"Things are gonna have to get dirty, hm?"

Not knowing what to do I turned around once more, facing the second vampire. His messy brown hair was covering his forehead. His dark red eyes scanned me and Jake. I looked at Jake before we both shot at the vampires at the same time. My shot reached the male vampire, throwing him back at the door behind him. The vampire hit the door before falling to the ground. I turned back around to check on the other vampire who I saw was still getting closer. "What- you missed?" I looked at Jake as I turned back around to check our back. Before the brown-haired vampire could get up I ran towards him, pulling him up and throwing him towards the black-haired vampire, who pulled his partner up, his face disgusted. "Fucking dumbass, get the fuck up!" The vampire yelled, throwing the other back onto the ground.

Looking towards Jake I gave him a small nod before we took our chance to shoot at the blood drinker. Catching him off guard, the male fell, hitting his head on one of the tables. Not wasting a second Jake and I ran to the door, unlocking it and leaving the coach, getting into the one beside the snack coach.

Taking a deep breath I was about to run towards the snack coach. "Come on, let's go"

The two of us started running again until I heard Jake's voice. I turned around and my eyes widened. Without thinking, I shot at the vampire who was holding onto Jake. Not budging, the male shot back at me, making me trip back and fall, shutting my eyes as the pain spread through my body.

Slowly opening my eyes I felt a grip on my shoulder. Looking up I saw the brown-haired blood drinker pulling me up from where I was. My eyes growing wide, I kicked the vampire, making him let go of me for a second. Starting to run away, I shot at the vampire again. Looking around, I saw no sign of Jake anywhere. I looked back at the blood drinker who was on the floor, still groaning in pain.

"Where are they?!" I asked, pulling him up. He chuckled, not answering. "Do I have to repeat?!" I yelled, pulling the male up higher. "Look into the next coach, you'll see what you want!" I let go of the vampire, getting up and feeling my body shiver. I froze as I stood next to the door, looking out of its small window.

Jake was on the floor, the black-haired vampire on top of him. I stood paralyzed as I heard Jake's yells. Not even noticing, the second vampire suddenly grabbed me from my shoulder pulling me towards him. He leaned into my neck but before he could bite me I held onto him and pushed him away. Knowing there was no way I could help Jake, I ran out of the coach to the snack coach before the vampire could follow me. "Hey! No running on the train!" I ignored the trolly lady's words as I ran to the next coach; the teachers' coach.

"Professor! There...there's a vampire- he has Jake-" I said, panting as I tried to catch my breath. "Jungwon, calm down. I couldn't understand a thing- what is it?" Professor Kim looked at me, confused. "Jisoo" I looked up at the door as it opened and Professor Park came into the coach. "We need you right now, go check on the engineer and come back" the Professor continued. Professor Kim was about to get up when I stopped her.

"No!"

"Jungwon what is it?" I looked at Professor Kim. "The engineer has been bitten...there's a vampire in he-" I was cut off by a sudden noise from behind me. I turned around and I felt my heart stop for a second.

Before I could have done anything, the vampire pointed his finger at the glass, making it shatter into pieces. I lowered my head as the glass flew into the air. Before I could look up again the vampire walked up to me and grabbed my arm. "Guess you were too slow! Say goodbye!" I looked up at the vampire before everything suddenly went black.

A bright light hit my eyes once I opened them before everything became darker again. I looked around, realizing I was now in an unfamiliar bedroom. I looked over at the vampire who finally let go of my arm. "Where are we?" I ask, backing away. "Hey, don't worry, we aren't gonna do anything to you," the vampire said walking to the door. "Not right now at least" the male then left the room locking it behind him. I looked around, biting my lip.

"What do I do now..."

- Author's pov

"Where's the other?" Wooyoung asked, leaving the room and locking it behind him. "In Kai's room, why'd you two bring them here anyway?" Wooyoung shrugged. "I don't know. Yeonjun's orders" the male threw himself onto the couch. "Where's Yeonjun, by the way?" Wooyoung asked looking towards Hongjoong who was pacing around the living room. "Left again to get more students I guess" the male replied, stopping and sighing. "I should go help them now that you're here. You make sure the two don't escape, alright?" Hongjoong looked towards the male on the couch who nodded. "Fine...kinda wanted to join the fun but alright" Hongjoong sighed before giving the male a wave with a smile before disappearing.

