Review
Summary/Blurb: It projects the basic topic and focus of the book, the blurb gives me a GOT vibe.
Summary Rating: 8/10
First paragraph of the first chapter: Curios, one word to describe this. It makes me wonder where the MC is, what he's/she's doing and what's happening in the MCs vicinity.
An adventure book is meant to draw in the reader, put the reader on the edge of his seat and make him wonder what's going to happen next.
This book did that to me.
First paragraph of the first chapter Rating: 10/10
Plot Development/Character Development: The writer took her time to give us a bit of the kingdom, before she jumped into the story telling part in full. Although some scenes felt like there was a lack of information there.
The character development went quite smoothly, she gradually showed us who Faye was, although I had problems identifying Faye's gender.
Plot Development/Character Development Rating: 7/10
Originality:
I think I've said this for every single book that's been featured, this plot is originallllllllll.
I would only feature a cliché book that has original bits to it. I've seen truckload of zodiac books, but I haven't seen on that uses zodiac signs as kingdoms.
Originality Rating: 8/10
Cover Design/Relevance:
Although the cover looked like something designed by a ten year old, it had this beautiful simplicity to it.
The use of a crown as the background for the cover is really nice, it helps portray what the story is about.
Cover Design/Relevance Rating: 7/10
Dialogue/Description:
It would've been quite hard to read this book if the author was very bad at descriptions, this book had a lot to do with world building.
In some scenes though, like the laboratory scene in the first chapter, I felt the scenery wasn't given a good description.
The author is taking us to a new world that things are quite different from ours, she should try to get the descriptions better because some places just left me blank.
Dialogue/Description Rating : 6/10
Interaction with Readers:
The author replied all comments left by readers; this is really nice as it encourages readers to keep reading
Interaction with Readers Rating: 10/10
Grammar/Spelling:
It was like third person POV and first person POV joint together, authors of third person normally have this maturity to their stories.
The author has a lot of professional writing to the story, it was refreshing to read first person that didn't seem like it was scribbled by a 6 year old.
Grammar/Spelling Rating: 9/10
My Opinion:
Adventure stories are rare to come by on wattpad, this author has taken his/her time to craft this story here on wattpad.
It has been an amazing read and hopefully one that would make it to the top of the adventure hot list
I recommend this book to all adventure lovers out there.
My Rating: 13/20
Overall Book Rating: 7.8/10
