The door opens to reveal Taichi, Daisuke and Ken, who all blink as they see Tadeoniu and Akino.

Taichi: H-Huh?... Who are you? (looks confused)

Tadeoniu: (blinks for a while before his eyes widen) W-Wait! You guys are...!

Ken: We are?

Tadeoniu: Yagami Taichi, Motomiya Daisuke, and Ichijouji Ken! (eyes go sparkly) From Digimon Adventure 02! I'm a huge fan!

Akino: Hold on, really?! (looks giddy) I love that show as well!

Tadeoniu: You kidding me?! (turns to Akino with a smile) Are you a Digimon fan?

Akino: Of course! It's one of the best old animes there are!

Tadeoniu: I know right?! (grins) What about Detective Conan or Monster Ranchers then? Do you like those too?

Akino: Why wouldn't I? They're so cool!

Tadeoniu: Kahore he feaa e pā ana ki taua! (No doubt about that! {Maori})

At that, Akino blinks.

Akino: E-Eh? What on Earth did you just say?

Tadeoniu: H-Huh?... (eyes widen) Aiya! I changed languages without knowing! I'm so sorry! I'm just used to it because my friends usually have a Maori dictionary in their phones!

Akino: It's fine! (waves it off) I usually do that as well.

Tadeoniu: You sure?

Akino: (nods with a smile) Yeah! I'm okay with it!

Tadeoniu: (smiles back) Thanks! I really appreciate it!

Akino: No problem!

Taichi: (just looks plain confused)

Ken: (blinks, tilts head slightly)

Daisuke: (loads that for a while)...... Oh. (blinks) They're non-fictioners. They mentioned Detective Conan and Monster Ranchers, meaning that they're not from this world.

That word made the two stop their excited banter for a while, slowly turning to look at Daisuke, their faces the epitome of disbelief.

Akino: (shocked) R-Repeat what you said?

Daisuke: (looks confused) I was right, wasn't I? You guys are non-fictioners.

Akino: How do you know about us?! You fictioners aren't supposed to!

Tadeoniu: (stares at Daisuke) T-That's a good question...

Ken: (thinks: Yikes, looks like Leader really was right when he said that the worlds were destabilizing... Why on Earth did he tell us that he could handle it alone?....) (mental groan) (thinks: You better know what you're doing, Leader. Otherwise, us Youkai Acknowledgers won't ever let you go for this. ... On another note, Daisuke's in trouble. Should I help him?... Meh, this is revenge for that time you pranked me in HyTS. Plus, Miyako HAD been planning on getting back at you for the time you destroyed her action figurines. This will be satisfying payback.)

Daisuke: Erm.... (is unable to make up a story) It's a long story...

Akino: (crosses arms) May we get the short version?

Tadeoniu: Preferably the one-sentence one, because I have to get back to my friends. The book burning case is going to get worse while we're gone-

Akino: Wait, hold up! (looks at Tadeoniu) You're looking into it too?!

Tadeoniu: Y-Yeah.... (nods)

Akino: W-Wow... I'm looking into it too!

Tadeoniu: R-Really?! Why?!

Akino: C-Cause... of personal reasons...

Tadeoniu: Personal reasons? (curious)

Akino: (nods as he looks down, face is shadowed) M-My dad disappeared the day the case started...

Tadeoniu: Your dad?... (scans Akino's face, eyes widen) Wait, can you please tell me what your surname is?

Akino: I-It's Kin...

Tadeoniu: (eyes widen slightly) Then could you be the same Kin Akino from Help from the Shadows?

Akino: (blinks) Help from the Shadows?

Tadeoniu: M-My friend chronicled it... It's about you guys saving her brother and her friends...

Akino: Brother?

Tadeoniu: (nods) M-My friend's name... Is Arihoshi Tenade....

Akino's eyes widen, and the screen then fades into black as the other 3 just stare in shock.

(The music starts playing as Natsume Amano turns into Shuka's awakened form, then Akino Kin opens up the game system as Ryaku Mizuya opens up his Magical Gates and Young Aruke Kin activates the Nature power.)

