The Danganronpa World... With Junko on the loose, ready to bring them down to despair....

Junko: (hums as she watches from above) Looks like it's finally my time to shine, eh, Mushi-kun~

Mushi: (grins darkly) Indeed. Get rid of them before they become a hindrance to Master's plan. 

Junko: You got it~ Upupupu~ This is going to be so much fun~ (disappears)

Mushi: Aha~ And now, it's time to return to Master. (closes eyes, a dark mist envelops them before they disappear too)

Nearby Hope's Peak, the portal opens up and spits the 30 humans, incarnation, Youkai and CGs on the ground before closing just like that, leaving the 29 of them to their own devices. 

Chenhua: (lands on top of the entire group) AIYOWEI! MY BACK HURTS!

Tadeoniu: (groans) YOU THINK?!

Jorogumo: (screams) GET OFF EVERYONE! I'M AT THE STUPID BOTTOM!

Kai: Get off, Chenhua-san!

Chenhua: Alright alright! Sheesh, you guys are impatient!

Thankfully, they manage to rearrange themselves after dispersing.

Natsume: Phew....

Ungaikyou: (sighs in relief) That's much better.

Lucy: You mean MUCH MUCH better. 

Ryaku: Gah... I haven't felt this good in a while.. (grins) And even more seeing you all here. 

Chilly: Bloody! Mountaineering!

Mountaineering: Chil! Nade! 

The 3 CGs and 1 human race to each other before getting into a big hug.

Tenade: I missed you guys so much! I was crazy worried for you!

Bloody: Aw, Nade, you didn't have to! Your younger brother took good care of me! 

Tenade: (blinks) E-Eh?... 

Akinori: N-Neesan! (rushes to hug her) 

Tenade: (barely manages to hug him back) K-Kinori! (tears up) I missed you so much!

Akinori: L-Likewise! (tears up too)

Ayame: Aww, that's so sweet! (smiles)

Tenade: (grins softly) Hey there, I'm Arihoshi Tenade. 

Rasen: (laughs) Akinori tells tons of stories about ya! I never realised that you were THAT Tenade until you used your Youki back at Alfea!

Jorogumo: (chuckles) Yeah. She's like Cuddly alright. 

Bao En: The soft yet hard type? (grins) Does Jorogumo have a crush on Cuddly? 

Jorogumo: E-EH?! (blushes scarlet) N-No way! W-Why would I?! 

Ungaikyou: (hums) Trying to deny it? You admitted it when they called, remember? 

Jorogumo: I-I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!

Rau: H-Huh?... (ears perk up) Jorogumo has a boyfriend?~

Touma: (nods) Y-Yeah! H-He's a really nice guy, I think! 

Ungaikyou: Yep!~

Ryaku: (laughs) No hiding this now, Jorogumo!

Jorogumo: A-AHHHHH! (covers her face) S-Spare meeeeeeee!

Tenade: (giggles) 

Bloody: And speaking of which, Reaper, why were you blushing when you landed on top of Mister Movien? (smirks)

Reaper: W-What are you talking about? (looks away)

Ungaikyou: Now that I think about it, you look red too, Sir. 

Movien: I-I have no idea what you're talking about. 

Mountaineering: Awww~ So adorable! (innocent smile) 

Reaper: I-IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK! (blushes) 

Lizzy: (grins) Sure it's not! 

Ceels: Just be honest, Reap! (smirks)

Rasen: Come on, Movien! I have never seen you so flustered before! 

Tireni: (laughs) This is hilarious! (hand snakes around Tadeoniu's waist)

Tadeoniu: (blushes slightly) R-Reni!

Manuel: (grins, does the same to Ceels) Gotta make sure the message gets across, Deoniu-nii. 

Ceels: (flushes) Aiya... 

Choiseung: (stares) Geez, these people sure don't know any boundaries, do they? 

Kai: (shrugs) It's natural to us. 

Ayame: (giggles, holds Akinori's hand) It's great that you guys are being honest!

Akinori: Yeah! 

Konju: (blinks) I don't understand what they're doing here, Ruke. 

Y Aruke: Don't worry, KonKon. I'm just as confused as you are. 

Natsume: (looks around, feels confused)

Akino: (looks at Natsume) What's wrong, Natsume-chan? 

