seen him in over a week not just him but his friends also.
I had called him more times than I could remember but there was no response.
I was actually worried.
I was currently in class with my newly made friend Joan who was also taking the same courses as me.
"I haven't seen your boyfriends in a while" she teased and I scoffed she liked teasing me about them.
"I only know one of them" I grumbled.
"Yea yea whatever you say" she smiled.
Joan was a tomboy I could tell from the very first moment I met her, she was carefree and approachable and also gave very good advice.
The best thing was that she didn't abandon her studies.
I had been at the top of my classes since my first year and she had always been in the top ten.
"Look up" she said and I did to find Theodore and his friends trooping in a smile crawling its way up my face.
He looked in my direction and gave a small smile before heading to the back.
"Someone looks a little too happy" she teased and I tried to hide my blush and push her arm.
"It's alright I understand" she laughed.
"Oh and by the way there's a party at the frat house today want to come?" She asked.
"I don't know parties aren't my thing and I haven't been to one before" I groaned.
"Then you're definitely coming you have to at least attend one in your life" she complained.
"I don't want to" I said.
"Come on, when your kids ask you the fun things you did in college you're going to be like: oh I was just the nerdy girl who followed the bad boy and was married to my books" she said dramatically explaining that I couldn't stop my laughter.
"Fine I'll come" I smiled.
"Good, you know your way around right?" She asked.
"Not really" I sighed.
"No biggie I'll come to pick you up" she said and I nodded with a smile.
I turned around to look at Theo damn his side profile was amazing.
Feeling eyes on him he turned to me and I looked away.
I constantly caught myself turning back to get a glimpse of him.
My phone rang and I picked it up to see it was a message from Theo.
*Stop staring you'll drool*
I smiled at the text.
*I doubt it*
*I'm sure your cheeks are bright red right now*
*sorry to disappoint they're not*
*I'm sure once I'm near you they would*
*you wish*
He didn't say anything.
I looked back to find he wasn't in his seat, I looked around and found him marching towards me, we were in the middle of a class!
He didn't seem to care as he march down to where I was and unfortunately, there was a free seat behind me.
I suddenly felt self-conscious, my phone beeped and I looked down at it.
*there's the blush*
I felt myself even blush harder.
I ignored the message and tried to ignore his presence behind me until I felt something at my sides.
I looked down to see he placed his legs on either side of my waist.
I pushed at his legs but he didn't bother moving them.
I turned to look at him to find him smiling at me.
Joan faked a cough and I turned to find her smiling at me.
*drop your legs*
*I wish my hands were there instead*
I glared at the text grateful that the chairs were arranged like that of a stadium so his hands couldn't reach me without anyone knowing what he was trying to do.
My phone beeped again.
*you wish it where my hands cause that can be arranged*
I flushed and dropped my phone.
Ignoring his presence and taunts for the rest of the class.
"Miss me" Theodore asked standing in front of me as I stood up to leave.
"See you later, Hayley" Joan said giving a knowing smirk before she walked away.
"Who's that?" He asked.
"My friend Joan" I replied.
"You have a friend?" He asked and I glared at him.
"Of course" I replied.
"I thought you didn't like friends and I believed it was cool" he said.
"One won't hurt" I replied.
"Where have you been, you weren't in class, and you didn't pick my calls" I complained.
"Something came up" he shrugged.
"Personal stuff?" He asked.
"Not really just important stuff" he said.
"And your friends?" I asked.
"It's related to all of us" he said and I nodded.
"I don't know if you noticed but you look damn cute when flushed" he said placing his hands on my waist and I tensed.
"Theo" I called suddenly nervous but he wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me to him.
"You're supposed to say thank you" he smirked.
"T...than, get off me" I said instead of pushing at his chest.
"You sure you want that?" He bent to whisper in my ear.
"Theo we're in class and rumours have been going around" I said and he pulled back.
"What kind of rumours?" He asked.
"That I'm doing you and your friends and calling me a you know?" I said.
"A what?" He asked in a serious tone.
"A... a... whore" I whispered the word and felt tears prick my eyes I didn't realise how much what they said affected me.
I had just decided to block it out.
"Are you a whore?" He asked.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Are you?" He asked again.
"No!" I yelled wanting to move out of his grip.
"Then don't let it bother you I'll find out the people spreading these rumours and teach them a thing or two about keeping shut" he said mostly to himself.
"Don't do anything" I pleaded.
"You don't have to worry about anything" he said smiling cheerfully again.
"Anyways have a good day" he said pressing a kiss to my cheek before leaving.
I was as red as a tomato.
What did he just do?