Episode 16: A Windy Holiday on a School Day

Akino: ARIHOSHI?! (stunned)

Tadeoniu: Y-Yeah.... B-But she was adopted by Reni... S-So her full name would be Arihoshi Remira Tenade....

Akino: Wait... How is that possible?...

Tadeoniu: H-Huh?

Akino: I remember Dad saying that his chronicler was a half-fictioner, half non-fictioner....

Tadeoniu: E-Eh?! (eyes widen) She's a half?!

Akino: I guess so...

Taichi: Isn't she the Bone Murderer, though?...

At that, Tadeoniu's head swivels over to Taichi.

Tadeoniu: (unable to believe it) H-How do you know that?!

Taichi: Well, it happened in the fictional world. But there were some murders done in the non-fictional world as well, which is why both worlds had the cases.

Tadeoniu: I-I see.... (thinks: So that's why Tenade-chan's case was lighter than she remembered.)

Akino: (jaws drop) That is just mind-blowing! (frowns) But how was the case here closed? I mean, our world's case was closed with a Reaper as the murderer.

Tadeoniu: (sweatdrops slightly, thinks: Not going to tell him about Reaper. Nope, nil, nada, you won't hear this from me for sure.)

Taichi: Well, Kin Aruke closed the case-

Tadeoniu, Akino: HE DID?! (leans in to Taichi)

Taichi: Y-Yeah! (looks confused) He's a detective here. Didn't you know that? 

At that, Akino growls.

Akino: And yet again he leaves something out! Gosh, when I find Dad, I swear I will not let him go for this one! (goes into mumbling, a dark aura surrounds him as he takes out his notebook and starts scribbling)

Tadeoniu: (gulps slightly) T-That's kinda scary....

Ken: (blinks) Is it?

Daisuke: Yeah, this isn't as bad as Koushirou-san.

Taichi: NO ONE can ever beat Koushirou. (makes a cross with his hands) Never. That guy could ramble for an hour straight without drinking water, and most of the people in the room wouldn't understand it. AT ALL.

Ken: Well I can. So can Miyako, Jianliang, Iori, Junpei, Tohma, Yoshino, and Ren.

Taichi: You're the smart cookies! What about us Goggleheads?

Ken: (shrugs) Who told you guys to be stupid?

Daisuke: HEY! TAKE THAT BACK! 

Ken: (grins mockingly) As if I would, Daisuke. 

Daisuke: (pouts) Fine! I'll tell Miyako about that prank you pulled on her before. 

Ken: (eyes darken) You WOULDN'T. 

Daisuke: (sadistic smile)  Oh, I dare. Who do you think you're talking to, Ken? 

Taichi: (facepalms at Daisuke) Just agree with us already, Ken. No one can beat Koushirou in a rambling contest. Otherwise, Daisuke might go through with his threat, and you know how terrifying Miyako can be. 

Tadeoniu: (thinks: Well, there IS actually one person.) (an image of Izuku Midoriya is thought up in his head) (sweatdrops) (thinks: Yep, no one can beat Izuku. Not even Koushirou. Though no offence to him of course.) 

Somewhere, a red-haired genius sneezes, but when asked if he was okay, he just nods in reply. 

Back with the group, Ken rolls his eyes. 

Ken: Fine, oh fine. You two pouty heads win. (grins at their disbelieving faces) 

Daisuke: (dark tone) Ichijouji Ken... I WILL get back at you once this crisis is over. I promise on my status as the Chosen Child of Miracles. 

Taichi: (nods in agreement) I promise on MY status as the Chosen Child of Courage that you will get what you deserve. (grins evilly) And you know that I keep my promises. 

Ken gulps seeing their dark faces, and is about to go down to his knees to beg for mercy when Tadeoniu saves him. 

Tadeoniu: (curious) Crisis? What crisis are you guys talking about? 

THAT freezes the duo up.

Daisuke: (thinks: MUSHROOMS!)

Taichi: (thinks: AIYAAAAA!!! WHAT DID WE JUST DO?!)

Thankfully, Akino answers it for them.

Akino: I think it may have something to do with the book burning case and Dad's kidnapping.

Tadeoniu: Wait, hold up! (alarmed) Aruke-san was kidnapped?!