Wooyoung sighed, getting up from the couch and walking towards Kai's room. Opening the door he saw the student laying on the bed. "Damn, Yeonjun got you bad..." the vampire walked over to the bed and sat down beside the unconscious male. After staring at the male for a few moments the blood drinker got up, carrying the boy up with him.

Walking towards the small bedroom, he sighed as it started getting harder to carry Jake. Opening the bedroom door, Wooyoung put Jake down as he looked around the small room for Jungwon.

"Little student? You still in there?" Wooyoung called out, walking into the bedroom. "Little student? Seriously? That's the best name you've got?" Wooyoung's gaze quickly turned to where Jungwon's voice came from but before the blood-drinker could've done anything, Jungwon shot at him, making him fly back and hit the hallway wall.

Jungwon then ran to Jake, who was still on the floor, still unconscious. The boy shook his friend a bit before getting up and carrying his friends with him. The student then ran towards what seemed like an exit.

"Where do you think you're going?" Wooyoung's voice made Jungwon pause, his heart racing. The vampire then clenched his fists as the wooden floor beneath the feet of the boy started to slowly break apart. The vampire then got up, swishing his clenched fist to his right, making the wood suddenly break. Jungwon backed away quickly as his eyes opened in fear before he looked back at the blood drinker who was racing towards them.

It was final. He wasn't gonna make it out of here. Jugwon let go of Jake as he prepared to shoot but was too late. The blood drinker took his chance and shot at the boy, making him trip and fall.

"Next time, think before you try to escape, alright?" Wooyoung walked up to the male on the floor, carrying him up and throwing him into the room again. Jungwon groaned as his body hit the cold wooden floor. "Here's your friend! Maybe he'll be able to keep you company!" Wooyoung exclaimed, getting Jake into the bedroom as well. Jungwon looked up at the vampire before he looked down again towards Jake. "Also, don't try to call your little owl friends or whatever. We killed most of them" Wooyoung gave the boy a small grin before leaving the room, locking the door after.

- Jungwon's pov

I bit my lip as I went over to Jake shaking him slightly. "Jake? Jake, please wake up..." I mumbled, shaking the male non-stop. I gave up realizing he wasn't going to wake up. At least he was still breathing...

I looked around the room, looking for a way out. Finding the closed curtains, I realized there was a door that was leading to a balcony. I stood up, but my legs gave up on me the moment I tried getting up. I looked at my left leg, which had started bleeding after I had cut it somewhere without realizing it.

"Jungwon...?" My gaze quickly turned to the male on the floor. "Jake! Oh my god, are you okay?" The male slowly got up, rubbing his eyes. "Where are we? What happened? Your leg's bleeding!" I looked at the male's dark eyes. "You...you were bitten," I said, pointing at the bite on the male's neck. "You seem okay though, maybe the vampire didn't drink much so you weren't affected" Jake nodded before looking at my leg again. "That looks bad- how did you hurt yourself?" The male asked, taking his jacket off and placing it on the wound. "Keep the pressure on it while I look for some first aid kit" I nodded as Jake got up, looking around the room.

"We're at the vampires' hideout I think...I don't know, but stay quiet there's one watching us from outside" I said, pressing the jacket against my leg. Jake turned to me as he opened the closet carefully. "Did they teleport us here?" Jake asked. I nodded in response.

My head turned to the door as I heard a sudden groan from the other side of it. Jake looked at me as we both made eye contact, knowing we had to stay quiet.

"Quick go get the first aid kit from the bathroom!"

I heard a yell before hearing footsteps getting further away from the room we were in. Another groan...

"It looks bad..."

I looked back at Jake, who had closed the closet and was walking back to me as a second voice spoke.

"Oh! You're back!"

My gaze shifted towards the door as I heard the voice of the brown-haired vampire suddenly. A trail of footsteps quickly came closer again before the first person yelled once more.

"Where did you go?! Quick open the damn bag!"

"Yeonjun, don't move, try to stay awake, okay?" The first voice spoke, his voice now soft.

"Did something happen?" The voice of the brown-haired vampire came back.

"Wooyoung, it would be nice if you shut the fuck up right now and waited for us to explain later, hm?" The first voice said, his tone rude again.

"Sheesh, alright"

Everything went silent suddenly. I looked at Jake who was now sitting beside me.

