Lucy: Well, what?

Rasen: We just want to know how you can see me, since I'm a Youkai.

Wade: Aha.... That's...

Lucy: It's not one of those questions humanity doesn't know the answer to.

Rasen: Please?

Darrell: (shakes head vigorously) Sorry! We can't tell you!

Lily: Yeah, it's tots confidential!

Lucy: Huh... (crosses arms)

Lucy and Rasen, quite the unexpected duo, had fallen into the Copernicus Legacy world, meeting Wade, Darrell, Lily, Becca, Roald and Sara soon after their arrival at Monte Carlo.  Currently, they are trying -and failing- to get the group to open up to how they can see Rasen.

It's been an epic failure, all right.

Becca: Sorry, you two, but we can't. (apologetic) 

Rasen: (groans, rubs his head) This is truly beautiful. BEAUTIFUL, I say.

Lucy: I feel ya. (looks at the adults, notices something, eyes narrow) 

It's Roald's bag. He has a photo hanging from a pocket.

Lucy: Hey, what's that? (points to the photo) (curious)

Roald: (sees it, eyes widen) Gah! How did it get out?! (rushes to get it) 

As if on cue, the wind blows it near Rasen, who quickly takes it and holds it. He looks at it. 

Rasen: (jaws drop) T-This is... 

It's a photo of a bunch of people, and at the centre.... 

Amano Keita is grinning as he leans slightly on Misora Inaho and Amano Keizou, both who look happy and comfy.

The screen fades to black after focusing on Lucy and Rasen, who seem shocked, shortly followed by the opening. 

*Note: It ends at 1:30.

(The music starts playing as Natsume Amano turns into Shuka's awakened form, then Akino Kin opens up the game system as Ryaku Mizuya opens up his Magical Gates and Young Aruke Kin activates the Nature power.)

(Keisuke Amano is shown leaning against a wall, while a silhouette who's hugging a monochrome bear grins maliciously as Keisuke curls up, crying a bit.)

(Rau Maui looked determined as he readies his mirror with Bao En Sae and Konju Rudi by his side, also doing the same thing.)

(Tenade Arihoshi is shrouded in darkness with a silhouette behind her until a hand reaches out.)

(Tenade takes it, and it's revealed to Bloody, Chilly, and Mountaineering, who all smile at her. She smiles back.)

(Tadeoniu Ranero and Tireni Remira are in battle stances, both have determined faces on.)

(Shuka, Gentou, and Hakushu fight together.)

(A portal opens up and shows a lot of people grinning at the camera.)

(They all throw their fists into the air.)

(Chaos is watching over them with a smile.)

(Everyone is smiling for a camera, and it goes CLICK! Then the title of the story is stamped on the picture.)

Episode 9: Relic Problems

Rasen: Y-You.... You know THE Amano Keita?... (stares at the group)

Lucy: W-Wait, really?! (eyes widen) As in the main protagonist of Youkai Watch Amano Keita?! 

Wade: (sighs) The very same. 

Lily: And here we were going to keep it a secret. (groans) 

Sara: Why did you have that photo out anyway? (to Roald) 

Roald: I just wanted to keep it close.... 

Becca: That makes sense... 

Rasen: (looks at the photo) I recognise Enma-daiou, that Mao Hikage and Misora Inaho there. There are a few more I recognise honestly.... 

Lucy: You kidding me? (looks at it as well) OH! That's Naegi Makoto, Miguel Rivera, and the Appli Drivers! (points them out as she states each name) 

Wade: (nods) They're our friends as well. 

Rasen: Speaking of that, did we ever do introductions?

The group blinks for a while, before they FINALLY realise their mistake.

Darrell: Whoops.... 

Wade: I guess we should do them now. 

Lucy: Sounds good. 

Rasen: Alright, hi! I'm Rasen! 

Lucy: 'M Lucianna Terra, but you can call me Lucy. 

Wade: I'm Wade Kaplan! 

Lily: Lily Kaplan, his cousin! 

Darrell: Yo! I'm Darrell Surawaluk Evans Kaplan! Wade's stepbrother!

Becca: I'm Rebecca Moore, commonly known as Becca. 

Roald: I'm Wade's dad, Roald Kaplan. It's nice to meet you all. 

Sara: And I'm Darrell's mother, Sara Kaplan neé Evans. 

Lucy: It's nice to meet you all! How is the search for the Relics? (smiles) 

Wade: Oh, so you know of it? 