Natsume: (blinks) Erm, has anyone seen Keisuke? I didn't see him when we landed...

At that, the group who knows about what happened to Keisuke freezes up. 

Kuriwa: I-It's a long story... (grips Lucy's hand tighter than before)

Lizzy: Y-Yeah....

Natsume: Huh? (looks even more confused) I don't get it. Why are you guys so tense? 

Choiseung: (coughs) A-About that, Natsume... 

Tireni: Keisuke... Keisuke's not who you think he is...

Touma: E-Eh? 

Chenhua: What are you talking about? 

Kuriwa: (looks down) H-He's... He's... 

"He's Enoshima Junko's reincarnation AND Aruke-san's champion...."

Chenhua freezes up hearing that, as do Jorogumo, Ungaikyou, Touma, Rasen and most importantly Natsume.

Natsume: W-WHAT?! (looks stunned)

Ungaikyou: W-Wait! Keisuke is Enoshima Junko's reincarnation?! 

Tireni: (nods) W-We didn't see his awakening directly, but Junko... Junko nearly killed us... 

Ryaku: HOW?! 

Kuriwa: (soft) W-We insulted him.... Made his despair reach its peak....

Akinori: N-No.... 

Natsume: H-How can he be Aruke-san's champion, though?... D-Don't Rasen or Jorogumo fit the role more?... 

Manuel: (shakes his head furiously) It makes sense once you realise the truth about him! How can you say that, Natsume?!

Y Aruke: Yeah! He's your brother! 

Touma: The truth about him?...

Akino: That he's been hiding behind a mask. A scared mask in order to hide his true self. 

Jorogumo: E-Eh?! (eyes widen) I-I DID suspect that for a while, but I never expected to be right....

Touma: Why though?... 

Tireni: I believe it may be because of Kenji's accident. 

Natsume: (scoffs) Yeah right. That was an accident. Nothing else. 

Tireni: (growls) Excuse me?! He risked blowing his cover to save you during the Soranaki invasion, and this is how you treat him?! No wonder he fell into despair so easily! You're so ignorant!

Natsume: (glares) What did you say?! How DARE you say that! 

Tireni: No, how dare YOU hurt him so deeply! He must have been so lonely! No one could truly understand his pain, his feelings! Not even his own stupid sister! And yet... And yet he still cared for you! You were the one who hurt him the worse, yet he still gave you so much credit! He was so supportive of you! You can't find anyone like him anywhere else! WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?! 

Everyone gasps hearing that, especially Natsume, who looks considerably shaken.

Kai: W-What the?....

Kuriwa: Re-nii...

Manuel: (soft) Tireni-nii, you... 

Tireni: (firm tone as he looks at Natsume, holds his gaze) Well? Am I wrong, Natsume? Am I wrong? 

Natsume: (is frozen, unable to speak) I-I... 

Touma: H-Hey! S-She's just recovering from the tons of mental pressure she was put through! D-Don't make it even worse!

Tireni: (ignores him) Tell me, Natsume. Tell me if I'm wrong. 

Natsume: (shakes) I-I-

Suddenly, a shout of relief sounds out, which makes everyone turn to look at the source. 

Tireni: (eyes widen) N-Naegi!

True to his words, the SHSL Hope is running towards him, Hinata Hajime by his side.

Naegi: (relieved) Tireni-san! You're okay! 

Tireni: Of course I'm okay. (looks confused) What are you talking about?

Hajime: (sighs) We were worried otherwise. I'm Hinata Hajime, by the way. 

Tireni: I know. (smiles) I play the games too. You're a pretty cool character!

Hajime: (grins) Thanks! I appreciate the compliment! It's rare to hear them from around here. 

Tadeoniu: Are they still hostile towards you because of the Remnants of Despair thing? 

Hajime: (shrugs) At some point. 

Chenhua: Then don't feel down. (stern) You're a great person Hajime-kun. 

Hajime: (chuckles) Already know that, but thanks!

Ryaku: (grins) Great! 

Naegi: But where's Keisuke-kun?...

Junko: (cackles) I'm right here!~

All: H-HUH?! 

Suddenly, a bunch of Monokumas surround the group while a familiar figure drops from the sky to land in front of them.

Mountaineering: (growls) Monokumas!