Akino: According to Chaos, anyway.... He doesn't know who it is, though....

Tadeoniu: That's bad! (goes pale) If he's been kidnapped, then the multiverse would fall apart- (freezes) Wait... (slowly looks at the trio) I-Is this the crisis you were talking about?

The three just nod, confirming Tadeoniu's words.

Akino: (eyes widen) No way...

Taichi: We wish that this was a joke, alright.

Daisuke: But it's not.

Ken: The multiverse is destabilising, slowly but surely.

Tadeoniu: Is that how we all ended up separated from our friends? I remember that I had fallen through a portal...

Akino: And I had gone through a portal made by Chaos.

Taichi: The portals must be destabilising then.

Akino: And that's bad.

Ken: (nods) Very bad.

Daisuke: We have to get you guys back then.

Tadeoniu: Agreed. We have to solve this-

Akino: I can't.

Tadeoniu: H-Huh? (looks at Akino)

Akino: (looks down) My dad is somewhere in the fictional world.... He's been kidnapped by whoever started this mess... I won't give up on my dad... He was there for me so many times in the past. (looks up, determined tone) I'm going to go save him. No matter how long I take, I will find him and rescue him.

Tadeoniu: (eyes widen, before they soften) I'll help you then. I owe Aruke-san a debt for helping me 2 Christmases ago.

Akino: Thanks.... But.... (turns to Tadeoniu with a confused face) He helped you once? Does that mean that you've met him before.

Tadeoniu: (sweatdrops) Yeah. It's a long story which will require an hour of explaining. Also, I don't have the want to explain it. 

Akino: That bad? 

Tadeoniu: (nods) I rather not talk about it... It brings back bad memories.... 

Akino: (understands) Don't worry, I get it. 

Tadeoniu: Thanks for this. I'll tell you when I feel comfortable enough, if it's okay... 

Akino: Huh? Why? 

Tadeoniu: W-Well... (looks away) I-I don't know you that well... N-Not even your name.... 

Akino takes a long while to load that, and when he does, his face immediately becomes a tomato.

Akino: I-I'm so sorry! I-I was too focused on Dad to even use proper manners! 

Tadeoniu: I-It's fine... 

Akino: (goes to the corner, begins poking the wall) I-I'm Kin Akino then... 

Tadeoniu: T-Tadeoniu Ranero then... N-Nice to meet you, Akino... 

Akino: L-Likewise, Tadeoniu-san.... (blushes) I-I'm so sorry though.... 

Tadeoniu: (blushes back) I-It's fine... I-I should be saying sorry too... 

Akino: I-It's okay... I-I was the wrong one here... 

Tadeoniu: I-I insist, though... 

Taichi: (blinks, thinks: W-Wow... They resemble Leader.... In a way.)

Daisuke: (mentally sweat drops, thinks: This is hilarious.) 

Ken: (mental facepalm, thinks: Amazing.)

Akino: A-Anyway... W-What should we do now?.... 

Taichi: About your situation? 

Akino: (nods) 

Daisuke: The best we can do so far is to open a portal to another world so you two can start looking. 

Ken: Any possible places? 

Tadeoniu: Not really... 

Akino: Maybe the Da-

He is suddenly cut off by a large wind which smashed the glass of the computer lab, sending them all back flying to the wall. 

Akino: (gets stabbed by some of the glass shards, winces in pain)

Tadeoniu: A-Argh.... (some shards are on his chest, and a bit deep)

Taichi: W-What's going on? (dazed) 

Ken: (spots someone, points) There! 

The group turns to see a masked Youkai floating in front of the window. 

Daisuke: Who are you?! 

?????: (cold tone) Fundo (忿怒). I'm here to eliminate all of you. 

Akino: Fundo?... 

Tadeoniu: W-We have to fight... (tries to get up)

Taichi: (gently pushes him down) No, let us handle this. 

Tadeoniu: E-Eh? 

Daisuke: (gets up) Y-Yeah... We can fight... 

Taichi: You're injured pretty badly, Tadeoniu-san. Just stay down. 

Tadeoniu: B-but...

Ken: (soft tone) No buts. We can do this. 

Tadeoniu: ..... (sighs) Fine. Just be careful.