Lucy: Of course I do! I love the Copernicus Legacy series! 

Lily: About that.... It ended a few months ago. 

Sara: To be honest, we're just here to revisit our memories here. 

Darrell: (grins) For example, Mr. "Follow me!" 

Wade: (eyes widen) Darrell! I thought we agreed to never bring that up again! 

Darrell: (shrugs) But it was funny. 

Wade: (blushes) 

Rasen: (laughs) Hilarious!

Lucy: (giggles) Agreed. 

Lily, Becca: (secretly show thumbs up to Wade and Darrell) 

Wade, Darrell: (grin at each other) 

Sara: (mentally sighs in relief) 

Roald: (laughs) Anyway, how did you end up here? 

Lucy: Erm... I was talking with my friends in a park when there was this earthquake... Then a portal opened up and swallowed all of us. 

Rasen: Same here, except we weren't in a park; we were just exiting a cafe after meeting Keisuke. 

Lucy: (blinks) Keisuke?.... (eyes widen) Wait, hold up. I think I remember you now. 

Rasen: H-Huh? 

Lucy: You're Oniou Rasen, aren't you? 

Rasen: (looks taken aback, his eyes show fear in them) A-Ah... (shakes a bit) 

Wade: (notices) You okay?

Rasen: A-Ah... 

Wade: You look terrified...

 Lily: (nods) Yeah, you totally do. 

Rasen: I-It's nothing... 

Sara: You sure? 

Rasen: (nods) 

Lucy: I'm sorry for bringing it up... I didn't mean it...

Rasen: I-It's okay... I don't mind... 

Lucy: Really? 

Rasen: (grins) Of course! I don't lie to my friends! 

Lucy: (is taken aback) Friends? You consider us friends when we've just met? 

Rasen: (blinks) Well, there has to be a reason behind us ending up here together... That's why I'm considering you as my friend. 

Lucy: (eyes widen) .... (chuckles) You're quite the unique person, Rasen. I like your optimism. 

Rasen: Oh really? (sheepishly rubs his head) I don't think so. I'm just average at some point. 

Upon hearing "average", the other group look at one another. 

Darrell: (thinks: Do they know?... ... Nah, I don't think they do. They look like they believe in canon personalities.) 

Wade: (thinks: Oniou no Rasen, eh? Wonder what the others would have to say about him.) 

Lily: (suddenly clears throat after seeing the two males' faces) A-Anyway, if you want, we can help you get home. 

Lucy, Rasen: Wait, really?! (eyes sparkle) 

Becca: Of course!

Sara: It's only natural to do so. 

Roald: (nods in agreement) 

Rasen: Thank you so much! (bows) 

Darrell: You're welcome-

???????: Hmph, as if I'm going to let you do that. 

The group does a double take. 

Lucy: Who's there?! (gets into a battle stance) 

Rasen: (goes to stand beside Lucy, gets into a battle stance as well) 

A person drops down in front of them. A dark blue hood covers their face, with black jeans and a grey shirt to boot. The only thing visible about their face is their blue eyes. 

???????: Hello, you ignorant idiots. 

Roald: (eyes narrow) Who are you?

???????: Koritsu (孤立) to you fools.

Rasen: (eyes narrow) Koritsu? 

Wade: Doesn't that mean Isolation? 

Koritsu: Doesn't matter, because I will defeat all of you in Master's name. (gets into a battle stance) 

Darrell: None of us are going down that quickly though! 

Roald: We won't lose! 

Sara: (nods)

Koritsu: Hmph, what foolish beliefs. However, do not fret, for I shall show you the beauty of the darkness! (lunges for them)

Wade: (summons fire attacks, blocks Koritsu with them) Don't underestimate us.

Lily: (summons a gun) Be careful!

Wade: Of course!

Lucy: H-Huh? 

Roald: (grins) Some things are not as they seem. (eyes glow, he gets a staff) 

Rasen: Woah! Cool!

Becca: (takes out a dagger) Time to stop you in your tracks.

Lucy: Well then! (rips her violin off her neck) Magical Gates Open! (eyes glow purple)

Darrell: We can do this guys! (calls out a red sword)

Rasen: Agreed! (goes Shadowside)

Sara: (takes out a modern-looking crossbow) Let's end this!

