In a dark room, Aruke is struggling against his ropes as he tries to untie himself, but it doesn't budge.

Karan: (smirks evilly) Why so feisty, Headmaster? You're usually the calm and collected kind.

Aruke: (scowls) Let me go, Karan!

Karan: Not until our plan is complete. (smirks) Get ready to see your champion fall into despair.

Aruke: W-What?

Karan: You'll see, you'll see~ MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Aruke: (grows worried, his eyes narrow) What champion? I don't have one.

Karan: Eh~ But don't Fate Changers usually have them? You know who I'm talking about, Headmaster. THAT boy.

Aruke: (goes pale) W-What? H-How did you...

?????: Is he here? (enters the room by floating in)

Karan: Oh yes, he is. Capturing him was a piece of cake.

Aruke: (eyes widen) Y-You're...

?????: (grins) Well, well, looks like you remember me. Surprising, to be honest. But oh well. (shrugs nonchalantly) You're quite hard to track down, Aruke-kun. Karan-chan had to search for so long.

Aruke: (growls) You won't succeed in your plan! I won't let you!

?????: Well~ It depends if your beloved champion doesn't fall into despair~ But who knows~ He might~

Aruke: He won't!

?????: He will, actually~ And no one will realise it until it's too late~ AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The screen fades to black.

The opening plays.

(The music starts playing as Natsume Amano turns into Shuka's awakened form, then Akino Kin opens up the game system as Ryaku Mizuya opens up his Magical Gates and Aruke Kin (Young) activates the Nature power.)

Episode 2: Portal Problems

Tenade: (is leaning on a tree in the park, waves at Ryaku) Hey there. 

Ryaku: (sits down on a beach) Yo.

Bao En: Why so late, Ryaku?

Ryaku: I had to call Cellyne and Friendliness to inform them of the situation.

Tadeoniu: (looks concerned) How did they respond to that?

Ryaku: Friendliness wanted to rush back at once to help. So did Cellyne, but I told Cellyne to keep following the burning books case, and Friendliness is to keep an eye out for anyone suspicious. 

Lizzy: (sighs) Cellyne probably gave you an earful. 

Ryaku: (groans) You think? Cel wanted in on the action. 

Manuel: I can talk to her if you want. 

Ryaku: That sounds great! Thanks Manuel. 

Manuel: No problem. 

Tireni: (is leaning on a tree, chuckles) You kids are really close, huh? 

Kai: Tireni-san, you're also part of us. 

Kuriwa: You and Tadeoniu-san are our friends too. After all, age doesn't hinder friendship.

Tadeoniu: Thanks. (smiles)

Kuriwa: No problem.

Bloody: (is in her human form, smiles) It's nice to see everyone get along!

Chilly: (nods with a grin) I agree. 

Mountaineering: Yep! 

Reaper: I suppose so. (is staying away from the group, sits on Ceels' head)

Lucy: Eh? What's up with you and Ceels staying away from us?

Ceels: (looks away) I... I just feel uncomfortable... 

Reaper: So do I...

Tireni: Is this about what happened a year ago? 

Reaper: (nods silently)

Lizzy: Hey, we've forgiven you already. 

Mountaineering: (nods) Your motives were justified at some point. You were trying to move on from Skeletal's death. 

Bloody: Why do you think we pleaded your case so you could join our group? 

Reaper: (looks away) And I told you not to do that. I should have been allowed to rot in the Centuries. (sighs a bit)

Chilly: (looks worried) Reaper... 

Ryaku: (stern tone) Hey, come on, Reaper, you don't have to be so down. We're all friends here. You don't have to isolate yourself. 

Reaper: (sighs again) Sorry, Ryaku. I just... I don't have much of an aim now. 

Ceels: (softly nods) The nightmares don't help at all too. 

Bloody: We told you to come to us if you had any problems. 

Lucy: (hugs Ceels) We're all here for you guys, so come to us if you need help, okay? 

Ceels: A-All right... (nods slowly)

Kai: (smiles) That's better. 

Tenade: (watches, she sees a silhouette of a short black-haired girl behind Ceels) H-Huh? 

Tadeoniu: (notices) Something wrong, Nade-chan? 