Taichi: (grins) When were we ever careful? 

Daisuke: (laughs a bit) Let's do this Taichi-senpai, Ken! 

Taichi, Ken: OH! 

Taichi summons a crook and flail that looks like Ra's, while Daisuke takes out twin guns and aims them at Fundo.

Daisuke: You're going down!

Ken: (takes out 2 medals) Agreed!

Fundo: Hmph, foolish of you to assume that I'm weak. 

Taichi: We're not. We're ready to end you, Fundo.

Fundo: Let's see then! (lunges for them)

Daisuke: (shoots at Fundo)

Fundo: (dodges) 

Taichi: (swings his weapons at Fundo, a light attack hits them)

Fundo: (snarls)

Tadeoniu: (eyes widen) T-That's...! 

Akino: A sun attack... Meaning that Taichi must be a demigod.... A demigod son of Ra..... 

Ken: You got that right. (readies himself) I'm gonna summon some help now!

Taichi: Great! 

Daisuke: Be quick about it! (shoots more bullets at Fundo)

Fundo: (summons a wind attack, sends the bullets back to Daisuke)

Daisuke: (does a flip and dodges)

Fundo: Tch! 

Meanwhile, Ken had taken out the original Youkai Watch, strapping it to his wrist before he takes out 2 medals, beginning the summoning process. 

僕の友達、でぎかい、セーラーニャン, セバスチャン! (Boku no tomodachi, degikai, Sērānyan, Sebastian!)

妖怪メダルセットオン! (Youkai medaru, setto on!)

Ken points his watch forward, before 2 ribbons emerges from the watch, revealing the 2 mentioned Youkai.

Seranyan: I'm here Daisuke!

Sebastian: Taichi-sama, what do you need my help with this time? 

Taichi: (dodges Fundo's attacks) You have eyes people! Use them! 

Fundo: (growls, lunges for Seranyan) 

Daisuke: Not so fast! (his hand bends the sunlight to hit Fundo's eyes)

Fundo: AGH! MY EYES! (stumbles back)

Daisuke: Seranyan! Charge up to heal those people! (points to Tadeoniu and Akino)

Taichi: Same for you, Sebastian! (shoots more sun attacks at Fundo) 

Fundo: (snarls in pain) 

Sebastian: As you wish, Taichi-sama! (starts charging up) 

Seranyan: Noted! (follows Sebastian's example)

Daisuke: (aims more bullets at Fundo) You're going down, Fundo! 

Ken: Daisuke's right! (takes out a sword and lunges for Fundo)

Fundo: (growls) I won't lose to you fools! Master has trusted me to end the chosen ones, and I shall go through with it! No matter who's in the way! (begins charging up as well)

Daisuke: Not happening! (takes out a dagger, lunges for Fundo)

Suddenly, dark lightning shoots down and hits Daisuke, sending him back to the wall. He looks badly injured now. 

Daisuke: (winces) I-It hurts... 

Taichi, Ken: Daisuke! 

Seranyan: (finishes charging up with Sebastian) Alright, let's do this Sebastian! 

Sebastian: Of course! 完璧なおもてなし! (Kanpekina omotenashi = Bon Appétit)

Seranyan: ゴーゴー☆ラブニャン! (Gō Gō ☆ Rabunyan = Lovely Meow!)

The auras are about to leave the duo when Fundo releases their attack. 

Fundo: Typhoon Tornado! 

The tornado hits the group, sending all of the fighters to the edge of the window. 

Taichi: (his weapons fly away from him) NO! 

Daisuke: (drops his gun, he growls in anger)

Ken: (sword gets knocked off, he has to cling onto the windowsill, winces in pain)

Seranyan, Sebastian: (hit the wall, get knocked out in the process)

Fundo: (laughs)

Meanwhile, the auras manage to enter the two males, healing their injuries. 

Akino: (slowly gets up, stumbles) W-What?.... 

Ken: A-Akino-san, help!

Akino: (eyes widen, he goes alert) Ken-kun! (rushes over to the side)

Fundo: Your mistake! (grins darkly, calls out another tornado that hits Akino)

Akino: G-GAH! (tries to hold onto something, but the wind's too fast)

Fundo: (smirks, uses their winds to levitate the weapons before throwing them towards the tornado)

Daisuke: (eyes widen in horror) AKINO-SAN! 

