A young poet
just beginning
you came along

don't know how you found me
or my poetry
but I'm grateful you did
taught me tricks
that I follow today

my poetry, without you,
wouldn't be as good as it is
today

without you, I wouldn't
be a poet

shy I was to post my poetry
yet you broke me out of my shell

as I wrote more and more
my confidence grew
even if it was just my thoughts

I joined your challenge
couple months after
my poetry count growing
my poems getting better

And it's all because of you
without you,
I wouldn't be the poet I am
today
so thank you, a million
times over