Mukuro: (eyes widen as she spots Junko) JUNKO!

Kuriwa: E-Enoshima...!

Junko: Upupupupupupu~ Yes it's me~ Enoshima Junko, the SHSL Despair!~ (grins darkly as she towers over them)

The scene is cut there as everyone looks at Junko, looking shocked and in disbelief. 

Why? 

Because on her right hand's ring finger...

There's a familiar ring sitting comfortably, oblivious to the despair it was bringing. 

The music starts playing as Natsume Amano turns into Shuka's awakened form, then Akino Kin opens up the game system as Ryaku Mizuya opens up his Magical Gates and Young Aruke Kin activates the Nature power.)

Episode 26: A Painful Reunion! The Despair Fight!

Lucy: K-Keisuke?....

Hajime: Junko! (gets into a battle stance)

Chenhua: (stunned) T-That ring....!

Junko: Hm?~ (looks at it) Oh this little thing?~ ("modest") This isn't mine!~ It's Keisuke's!~

Natsume: K-KEISUKE!

Junko: (snickers as she turns to her) Aw~ Do you FINALLY miss your bwother, Natsume~

Natsume: W-What are you talking about?! (shakes a bit)

Junko: (hums) Oh I don't know~ It was mainly because of you that I could come out, honestly!~

Natsume: W-What?.... (involuntarily takes a step back)

Shuka: (serious) Explain yourself, Enoshima!

Junko: (shrugs nonchalantly) Well, Mushi-kun helped out, to be honest!~ But in general we reminded him that you don't care about him anymore!~

Natsume: (eyes widen) T-THAT'S NOT TRUE!

Junko: (smirks) You sure?~ Because you seemed to have forgotten about the effect Kenji's death had on him!~

Choiseung: (eyes narrow) The effect Kenji's death had on Keisuke?

Junko: Yep! (pops the "p") Don't tell me you didn't know that Keisuke and Kenji were more than just friends!~

Rau: (eyes widen) W-Wait, are you saying that...?

Junko: (grins, flaunts the ring once more) Hai!~ Kenji's death was NOT an accident!~ It was supposed to be Keisuke's death!~ (grabs a Monokuma and hides behind it, uses his voice) Upupupu~ How despairful!~ To think that Kenji's own parents set it up because they couldn't BEAR to let their beloved son be taken away by poor Keisuke!~ (sets down the Monokuma, puts on glasses, mature tone) Luckily, Kenji realised it on time and sacrificed himself in Keisuke's stead. His parents were shocked to bits, but they soon put the blame on Keisuke. (takes the glasses off, smiles cutely) That was how we reminded him about his incompetency! About how useless he was! Cause no one ever noticed his silent pain! His screams which echo in his heart, but were never heard! Especially by his own sister, who purposely blocked them out because she couldn't STAND hearing them!~

Touma, Akinori, and Ayame's eyes widen as their heads swivel over to said girl, who's looking down, unable to say a word.

Akinori: N-Natsume, d-don't tell me she's telling the truth...!

Natsume: I-I.... (goes silent)

Touma: N-No.....

Junko: AHHAHAAHHAHHA~ YOU'RE SUCH A HORRIBLE SISTER NATSUME~

Movien: G-Guys... (looks worried)

Bloody: W-What the...?

Bao En: He must have suffered a lot....

Tireni: But that gives us more motive to bring him back! (growls) We're bringing Keisuke back, Enoshima! 

Y Aruke: Y-Yeah! You're not alone, Keisuke!

Kuriwa: Y-You still have us! S-So COME BACK! PLEASE!

Junko: Oho~ Sorry, but he can't hear you!~ (mocking tone) So just give up~ Realise that this is futile~ 

Mukuro: (looks so pale) J-Junko... W-Why?... 

Naegi: W-Wake up, Junko! Please! (desperate)

Junko: (rolls eyes) Wake up from what, exactly, Naegi-kun?~

Mukuro: T-This isn't you, Junko!

Chilly: (looks at Mukuro, feels confused, thinks: Mukuro?... ) (whispers) What are you talking about, Mukuro?... 

Junko: Eeeh~ Why should I listen to you, Neechan?~ (tilts head) 

Mukuro: B-Because... (goes silent)

Junko: (mocking) Huh, can't even think up a good comeback, Neechan? Geez, you're so useless!

