Y/N POV:

I went downstairs to see Frisk and Toriel fighting

I remember seeing a vision in my dreams of Frisk picking up their toy knife and slicing Toriel as I ran towards them

I didn't think it would happen but it was going to happen

So I ran as fast as I could towards Toriel as Frisk picked up their knife

I panicked then ran faster while Frisk hit the fight button

Then right at the nick of time I ran infront of Toriel getting hit instead

I fell down holding the cut on my chest

"Ow.....I guess....I made it....in.....time......"

My body went limp as I started to close my eyes

Chara was infront of me now crying

Chara: no! Y/N! Don't die! Please! Don't close your eyes!

"Sorry...."

Chara: you were the first human to be so nice to me! You can't die on me!

"Ha...ha....."

I was starting to bleed

"Sorry.....Chara"

I closed my eyes

"See you"

Chara: no! I never told you—

I felt my soul exit my body and broke

......

Then I woke up in my room breathing heavly

What happened? Another dream? Then....

That means!

I get up quickly and run downstairs

Toriel: ahead of me lies the end of the ruins, I am going to destroy it

Toriel and Frisk were talking, I followed them quietly and watch them from afar

It was difficult to hear but the last thing I heard was

Toriel: fight me or run away!

Then I decided to show myself

"Mom...?"

Toriel looks at me surprised

"Why.....are you fighting Frisk?"

Toriel: m-my child! I can explain!

"No worries, I'm not mad. Frisk why do you want to leave?"

Frisk: so I can progress to Asgore and free the monsters!

"How do you plan on freeing the monsters?"

Frisk: ....I don't know but I can try to talk to him!

"Talk? You were about to hurt mom"

Frisk: I'm sorry, I didn't know what else to do

"I forgive you, but you must only spare.  For the sake of peace and mercy"

I give a small smile then walk up to Toriel

"Sorry mom, but our time together with you was enjoyable!"

Toriel: no...I won't let another child leave and die! I won't let Asgore kill another child!

"Well I cannot say whether we will not get hurt, but I can assure you that we will be back mother"

Toriel started to cry as I come closer to hug her

"Sorry, you will be lonely here won't you?"

Toriel: .....you may leave

"What?"

Toriel: I was being selfish, you two may leave the ruins.....

Toriel hugs both of us

Toriel: I guess....this is where we say goodbye...my children.....

"Oh yeah! Right before we leave"

I point at Frisk

"This is Frisk"

I smile then place my hand on my chest

"Y/N L/N is me!"

Then I point at Chara

"and Chara misses you very much and loves you!"

Toriel looks at me shocked

"Bye mother! We will be back!"

Me and Frisk exit the ruins