The weapons slowly get closer to Akino.

Tadeoniu: (thinks: I-I have to save Akino.... But how?... Fundo uses wind attacks... One wrong move and I could get into the same situation....) (grips, thinks: Can't I do anything to help? I owe Aruke-san a debt... A-And I have to repay it... I-I can't let him die here...) What should I do?.... (thinks: Am I really that weak and useless?...)

Suddenly, he remembers the words that Aruke had told him that fateful Christmas. 

Aruke: (smiles) You know, Tadeoniu, you're an amazing person. You and Friendliness have been fighting off your other sides to help the Light Enchanters, even though the risk of being found out as a double agent was high. You care for your friends, and try to help all of them  secretly. If I'm to be honest, that's a feat not many people can accomplish. That's why... Never look down on yourself, because you are a kind person, Tadeoniu. (grins) I don't regret choosing you to hold the Living Helper.

Tadeoniu: (eyes widen) O-Of course... H-How could I forget what Aruke-san had told me?.... (grips his fist) Aruke-san... You helped me break free... That's why.... I'm going to prove your words right! (rushes to the window, and jumps out of it)

Fundo: H-Huh?! 

Tadeoniu: (grabs his Libra Stabiliser, a stylus) Magical Gates Open! (eyes glow copper brown before he draws a whip and uses it to send the weapons away, dispelling the tornado in the process) 

Akino: A-Ah! (starts falling to the ground)

Tadeoniu: Levitation Magic, Activate! (eyes glow sand yellow, he moves his stylus up)

Akino suddenly begins to float above the ground, a light yellow wind is supporting him. Tadeoniu then moves his hand down slowly. The wind follows Tadeoniu's orders, setting Akino down gently before dispersing. 

Tadeoniu: Writing Magic Activate! (eyes glow copper brown again, he writes a bunch of ice attacks, releases them) 

The attacks become icicles that hit Fundo, sending him back. His magic is weakened with every attack, allowing the wind to settle down. Ken then climbs up and helps the others into the computer lab. 

Ken: Is everyone okay?! 

Taichi: Y-Yeah... 

Daisuke: Agh... (heals himself before proceeding to the rest) 

Back with the Tadeoniu VS Fundo battle, Tadeoniu is not slowing down at all. He's drawing at a rapid pace, determination written on his face clearly. Fundo gets hit by each of them, and they're gaining more injuries. 

Tadeoniu: I won't let you hurt them anymore! (then draws a huge icicle) Take this! HIYA! 

The attacks soars towards Fundo, hitting them head on and sending them flying. 

Tadeoniu: (cheers) YES! I did it! (drops down to the ground with a smile)

Akino: You did great, Tadeoniu-san! (hugs him) Thanks for saving me! 

Tadeoniu: It's fine. (smiles) Your dad saved me, so it was time for me to repay him. 

Akino: Aw, Dad wouldn't mind. If anything, HE would be saying that HE owed YOU a debt for saving me. (laughs)

Tadeoniu: (giggles) I suppose you're right. Nade's always rambling about how modest he is. 

Akino: Yeah, he is. 

The two laugh as the other 5 join them. 

Taichi: (grins) Well, you guys did great. 

Akino: (modest) Nye, it was all Tadeoniu-san. 

Tadeoniu: O-Of course not! A-Akino-kun, you helped too! 

Akino: E-Eh? (blushes) N-No way! 

Tadeoniu: Y-Yes way!

Taichi: (facepalms) Daisuke... 

Akino and Tadeoniu sweat drop. 

Akino: Well, I guess that it's time for us to head to the next world. 

Tadeoniu: Ah. 

Taichi: Well then. (summons his weapons, opens a portal) I guess this is it for now... 

Daisuke: Good luck on your quest guys! 

Ken: Stay safe too! 

Akino: You got it!

Sebastian: It was nice meeting you.

The two then step through the portal. 

The scene then cuts to Fundo, who is still flying through the sky when a dark portal opens up and swallows them, leaving no trace of their being there.