Mukuro: (stays silent before letting Tenade come out)

Tenade: E-Eh?... Mukuro?... 

Junko: (hums) Serves her right!~ She didn't play along during the game after all!~

Akino: (scowls) Give Keisuke back, you witch! 

Junko: (tilts head) Witch?.... (eyes seem to glaze over for a while)

Inside, Keisuke is watching this unfold with pain in his eyes.

Keisuke: E-Everyone... (whispers) 

Suddenly, he feels a wave of a familiar emotion resonate through him. He blinks. 

Keisuke: E-Eh?... W-Why is Junko feeling regret?.... 

Back outside, Junko's glazed eyes stare back at them.

Junko: (whispers) So that's what you think of me... (smiles darkly) Very well, I guess I'll have to treat you to an execution. (turns to her minions) MONOKUMAS! GET THEM!

Monokumas: HAI!!! (rush forward)

Tenade: (growls) We're not losing to you, Junko! For Mukuro's sake! 

Natsume: Y-Yeah! (gets up shakily) F-For Keisuke too!

Jorogumo: (nods) Let's go, guys!

Lizzy: We have to stay strong!

Tadeoniu: (determined) N-No backing away!

Reaper: We can't lose now! We have friends counting on us!

Konju: You won't hold Keisuke anymore!

Ceels: LET'S DO THIS! 

All: OH! 

Manuel: Come on, Light Enchanters!

LEs: Got it! Magical Gates, Open!

All their eyes glow in unison as they lunge for the Monokumas, their magic at the ready.

Jorogumo: Agency, rally up! 

Choiseung: Got it! (inserts some arks into his watch, begins shooting)

Chenhua: (does the same with his arks)

Akino: (activates the battle system with Rau) We won't lose!

Jorogumo: (calls out her Nature magic) Let's go!

Rasen: You got it! Sunshine Dance! (shoots it at 3 Monokumas, destroys them)

Y Aruke: (slides beside Jorogumo) Fellow Nature magic holder, huh? 

Jorogumo: (chuckles) Yep. I think I was the first to hold it. 

Y Aruke: Well then, let me help you! (activates his daggers) Blazing Inferno! (throws towards 3 Monokumas)

Movien: Time to dance, Ungaikyou!

Ungaikyou: Yes sir! (goes into Kagemi, stabs 5 Monokumas)

Movien: Princess Distress! (summons a golden lasso, uses it to grabs some Monokumas and hold them in place) 

Konju: (uses his nunchucks to destroy them) Thanks! 

Movien: No problem! 

Ayame: (kicks her hearts towards some Monokumas coming up from behind Choiseung and Chenhua) You okay, Choi-nii, Chen-nii?!

Choiseung: Yeah! (goes back to back with her and Chenhua) This battle is getting ferocious! We should be on guard!

Chenhua: Noted! Let's do this!

Ayame, Choiseung: OH! 

Tenade: (fights with Akinori) Nice to see you again, Otouto! How's Baabaa?! 

Akinori: (grins) She's fine! I'm fine too! What about you?! 

Tenade: (blasts 5 Monokumas with a grin) I'm fine! Now let's end this! 

Akinori: Alright! 

Natsume: (throws off all the Monokumas coming her way with the whip, looks determined)

Touma: (helps her with the fighting with an aura sword) You holding up Natsume?! 

Natsume: Yeah! What about you Touma?! 

Touma: I'm going fine! We need to get to Keisuke!

Natsume: No need for words-

Bao En: (horrified) LIZZY!

THAT catches everyone's attention as they turn to look at the girl, who's on the ground, breathing heavily, a deep claw mark on her.

Ryaku: LIZZY! (tries to rush over, but a Monokuma suddenly appears behind him and attacks him) GAH! 

Bao En: (even more horrified) RYAKU!

Junko: Ohohohoho~ This is hopeless you know~ Because I already won!~ (grins) You are all to blame for this happening!~ If any of you had bothered to even know Keisuke-kun more, then maybe this wouldn't have happened!~ Geez! You're such terrible best friends!~ (aims that towards the Agency) 

Akinori: (eyes widen) S-SHUT UP! KEISUKE IS STILL IN THERE! I BELIEVE THAT!