Tenade: A-Ah, not really... 

Tadeoniu: (looks worried) Okay then....

Lizzy: But anyway, why did you gather us here, Ryaku? 

Kai: Yeah, all of us got texts from you asking us to come here. 

Ryaku: (blinks) Eh? What are you talking about? I thought it was Tenade-nee. 

Tenade: I am perplexed Ryaku. I did not send anything out to you today. 

Lucy: Wait, but if none of us sent it, then who did? 

Suddenly, the ground begins shaking. The civilians begin screaming as they run away, trying to find shelter. The LEs are about to do the same when a HUGE portal opens up under them and sucks them in. 

All: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

After they all fall through, the portal closes and the earthquake stops. 

The scene then switches to Young Aruke and Konju. The two are standing at the hill where Aruke had resolved to continue on as a Fate Changer.

Konju: You sure Lord Chaos asked us to come here?

Young Aruke: (nods, is swaying a bit) He said that if I wanted answers to the headaches, I had to come here.... 

Konju: Sounds a bit enigmatic. Wonder how he's going to give us the answer to the question-

Chaos: (telepathic, is speaking in their minds) Hello, Aruke, Konju. 

Young Aruke: Oh, Chaos-san! 

Konju: It's been a while!

Chaos: Yes, it has. How is the headache, Aruke?

Young Aruke: I-It's gotten better, I suppose...

Konju: Anyway, why did you call us here, Lord Chaos? 

Chaos: To inform you regarding that headache Aruke has right now. 

Y Aruke: Can you please explain this, Chaos-san? (is leaning on Konju) I-I can't handle it anymore. 

Chaos: But of course. Your guesses were correct; the future is causing that headache. 

Konju: Huh? What's going on in the future? 

Chaos: A horrible plan is being put into motion. One that could destroy the universe- no, the multiverse. 

Y Aruke, Konju: WHAT?! 

Y Aruke: What kind of plan would cause such destruction?...

Chaos: A plot to destroy protagonists. 

Konju: Why? 

Chaos: That, I do not know. 

Y Aruke: So how do we fix this mess? 

Chaos: You must travel to the future to help my chosen ones in stopping this plot. 

Konju: Will that make Ruke's headaches go away? 

Chaos: Not really. In order to do that, you must defeat the mastermind and rescue his future self.

Y Aruke: Eh? From who? 

Chaos: The mastermind. He took you as part of the plan.

Konju: I see. What about my future self, then? 

Chaos: He is currently occupied in an alternate dimension, and he cannot help out in this matter. 

Y Aruke: All right then. We accept this task. 

Chaos: Very well. 

A green portal opens up in front of them.

Konju: Let's go, Ruke. 

Y Aruke: Ah. 

The two step through the portal, and it closes once they step through. 

The scene then switches to Keisuke, who is skimming the news on his phone as he sits inside a café, drinking ocha. A notebook is open in front of him, filled with scribbles and notes of the things he knew so far. He frowns a bit. 

Keisuke: (mumbles as he reads the information) There HAS to be a pattern to all this. Let's see.... London, Medan, Jakarta, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Sakura New Town, Singapore, Canberra, Kuala Lumpur, Cape Town, Yukon,  Washington D.C., Bangkok.... Wait, hold on... (quickly screenshots the list and looks at it again) All the cities attacked so far are capitals except for Sakura New Town, Medan and Yukon.... I wonder why.... (writes it down on his notebook with a red pen, he taps the tip against his chin) This is quite the case.... Who would do something like this? 

Natsume: Oh, Keisuke! (walks in with the rest) 

Keisuke: (looks up, he covers up the notebook) Neechan! (smiles) Did you find something? 

Touma: Not much so far. The bookstore owners and librarians have no clue to who it is. The CCTVs can't be counted on, seeing that they were turned off. 

Keisuke: Turned off? 

Ayame: (nods) No one knows how it was turned off, which is why everyone is so confused. 

Keisuke: Ah.... But I guess that this was fun for you guys either way. (raises an eyebrow) 

Akinori: How did you know? 

Keisuke: (rolls his eyes) You guys probably had double dates. That's why you guys are here.

Touma: (blushes)

Akinori: (looks away) I-It's not that! 

