Chapter 2
One week had gone by. As each day went by I felt myself being dragged into to bleak and dispiriting walls of the orphanage. There were four others in my room not including me and the mysterious boy. Two of the girls looked about seven and their names were Anna and Mary-Beth, the other girl was my age and her name was Gabrielle, we had talked quite a lot and I felt as though she was my only friend.
Today was Sunday as far as I knew and the rain pattered down the window in our room, revealing the blackened sky and outline of the London buildings. I had just come up from breakfast and entered our room when I saw the boy again, I hadn't seen him in days. He was standing by the window again looking out, it was as though he was trying to find something or someone. I followed my gut and walked over to him. Silence filled the air but it was not uncomfortable.
"You see that school over there... In the distance."
He points into the distance. I can see a large brick building silhouetted against the sky.
" I loved it there. I never liked school until I left and I only just realised that. I miss the sound of the ringing bell and hearing my friends laughter. I guess I just took everything for granted."
I smile at him and he smiles back, this time I know its real because I see his eyes light up.
"What's your story?" I ask him with no trace of nervousness in my body. He turns around and sits on his bed figuring I would do the same to.
THEY ALL DIED HAHHAHAHAHAHA SHITTY CLIT