Junko: Yet why did he choose to succumb to me? (smirks) The answer's simple; because truth can be full of despair too. And the truth is that despair has won. So just give up. 

Hearing that, everyone stops, feeling as if electricity had gone through their bodies.

Ayame: .... (looks down, quiet tone) S-She's right.... I-If we had noticed this early on, m-maybe... J-Just maybe.... 

Touma: (nods softly) Y-Yeah... 

Akinori: W-Why, Natsume?... W-Why did you do that?... 

Natsume: E-Everyone?... (eyes are wide)

Junko: (appears beside her, whispers) Why DID you ignore his pleas for help?~ Was it because you were ashamed that Keisuke wasn't normal?~ Or was it because you believed that he should have died too?~ 

Natsume: I-I would never!

Junko: You sure?~ Because you seemed to be more focused on solving cases than caring for your brother's mental health~ You knew about his abilities, yet you made others believe that he was a coward~ No one cared for him~ They all made fun of him~ ALL~ BECAUSE~ OF~ YOU~ 

Natsume: N-NOOOOO!!!! (goes to her knees, begins to sob uncontrollably)

Akino: (despair is in his tone) N-Natsume.... 

Chenhua: W-Why?... 

Rau: W-We were such idiots... 

Choiseung: (looks down) Yeah....

Naegi: D-Don't give up guys! (tries to blast some Monokumas, but Junko blasts him first) GAH!

Hajime: NAEGI! (is blasted too) AGH! 

Tireni: NAEGI! HAJIME! (looks terrified) 

Tadeoniu: N-No... (looks down) W-Why?... 

Lizzy: (grunts, tries to get up as Shuka heals her) W-We're not done yet!

Ryaku: (nods, is helped up by Gentou and Hakushu) Y-Yeah! We won't lose!

Tenade: For everyone's sake! We'll defeat you! 

Junko: (chuckles) You've already lost!~ MONOKUMAS! 

Monokumas: HAI! (lunge for the group)

Lucy: (plays Danganronpa's opening, destroys the Monokumas)

Junko: (smirks) They fell for it!~ (calls out a huge blast, lobs it towards the group)

Tireni: (notices, eyes widen) GUYS-!

But before he can finish that sentence, the group is blasted back, injuring them seriously.

Bloody: AHHHHHH! (hits a wall, winces in pain)

Chilly: (slams nearby her with Mountaineering) GAH!

Junko: (laughs mockingly) Well~ Looks like you guys are goners!~ (charges up a HUGE blast) Bye bye~ (then throws it their way)

With all their injuries, none of them can move, forcing them to succumb to their seemingly inevitable deaths.

Natsume: (whispers) I-I'm so sorry, Keisuke.... (sobs)

The blast gets closer and closer. Despair pools in their hearts. Tears fall down their cheeks as they slowly begin falling into Junko's "favourite" emotion.

Junko: (cackles) Yes yes yes! It's happening!

Mukuro: I-I'm so sorry Junko... (looks down) I-I couldn't save you...

Kuriwa: K-Keisuke.... I-I'm so sorry... I'm so sorry for looking down on you... 

Akino: D-Dad... I failed you.... 

Ceels: Headmaster.... We're so sorry....

Konju: Ruke...  

Y Aruke: I-I.... (looks down) We lost.... (tears fall) We lost we lost we lost we lost... 

Manuel: Aruke.... (soft)

Despair is in the air now....

The blast is about to hit them...

The blast suddenly explodes, shocking everyone as it disperses into nothingness. 

Junko: W-WHAT THE?! (looks genuinely shocked) 

?????: Sorry to break your parade, Junko, but that's not happening while I'm around. 

Akino: (recognises the voice, eyes widen) 

A figure drops down in front of the ground, letting his cloak down as he looks up at the rest.

Choiseung: W-Wait! Y-You're...! 

Natsume: (looks stunned into silence) C-Could you be...? 

Naegi, Hajime: (faces light up, grins appear) LEADER! 

Standing in front of them, with a familiar watch strapped to his wrist, is....

Keita: (grins) Yo, Naegi, Hajime-nii. 

Junko: SHUT UP!

Tireni: Keita's right! We have to keep our hopes high!
