18-She is still Young!!

"When are you going to Marry?" Mohini Aggarwal asked her son with great hopes, ignoring his furrowed expressions.

Vinod let his wife ask. He was relieved that his rumored gay son was living with a woman. As long as his kid was happy and in love, the girl's family and reputation didn't matter.

Jatin seemed to be used to these Court Marshall Sessions. He questioned why they came, ignoring their stares.

"Why are you here?"

"How dare you? Aren't you afraid about her family, or your landing in problems at the hospital? because you are engaged to a student. A scandal might develop. We're willing to lend a hand." Laughed Mohini Aggarwal. Mrs. Mohini Aggarwal is well-known amongst all of talented Aggarwal family. She had made good use of her sharp tongue to treat and help many challenging patients and their families. She thinks it's a gift from God that she can rap forever and with great success."

The Aggarwals, who wanted to learn more about the girl's family, were sitting with their lone son in the middle. The Aggarwals recognized the girl's face but couldn't place her. To their dismay, Jatin had warned them flat-out to keep out of his business, leaving only Jhanvi as a possible savior.

In kitchen, while listening to their talks, Jhanvi started preparing the tea for herself and fritters for dinner. But when their talks got overboard she decided to confront them. She walked with tea and fritters for the visitors in the lobby. She walked the whole way with her head ducked. Her young mind was still working overtime, trying to come up with the right words to describe what had happened to Jatin's parents. She was prepared to do it no matter what but she dared not see any of them in the eyes.

She cautiously offered tea and snacks, but said nothing. The Aggarwals' gazes were warm and welcoming, "I can see a good upbringing by parents. You have my blessings, my child, and if you become pregnant, inform us. We'll always stand by you." Mohini Aggarwal was quite friendly and warm to her.

Jhanvi looked up gathering courage and said, "Aunt, I really don't have that kind of relationship with Professor Jatin."

"It's okay if you and Jatin lost control; we're both rather easygoing and can see that you have a sound character. Some blunders are inevitable. But in the future, please beware of your surroundings... The door was open and Auntie witnessed you two making out."

"No, no, you have it all wrong, auntie...Neither of us was ... Please, Professor Jatin, clarify things." Jhanvi yelled for assistance. But the man didn't move.

"Jhanvi... It's pointless to ignore the obvious... I can tell you are hobbling because Jit has been tormenting you. Since I am here, do you want me to twist his ears?... no? See you don't want him to suffer." Mohini Aggarwal's gaze implied she could be fooled.

Jhanvi stood there, her eyes darting uneasily between the older woman in front of her and the person on her left and right. Her lips were sealed in silence as her eyes pleaded for rescue.

Like a battered kid, Jhanvi pushed herself into the seat next to Jatin and pulled at the sleeve of his shirt for support. Jatin looked at her with a little raise of his brow.

"I warned you to focus on your work. Who instructed you to provide them with tea and snacks? Deal with them now on your own. Jatin spoke softly in her ear. Her face became even more heated as his breath came close to her ears.

Although Jhanvi wasn't sure if his acts were intentional or not, she needed his assistance. "Hurry up and explain to your parents," she begged in a quiet voice.

"You owe me a favor for the same and add Puhlease," Jatin muttered as he furrowed his brow.

Jatin continued to maintain his' I am your superior attitude' despite Jhanvi's enraged gaze. Jhanvi rolled her eyes in frustration before finally cracking a smile: "Please." He accepted it with pursed lips.

His father and mother were grinning as they observed the two individuals murmuring something in a low voice.

The two of them, though, were so low-pitched that Ms. Aggarwal's ears perked up but she couldn't make them out clearly enough. Jatin turned to face his mother and greeted her with a warm "Mom."

"Yes, Jit." Mrs. Aggarwal responded right away.

"She is still young." Jatin spoke slowly while maintaining his composure.

'What nonsense is he talking about?' Jhanvi gasped as she stared at him in disbelief and nearly got up from the couch.

Jatin curled his lips as he looked at her, "Did I say something wrong? Aren't you young??"

"I'm not saying that... I don't." Jhanvi shook her head and tried to explain but gave up.

Mohini glanced at the pair and promptly stated, "Firstly, you should know that we are not very old, no pressure on you, enjoy your freedom, enjoy your studies, and in the event that you become pregnant, don't worry—we'll take care of the baby."

Jhanvi forced a grin that was even more hideous than her tears. She believed that Professor Cunning just served to increase her misery and that she was not qualified to dispute between two and three, since her professor had likely received these qualities from her mother. However, she can't even conceive of resistance at this point, most likely because she's been pitted more often.

Mohini reaffirmed, "You should take care of her, Understand? See how frail she is? How can she take your abuse?

Jatin cast a glance at Jhanvi, taking in her entire appearance. The remark about her thinness was accurate. He remembered that her bones and ankle felt weak to the touch, as if they may break at any moment. Subconsciously His thoughts immediately wandered to her temperature. Is it a steady state? Why? Is she malnourished or what???

When Mohini saw Jhanvi's confused expression, she replied, "Oh, let me tell you that our son is a stubborn ass. You cannot indulge him too much, but still, stay with him and be patient.. You may be young, but you need to know how to keep him in check. See, I overcame him exactly like his dad, and you can do the same. Master the art of taming your man. He has had enough of the carefree single life.

Jhanvi agreed, desperately wanting to sob at her plight. But after listening to Mrs. Aggarwal, she became determined to rein in this sly and careless fox. Her expression darkened as her profanity increased. She swore at him furiously because no matter how many times she tried to explain herself, she just managed to further confuse him. All of this happened because of him. Although she was naive, she was not stupid.

Later, Vinod Aggarwal and Jatin had a lengthy discussion on the approaching Pharmaceutical annual conference, generic pharmaceuticals, and applicant firms and specialists. He planned to create a treatment for epidemic diseases, which can spread rapidly and kill large numbers of people. Jatin's thoughts were preoccupied with the tiny firecracker's reaction, but he managed to bite his lip and nod his head respectfully to his father.

Before leaving, Mohini Aggarwal offered Jhanvi a gift, "Auntie promised to give you something official next time that will mark you as my daughter."

As a result of Mrs. Aggarwal's actions, Jhanvi felt embarrassed. They were both attempting to find out if there was a baby in there, but she knew the old lady was doing it with good intentions. Forcing a grin, she considered accepting it so she wouldn't have to take any further action, even if her thoughts were screaming about how she would accept everything Mrs. Aggarwal offered.

Although she found the hospitality to be trying, she finally agreed to accept it. After his parents left, Jhanvi, who had been feeling empty within, heaved a sigh of relief.

Unfortunately, a mother-in-law-like monster could be a major source of stress in any family. As far as she was concerned, she was irrelevant.