"This will hurt but try to keep your voice low, okay?"

The soft tone came back to the voice of the first male. After a moment of silence, another voice let out a painful yell. My gaze was still on Jake before I heard the first voice speak again.

"I'll just bandage it up, don't move"

"Will this take long?"

A new voice suddenly spoke. I looked down realizing who's voice that was. Yeonjun. The same vampire I saw earlier. The same vampire who bit Jake. I tensed up as the view came back into my head. My thoughts, however, were cut off by a tap on my arm. I looked towards Jake who looked at my leg before looking up and mouthing "how's it?" I looked at the wound, which had stopped bleeding but was still paining. Before I could answer the male's question a laugh from outside the room was heard.

"Where are the two?"

I heard Yeonjun's voice ask before a few footsteps came closer to the door.

"They're supposed to be in here, one of them is still unconscious though...you sure you didn't kill him?"

Wooyoung's voice was just outside the door. I looked at Jake who was laying on the floor again. Was he gonna play dead?...

My breath started quickening as I heard the door being unlocked and I tried to scooch back.

My eyes met with Wooyoung's as he opened the door wide. Not knowing what to do, I just kept backing away. There was no use in using my powers because, in the end, they would still catch me.

"You're the quiet type, aren't you?" The vampire grinned as he came over to me and crouched down to my level, looking me in the eye. "Did I hurt you earlier?" The male asked, looking down at the blood-stained jacket. I looked up at the doorway as another tall male came into sight. "Oh! That's Taehyun! And I'm Wooyoung! What's your name?" He asked, tilting his head. I looked over at Jake who was frozen in his spot before I looked back at Wooyoung.

"You don't need to know my name. Why are we here anyway, have we done anything to you?" Wooyoung let out a scoff. "I don't know...I'm just doing my job!" The male called out, shrugging and getting up before the vampire named Taehyun walked over to Jake.

"Don't hurt him"

Taehyun's eyes turned to me as the male let out a chuckle. "Wooyoung, leave him to me" my eyes opened wide as Wooyoung walked over to Jake as Taehyun started walking towards me. "W-what are you d-doing?" I stuttered out as Wooyoung carried Jake up and walked towards the door. Just when Wooyoung was about to leave though, Jake shot at him, taking him by surprise. Taehyun turned around as Jake fell and got up. Not wasting any time, the student aimed at Taehyun who dodged the shot. Trying to get up, I shot at Taehyun, making him trip, falling onto his knees.

"Jake! Behind you!" I called out as I saw another vampire appear behind him. Before the vampire could even reach Jake, however, he suddenly fell, yelling in pain. I looked at the vampires, who also looked terrified at first but calmed down the moment after.

"What did you do to him?!" I yelled, watching the male as he continued yelling out in pain. "What did you do to him?!" I repeated, shouting louder. "Take him somewhere else and keep your eyes on him, alright?" Taehyun said, getting a nod from Wooyoung and the vampire behind Jake. As Jake's yells started turning into cries the two vampires walked out of the room, taking my friend with them.

I looked over at Taehyun who came closer to me before I started backing away again. Soon hitting the wall, I looked at the tall male as he grinned. "There is no escape, so don't bother trying," he said, now stopping before crouching down.

"Try not to move and it'll be over soon, okay?"

The male gave me one last smile before he pinned me to the ground, holding onto both of my wrists tightly as he leaned into my neck.

Kicking the male...fighting to set myself free...nothing helped as the male was way stronger than me. Even trying to short wouldn't help since my wrists were in his grip.

My fear-filled eyes shut tightly as the vampire sunk his fangs into my neck. A shot of pain and dizziness ran through my body as my screams filled the room before they echoed back to me. Not able to keep myself conscious anymore, I felt my eyes getting heavier and soon everything went black.

- Author's pov

Taehyun shut his eyes as he started dazing off, drunken by the warm, sweet blood of the boy. He felt the body of the male beneath him get cold as his own body started heating up. He wasn't even able to hear the boy's screams anymore as the beast inside of him was finally being set free.

Jungwon's yells became cries, as he couldn't yell any longer. Breath unstable, the male gave up on trying to set himself free. His injured leg hurt even more now that he had been kicking the vampire with it. The blood drinker's grip on his wrists was loosening but he had already given up on trying. He had no energy or power to even try.