Ayame: (covers her face) K-Keisuke-kun!

Natsume: Mou, Keisuke! Why must you be so mean at times? 

Keisuke: (shrugs) Whatever helps you sleep at night. (grins cheekily) But it's still cute to see. 

The 4 blush hard. Jorogumo, Rasen, Mister Movien and Ungaikyou all giggle. 

Akinori: A-At any rate, now that we're all together again, we should try to have a strategy meeting. 

Ayame: A-Agreed! 

Natsume, Touma: (bob their heads up and down)

Keisuke: (shrugs) Sure. Why don't we go out then? 

Ayame: That sounds nice!

Jorogumo: (smirks) You're just trying to avoid it. 

Ayame: N-No we aren't! 

Rasen: You so are!

Akinori: Shut up!

Mister Movien: (chuckles)

Ungaikyou: This is amusing. 

Ayame: (blushes)

Keisuke: (giggles)

With that, the 9 of them walk out, but just then, a blue portal opened up under them, causing them to fall into it. 

Akinori: AHHHHHHH! What's going on?!

Natsume: HOLD ON GUYS!!! 

Rasen: WE CAN'T!!!!!!!!

After they fall into the portal, it closes, and everyone continues on their normal business, as if  that didn't happen.

Finally, in Singapore, the honorary Borrowed Actors are still mulling over the case. 

Chenhua: 这事情真的太难了。(Zhè shì qíng zhēn de tài nán le. = This case is really too difficult) (is staring at the board)

Akino: You read my mind, Uncle Chenhua. (frowns)

Choiseung: (sighs) Wonder why this is happening.

Rau: It's probably something related to the multiverse. That's the worrying thing.

Akino: Ah...

Choiseung: (groans, ruffles his hair) This is getting nowhere!

Chenhua: Let's go refresh our grey cells first then. I highly doubt any of us can think with this much stress.

Rau: (brightens up) Uncle Chenhua's right! Let's go walk around the complex!

Choiseung: (cracks a smile) I suppose so.

Akino: Let's go.

The 4 get dressed before they leave the apartment, exiting the building to enter the park nearby.

In the park, though, their mirrors suddenly light up.

Choiseung: Huh? What's going on?

Chenhua: This is weird....

The mirrors glow blue to form a picture of a cosmos, and their minds conjure up a group chatroom. A message comes in.

Chaos: Hello there, Akino, Rau, Choiseung and Chenhua.

The 4 blink. Then Akino thinks up his answer.

Akino: Oooooookaaaaaayyyy.... Who are you?

The message goes through before Chaos replies.

Chaos: I am Chaos. I chose your father and Konju Rudi to be the Fate Changer and Borrowed Actor respectively.

The other 3 understand the concept now, so they follow suit as they all sit down on benches, looking at the scenery.

Rau: Oh, nice to meet you Chaos!

Chaos: Likewise, Rau. However, I have no time for what you humans call chit-chat. Aruke has been kidnapped.

Akino: WHAT?!

Chenhua: By who?

Chaos: That I do not know. However, I have every intention to find out. I will need your help for that, though.

Choiseung: Of course we will help!

Rau: We want to save Uncle Aruke too!

Chaos: Good. I will need you to join my other champions in looking for him all across the multiverse.

Akino: You have more champions?

Chaos: Yes. While you are at it, I want you to find Aruke's champion. He may be the key to winning this fight against our mysterious enemy.

Chenhua: Really?

Chaos: Yes. Aruke's champion is, far as I know, an actor.

Akino: I see. Thank you, Lord Chaos.

Chaos: It is nothing.

A portal opens up in front of them as the chatroom fades away in their heads.

Choiseung: Well, I guess we have a new mission now.

Rau: Ah.

Akino: I hope we can fight whoever this new enemy is.

Chenhua: And find Aruke's champion.

Rau: (serious face) Let's go find Uncle Aruke.

Akino, Choiseung, Chenhua: OH!

The three step through the portal, letting it close behind them.

Jorogumo: Oh, Keisuke! You're safe.

Ryaku:  I don't know....

Choiseung: You're tiny.

Y Aruke: Where on Earth am I?...
