The weight of a thousand
rested on my shoulders

it followed into my dreams,
crushing me in my sleep
but yet a subtle reminder

"lessen the load,
not meant to bare the weight
of everyone on your shoulders
but yet you feel like you have too
your emotions getting in the way as well"

A subtle reminder I took to heart
I rid myself of 25% but even then