All: OH! (charge towards Koritsu)

Koritsu: Hmph. (shoots spirit-like attacks at them)

Rasen: (destroys them with his sword)

Lucy: Excuse me! (uses Rasen as a stepping stone to leap into the air, starts playing Toki wo Matou)

The notes attack Koritsu, but they manage to dodge all of them.

Lucy: Wow...

Wade: (attacks him with his attacks)

Darrell: (lunges with his sword at the same time)

The attacks both land on Koritsu, since they were caught off guard by Lucy.

Wade: Thanks for providing a distraction!

Lucy: No problem!

Darrell: Come on, Lily! 

Lily: OH! (shoots at Koritsu) 

Koritsu: (dodges) Tch! 

Becca: (appears behind Koritsu and stabs their left shoulder) 

Koritsu: (screeches in pain, stumbles back) 

Becca: (slides away to dodge Koritsu, grabs her dagger) 

Koritsu: (snarls) 

Roald, Sara: (attack him together)

Koritsu: (gets hit, growls in pain)

Lucy: (plays Susume Shounen Hyoudou) 

Koritsu: (dodges) 

Rasen: (suddenly appears behind Koritsu and attacks him) BLOOD RAIN! 

Lucy: (changes to Shingeki no Kyojin's first theme song, hits Koritsu head on) 

Koritsu: GAH! (stumbles back again) 

Lily: ALL TOGETHER NOW! 

All: OHH!!!! 

Wade: (summons more fire attacks) 

Darrell: (swings his sword, every swing is a magical attack) 

Lily: (uses up all her bullets) 

Becca: (uses wind to strengthen Wade's attacks) 

Roald: (calls out fire magic) 

Sara: (shoots arrows)

Lucy: (switches to lightning magic, shoots) 

Rasen: (uses his sword to send a burst of energy to the centre) 

All: TASTE OUR COMBINED CONVERGENCE!!!!!!!

Koritsu: GAH!!!!!!!!! 

The attack combines to form a HUGE attack that sent them flying to a wall. 

Lucy: YES! WE DID IT!!!!

Wade: That... Was... AWESOME!!! (high fives Darrell) 

Darrell: Whoohoo! 

Roald: (fist-bumps Sara) 

Lily: (hugs Becca) 

Rasen: (gives Lucy a thumbs-up) 

Lucy: (grins back) 

The group then hears a groan from the wall, causing the group to turn to it as Koritsu stumbles away from the wall. 

Koritsu: (snarls) T-This is impossible... H-How were you able to beat me?... 

Wade: It's because we have something that you don't; determination. 

Lucy: (nods) As the old saying goes, "When there is a will, there is a way." 

Koritsu: T-Tch ... I-I will be back... I WILL have my revenge on you all... (disappears) 

Rasen: (groans) They got away!

Lucy: Let them. What's important is that we beat them for now.

Wade: (nods) As they say, "Lose the battle to win the war".

Rasen: (goes back to Lightside, eyes narrow) So it IS war...

Lucy: (curious) But how do you know that?

Wade: Call it a gut feeling....

Lucy: Alright, I'll trust you on that.

Rasen: So will I.

Wade: Thanks!

Lucy, Rasen: It's nothing.

Roald: Anyway, we should get you home now, shouldn't we?

Rasen: Please do.

Roald: Alrighty! (uses his flail to create a pink portal) There, that should do it.

Rasen: (bows again) It was nice meeting all of you.

Lucy: Same here, though can I ask for autographs? (smiles sheepishly) I'm a huge fan of the series.

Sara: Sure!

Lucy: Thanks! (takes out her detective notebook and a pen, opens it to an empty front page, gives it to Wade)

One by one, the group signs Lucy's book. Once they are done, the notebook is handed back to Lucy, who keeps it on her belt.

Rasen: (smiles) Let's go.

Lucy: (grins) Ah.

With that, the two step through the portal. Once it closes, the group look at one another.

Wade: I don't like this....

Lily: None of us do, Wade.

Becca: (sighs)

Darrell: Let's just hope that HE was right.

The rest nod in agreement as they look at the sky.

Konju: This place is amazing!

Kuriwa: Look out!

??????1: Oh yeah, you know I can see both.

??????2: Time to show them who's boss!

Konju, Kuriwa: Next time, on Universal Collision!

And welcome KORITSU, the next main villain for the First Jump Arc! They seem quite mysterious, right?~ What do you think of them?

Anyway, I'm really trying to finish everything up as soon as I can so I can rest easy. It's going to be a long trip, but I'm going to make it hopefully.