Noticing how quiet Jungwon was becoming, Taehyun knew that he was now close to killing the male. The bloodthirst still thriving in him, he continued drinking, showing no mercy to the innocent student.

The vampires on the other side of the door were dealing with Jake, who was now quiet. Kai walked back to the injured Yeonjun, who was still sitting on the couch. Leaving Jake, locked up in the other room, Wooyoung came to sit with Kai.

"What happened? How did you get that?" Wooyoung asked, looking at Yeonjun's injury. "Some kid stabbed me..." Yeonjun replied, looking down at the floor. "Escaped before I could've gotten to him" Wooyoung looked up at the door of Taehyun's room, where it was now quiet.

"You think he'll kill him?" Kai asked, tilting his head. Yeonjun scoffed. "I don't think he'll kill him, I know he will. Taehyun hasn't drunk from a human in what...a year? Blood bags weren't enough to feed his thirst so it's obvious that he'll kill the boy"

"What if...what if he won't die?" Kai and Yeonjun's heads turned to Wooyoung as the question escaped his lips. "What do you mean?" Yeonjun questioned before sitting back, biting his lip in pain as he looked at his lower stomach area where he had been stabbed. "I mean like the trainers back at the VTC" Kai scoffed. "Yeah, right trainers..." Wooyoung looked at Kai, annoyed. "Ignore that part. Like seriously what if he doesn't get affected?" Yeonjun shrugged. "More free blood for everyone then!"

"Told you they were here!"

The vampire's heads turned around to where the sudden voice came from. Now in front of them stood Hongjoong, a few other vampires with him. Beomgyu, Soobin, and San came to sit with the rest while Hongjoong went to the fridge, taking out a bottle of water. "Mingi and Yunho gonna come by themselves?" Wooyoung asked, leaving his seat and walking towards Hongjoong. "Nah, they're watching over some students we left in our apartment. They might come later though. Seonghwa kinda Insisted we let him and Yeosang watch over them" Hongjoong answered, looking around. "Where's Taehyun? Did you get any students?"

Before anyone could have answered Taehyun's bedroom door opened, revealing the male behind the door. "Oh! Hyun!" Taehyun stood in his spot for a moment before he turned to lock to door behind him. "When did you guys come?" The vampire asked, walking towards the others and taking a seat. "Just now...you got anyone in there?" San said, looking towards the bedroom. Taehyun gave no answer, making the room go into an awkward silence.

"Yang Jungwon" The blood drinker suddenly spoke making everyone in the room turn to him. "What?" Yeonjun frowned as Taehyun pulled a card out of his pocket before throwing it to the male. Yeonjun caught the card as Taehyun sighed and sat back.

"I killed him"

Yeonjun looked up his eyes meeting with Taehyun's. "You checked?" He asked, getting a nod in response. Yeonjun looked back down at what seemed like a student ID card. "Yang Jungwon, 16, Air Powered, also has danger sensing powers" he read out, looking at the card. "Where'd you find it?" Hongjoong asked, going to Yeonjun and taking a look at the card. "His wallet, it was in his jacket's pocket" San looked towards Taehyun and let out a scoff. "You only have him? And you killed him?" Taehyun looked towards San, glaring at him.

"What about the other one? Where's he?" Taehyun asked, scanning the room. "In my room" Yeonjun answered, looking towards the room's door. "Don't tell me you killed the second one as well" San said, chuckling. Beomgyu looked at the male, annoyance clear on his face. Taehyun looked back at Yeonjun, now looking at the injury.

"Does it hurt?" Beomgyu asked, looking towards the shirtless vampire. "Eh, I've been through worse it doesn't hurt that much now" Yeonjun responded, looking down before letting out a sigh.

"How many did you catch?" The sudden question escaped Kai's lips making everyone's attention go to him. "Around six right now...we're planning on catching more right now...we kinda made our own plan and now we're following it," Hongjoong said as Wooyoung and San stood up. "Your own plan?" Yeonjun asked, tilting his head. Hongjoong nodded as Soobin let out a sigh.

