THE TWO, Glyde and Hershey, have already been in a couple of dates this past few weeks and months. However, not many people knew about their relationship. That doesn't mean that Glyde's colleagues didn't notice anything. In fact, they are quite curious about what made Glyde act different. 

Glyde was at an important meeting with his team when his phone suddenly vibrated on the table. Normally, Glyde would just ignore it and would not be bothered by it. He would still be able to focus on the meeting. But when Glyde saw the name of the person who messaged him, he suddenly became restless. He was still able to focus at the meeting, but deep inside he hoped that their meeting would already come to an end. Glyde's team noticed this.

When the meeting ended Bienne worriedly asked, "What's wrong? Did something bad happened?"

Glyde furrowed his brow as he confusedly returned a question, "What do you mean?"

"Who messaged you earlier?" Bienne tilted her head.

Glyde shrugged and answered truthfully, "It was just Hershey." 

He didn't noticed when Bienne and his other colleagues looked at him dumbfoundedly, "Who?" Apparently, Glyde was busy replying back to Hershey thus he wasn't able to answer to his colleagues quickly.

Someone even interjected, "Is that your girlfriend?"

He chuckled and shook his head, "No."

"But isn't she's the girl that you're always been with lately?" Glyde nodded at his colleagues question.

"You know, it's really weird to see you act this way. If she's not your girlfriend. then who is she for you?" Bienne asked. 

Glyde puts back his phone on his pocket and tidy up all of his things. He stood up and simply replied to them, "She's just someone special"

Glyde can't give them any other answer but just that. He was already aware that Hershey could not just be considered as his friend or acquaintance. He have indeed been doing something more than what he would do for a friend when it comes to her. So, considering Hershey's whole identity, this was the most honest answer he could think of.  

He started walking out the meeting room to go back to his cubicle. Some followed him in order to get more gossip. "Wait... I just realized, the Hershey that you were talking about, it couldn't be the daughter of our CEO right?" 

Glyde nodded as if it was not a big deal. However, he heard a lot of gasps. He stopped and looked at their shocked expression. Well, who wouldn't be surprised? The person he had been seeing with was someone with great status. But after he have spent some time on hanging out with her, he lately forgot her origin as he was only able to just enjoy her company. 

It took a couple of minutes before this information sink into his colleagues. But Bienne noticed something. She and Glyde may not be that close like his relationship with Jaycee and Ryan, but Bienne have been observing him for quite a while. Although Glyde have already been acting differently and it was probably because of that girl, she was still worried. Glyde were able to  notice Bienne's worried eyes. 

"Aren't you doing things too much? Don't you think some of it are just unnecessary?" she asked. 

Others may not be able to understand what she meant, but Glyde did. After all, he was the one who experience everything at first hand. Bienne was just someone who were able to watch at the sideline.

Spending time with Hershey, Glyde's patience have been tested. But he couldn't bring himself to even get mad at her in the slightest. Things that he wouldn't normally do, he would do it for her. His work have been always his priority, but Glyde was also aware that Hershey was slowly taking that spot. He doesn't know what's going on with him, but if Hershey asked him to kneel for her, Glyde knew to himself that he would do it just to see that girl smile. He would try to do everything just to satisfy her. 

The past few weeks, Glyde have already noticed that Hershey's true nature was slowly opening up to her. Glyde doesn't like clingy girls, but when it comes to Hershey he would tolerate it and even entertain it. Glyde also have a stubborn personality, but when she came, Hershey became his rule. Whatever she says, he'll follow. It could be said that it was not him who took advantage of her, it was actually her who took advantage of him. 

That is why, Bienne was worried. 

Glyde was doing too much for Hershey, that it seems too unfair for his side. It was because Bienne was also aware that even if it was said that Glyde and Hershey have been hanging out a lot lately, it was still not that frequent. It means that Hershey comes and go at Glyde's life.

Glyde was actually more aware of this. Both of them don't actually converse with each other daily, nor do they see each other everyday. They would just meet and talk from time to time. These meetings and conversation would also depend on her. That is because even if Glyde tried to contact her, if Hershey wouldn't want to, she wouldn't. So, Glyde just let her be the one to contact him first. 

But for Glyde, there was nothing wrong with that set-up. He wasn't complaining. It actually became their norm, when Hershey just wouldn't suddenly talk to him for a while. Probably because he, himself, was also too occupied with work that he wasn't able to pay attention to this strange relationship of theirs. 

So when Bienne asked that question, he simply answered : "It's probably necessary"

He have that kind of mindset for the sole reason that he thought that he needs to act that way since she's special. In addition, a part of him  actually want to convince himself that it is also a way for him to be able to deepen their relationship considering who she was as a daughter of the CEO. 

But Glyde didn't explain that to them any further. He would just keep all of his other thoughts to himself. Because, he would might just end up telling a lie if he still tried to find and think of a reason for all of his actions. He, himself, was unsure. But he wants to believe that Hershey just simply deserves it.
