Moment

That one moment when you
Feel like it was all set,
Finally, it was about time you
Take the leap and move on,
Where it all fits in
with your heart.

And then,
The other second
It just all crumbles down,
Piling up in ashes and scraps
Eroding the little hope
That uprooted in the gullible heart.

That was when,
The reality kicks in,
That eventually all good things
Comes to an end, sooner or later.
Unexpectedly, and terribly.