"San set the train on fire"

"What?!" The voices of Wooyoung, Taehyun, Kai, and Yeonjun exclaimed as the words escaped Soobin's lips. San shrugged. "It's an easy way to get the students to leave it, getting lost in the forest. We know our ways in the forests so it'll be easy to find them. Yeah, Yeonjun killed the captain but that doesn't mean the train can't be driven by someone else. Setting the train on fire was a genius idea!" San explained, looking at Taehyun who looked like he was going mad. Before the male could say anything, however, San put his index finger to his lips. "Don't say anything that could get me mad, I'll kill you on the spot if you do" San threatened, his voice low all of a sudden. The blood drinker then walked to Hongjoong, Wooyoung following. With just one goodbye, Hongjoong and Wooyoung waved before the trio disappeared, leaving the remaining five alone.

"He's been acting weird lately," Beomgyu said, getting up. "What did you do with the second one?" Taehyun questioned, looking towards the bedroom's door. "Drugged him while he was transforming...he's a half" Kai answered. Beomgyu looked towards the door before he started walking to it. "He's a fire powered," Yeonjun said, sitting back. The four vampires turned to him as he looked down.

"Reminds me of myself actually..." Beomgyu stood next to the door, his eyes on the ground. "Don't tell me you feel bad..." the words escaped Beomgyu's lips before he looked up, his eyes on Yeonjun. "No! I mean- I don't it's just we were like that-" Beomgyu scoffed, cutting Yeonjun off. "Yeah alright but we aren't humans anymore. Does anyone treat you like a human? No! Those filthy pieces of shit almost killed you, do you not remember?!" Yeonjun looked down. "They hurt us and they hurt you the most and now you're saying you feel bad?!" Beomgyu yelled out in frustration. "I don't feel bad. Those humans did wrong and they deserve what they're getting. I just said he reminded me of myself before" Yeonjun explained, his face blank.

Beomgyu sighed, placing his hand on the door handle before unlocking the door and opening it. His eyes on the male on the floor, the blood drinker sighed before walking in. Walking up to the student, Beomgyu kneeled down his eyes on the bite on the right side of the student's neck. Without a word, the vampire stood up and went to the wooden chest in the corner of the room, opening a draw and looking through it.

"What're you looking for?" Soobin asked, walking into the room. Not giving an answer, Beomgyu pulled something out of the drawer before shutting it.

"Cuffs? What are you gonna do with handcuffs-?" Soobin asked as Beomgyu walked back to Jake. "He'll wake up soon, we don't want him running off, do we?" Beomgyu replied, grabbing the male on the floor by his wrists and cuffing him to the bed's railing. "Well, what about Jungwon?" Soobin asked as Beomgyu stood up again. "Didn't Taehyun kill him already?" Beomgyu looked at Soobin, confused. "Oh, right-" Soobin's gaze went down to the wooden floor before looking up at Jake. The male then let out a quiet sigh before leaving the room, Beomgyu following.

The five of them were now again in the living room, silence filling the space. "Three years ago..." Taehyun said, breaking the silence. "Hm?" Yeonjun who sat beside Taehyun looked towards him, confused. "We were out on a road trip...Yeonjun took his parents' car without permission, remember?" The male said, chuckling a bit. "Who knew that by the next hour our entire lives would change..."

Kai smiled before looking up at Taehyun. "We got ourselves into this life...if we didn't crash the car we would probably still be on that same train that we just attacked earlier" a laugh escaped the male's lips.

"I didn't know if I was ever gonna see you again," Yeonjun said, looking up towards the four. "I just woke up and everything was suddenly so different..." Beomgyu looked at Yeonjun as he spoke. "I didn't know if I was gonna see you guys again but we met at the VTC and yeah..." Yeonjun looked up, his eyes now meeting with Beomgyu's. Before anyone could say anything, however, a sudden thud came from Taehyun's room making the five vampires turn to the room's locked door.

"You sure you killed him?" Kai asked, looking towards Taehyun who nodded. "He wasn't breathing...I checked" he replied, looking back towards the door before walking to it. "Should I check...?" He asked, looking back to the vampires as the place went silent again. Yeonjun nodded. "Yeah, we don't know if he gets affected or not..." Yeonjun said, making Taehyun turn back to the door. Inserting the key into the keyhole, the male began unlocking the door.

The vampire opened the door wide after unlocking it. Stepping inside, he started looking around the room. Noticing where Jungwon was, he started walking towards him before kneeling beside him. The blood drinker turned around to face the four who were outside the room.

"He's breathing"
