"It's done." Yibo sighed, "I am finally free now."

Zhan nodded and smiled, "We should celebrate this."

Yibo sighed, "I just want to go home and sleep. From tomorrow I have to get back to work. It will keep me busy."

Zhan nodded but pressed his lips together and looked down, "Yibo there is something I want to tell you."

"What is it?" Yibo asked and Zhan sighed, he had no idea what should he say, he was worried that Yibo was going to get angry, but it would be better to tell him before he met Tina at the office.

"Let's go home, and then we'll talk."

Yibo nodded, suddenly his phone rang and he saw that it was his dad, while Zhan stayed back and waited for Yibo to be done talking while he was talking, Tina approached Zhan, he glared at her and said, "You didn't have to say those things to him!"

Tina smiled and said, "It's not like I said anything wrong."

"Mind your tongue Tina you have already caused a lot of trouble for him! Leave him alone!"

Tina smiled and said, "Sure, I am nothing to him anymore, and just like you had said I agreed to everything, now it's time to keep up with our deal."

Zhan was about to say something before Yibo said, "What deal?"

Zhan looked at him and Tina smirked, "Oh Mr. Xiao didn't tell you Yibo? I thought he shared everything with you, no problem he will tell you later, about the deal that happened between me and him. Perhaps he was worried about your reaction that's why he hid it from you."

"Enough!" Zhan said in a slightly louder voice, "Get lost!"

Tina smiled and gave Yibo a wink before she walked away and once she was gone Yibo asked Zhan, "What deal was she talking about?" he did not look happy in fact he looked anxious.

"Let's go home and talk."

"No, I want to know right now! What is the deal? And why did you make the deal?" Yibo asked, he was already not happy with everything that happened and also the fact that Zhan had met Tina, and that too behind his back, he was also not happy after hearing everything that Tina had said in front of Zhan, Tina even got the chance to talk to Zhan and Yibo despised that.

He wanted this to be over so he did not have to see Tina again and he and Zhan could move on but now he was learning about some deal that he had no idea about. Why would Zhan not tell him? Why would he lie?

"What was the deal?"

Zhan rubbed his forehead and said, "I offered her a high-paying job at my company. At a high position."

Yibo felt like someone had punched him in the gut, he felt a pit forming in his stomach and his heart dropped when he heard that, Tina was going to work at the same place as he was and she was going to work under Zhan and she would be meeting Zhan often. He felt that his safe place was in danger. He felt so angry and frustrated that he just walked away from there without hearing anything else.

Zhan walked after him and said, "Yibo listen to me... Yibo."

Yibo walked towards the car and Zhan tried to grab his hand, but Yibo yanked his hand away, Zhan was shocked because this was the first time Yibo had done something like this and he felt hurt, he looked at Yibo's expression and saw that Yibo was so angry, Zhan did not like that.

"Yibo."

"I don't want to talk to you!" Yibo said, "I don't want to see you!"

Zhan grabbed his arm, "Get in the car."

Yibo who was still angry, tried to get out of Zhan's grip, "Let me go I don't want to I-"

"Yibo get in the car!" Zhan said in a louder voice which made Yibo stop as he looked at Zhan, Zhan regretted raising his voice but right now he knew that Yibo didn't want to hear him and gentleness would not work, "Don't make me repeat my words. Get. In." Zhan opened the car door and gently pushed Yibo inside the car.

Yibo sat in the car in silence and said nothing, he took out his earbuds plugged his ear, and started to listen to some music, Zhan wanted to talk to him but he saw that Yibo was listening to music so he said nothing and drove in silence.

Once they reached Yibo's house, Yibo got out of the car and ran inside his house, he didn't bother to talk to his dad and didn't even look at Zhan and went straight to his room.

Zhan was still in his car when he got the call from Simon, "Zhan, is your work done?"

"Yeah."

"Then come to the office please, you have to attend these meetings, they can't be postponed any more, some matters need your attention."

Zhan clenched his fist, "just talk to Dad."

"Dad is already busy with his other projects, calling him will only increase the burden on him, you know it's not good for his health." Of course, he knew that it would be selfish of him to neglect his work and make others do his work, he knew there were some urgent matters at work, and he had to attend them.

He had already neglected a lot of his work, but since Simon himself called him, Zhan knew that it was urgent. He wanted to go to Yibo and clear the misunderstanding, he sighed, "I will be there."

He decided to talk to Yibo in the evening; he would make him sit down and explain everything to him. He was sure that Yibo would understand.
