Poetry is different for everyone
But all agree on one thing

allows us to get words out on a page

Poetry, in some cases,
keeps us sane
gets words out of our head
rather than stuck inside

So much more than words
on paper or a screen
it's a piece of ourselves
inside the poem
intertwined with the words
laced in the hidden meaning
