"So, Loki mentioned he found out about Odin taking him from Jotunheim when he was a baby and you destroying the Rainbow Bridge before he could destroy Jotunheim. But I didn't get a chance to ask him what he meant when he said you tossed him into an abyss because honestly, I'm seriously questioning whether you two should ever be left alone. Because there was no attempts to throw anyone into an abyss when I was there." Althea says, looking over at Thor as they walk down the hall.
"After father banished me for starting war with Jotunheim," Thor starts.
"You what? Gods above, Thor." She says.
"They ruined my coronation and tried to steal the casket from the vault." He argues.
"Yes, because war is the natural progression from that." Althea responds dryly. "How did they even get into the vault?" She asks.
"I have no idea. Heimdall did not see them." Thor responds and Althea frowns slightly before pausing.
Loki.
"Okay, anyway, as you were saying." She says and he nods.
"Father fell into the Odinsleep. With me gone, Loki was left to reign Asgard." Thor says.
"Oh, I imagine that must have gone down marvellously with him unsupervised." Althea says.
"Well, Sif and the Warriors Three came to Earth to find me and Loki sent the Destroyer." Thor responds and she sighs, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"What is it with you two and overly drastic reactions to very tiny issues?" Althea asks incredulously. "I suppose I should be used to it but for some reason, I'm still slightly surprised." She shakes her head a little as she speaks.
"When I returned to Asgard, Loki and I fought on the Bridge. I had to stop him from destroying Jotunheim. So, I destroyed the bridge but he didn't back down." Thor says and she nods.
"Naturally." She remarks before sighing softly and Thor stops, turning to look at her which makes the redhead stop. "What?" She asks.
"Perhaps it would be easier to show you." Thor says and she frowns.
"Show me? You want me to watch your memory?" She asks and he nods.
"Just of what happened when I destroyed the Bridge." Thor responds, holding out his hand and Althea nods ushering him out of the way as she grabs his hand, closing her eyes as she focuses.
She opens her eyes when she hears a loud crashing noise to see past Thor slamming his hammer into the Bridge, Loki lying on the ground in front of them. "What are you doing? If you destroy the bridge, you'll never see her again!" Loki says.
"When I think back, I don't think he was actually talking about Jane when he said that. He didn't care. I think he was talking about you." Thor says and she nods a little as she watches Loki as he stands, moving towards Thor with Odin's spear.
Just as he reaches him, Thor slams his hammer into the Bridge one last time, the force of the blast sending them both flying backwards. Just as Thor catches the other end of the spear Loki was holding onto, Odin catches Thor's foot, saving them both from falling. And Thor watches as Althea walks over to them, standing near the edge of the broken bridge.
"I could have done it, Father! I could have done it!" Loki says. "For you! For all of us!"
"No, Loki." Odin responds.
"Loki, no." Thor says before Loki lets go of the sceptre and Althea glances up briefly as he shouts, "No".
She sighs slightly before she and Thor reappear on the Helicarrier. "Where did he go?" She asks, glancing back up at Thor.
"I have no idea. Nor do I know how he ended up here." Thor responds and she nods. "Perhaps he will tell you. You've always had a knack for getting Loki to talk about things no one else could." He says and she hums softly, hesitating briefly before looking up at Thor with a smile.
"If you go back and ask, I'm sure Coulson should be able to get you some information on Jane." Althea suggests and Thor nods.
"Would you like to come with me?" He asks.
"No, I'm okay. But thank you. I'll probably just go find Tony and Dr Banner. See if I was right." Althea responds and Thor nods squeezing the redhead's shoulder before walking back the way they'd come.

Althea sighs before making her way towards Loki's cell, Natasha pausing on her way in when she sees her. "I need to go in and talk to him. But you can go in after me." Natasha offers and Althea nods. "Just wait here. I shouldn't be long." She says and Althea leans against the wall beside the door.
She rests her head against the wall as she waits for Natasha, looking to the side when the door opens a little while later. "That husband of yours is a real piece of work." Natasha says to her.
"I'd like to say he's not normally like that, but I'm starting to wonder if he is and I just don't care." Althea says.
"For your sake, I hope not because he just called me a mewling quim." Natasha says and Althea tilts her head.
"No, yeah, that's definitely a new one. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that before." Althea says.
"Me neither. Go on. I'll call you if we need you." Natasha says and Althea nods as she walks down the hall away from her.
Althea sighs before walking into the room and Loki looks over at her as she walks in. "I was starting to think you weren't going to come." He says.
"I just had to talk to Thor first." Althea responds. "He answered some of the questions I still had. And he told me what happened on the bridge."
"Wonderful, so you've heard Thor's version." Loki remarks.
"Actually I've seen it. He let me watch his memory of what happened." She corrects and he pauses as she reaches the front of the cell. "He didn't toss you into the abyss, he caught you and you let go." Althea says.
"You weren't there." Loki argues.
"I kind of was." She retorts. "I was standing right at the edge of the bridge." She says.
"He destroyed the bridge, Ally." Loki says.
"What so it's my fault you decided to let go?" Althea asks incredulously.
"I didn't say that. But with the bridge gone, my only way down here would have been the passageways and I didn't know where I would end up or where you would be." Loki responds.
"You had twenty years to look for me but Thor destroying the bridge was the final straw?" She asks.
"I had a plan, Ally." Loki says.
"I have spent every day of the last twenty years trying to get home. Calling for Heimdall to open the Bifrost. When I didn't come back, why didn't you look for me?" Althea asks.
"I wanted to. You'd been gone three days when I tried to come and look for you. But Odin stopped me. He wouldn't let Heimdall open the Bifrost for me to come to Midgard. And like I said, I didn't know where the passageways would open to or where you would be." Loki says. "Why do you think I took over? It was the only way I could get down to you." He says and she sighs softly.
"So, you let the Frost Giants into Asgard? Into the vault?" She asks.
"How did you-"
"Oh, please. Thor told me they got in and Heimdall didn't see it. The only way that could have possibly happened is if you let them in through one of the secret passageways because Heimdall can't see that." Althea says.
"How do you see right through my every move?" Loki asks and she shrugs.
"Spend a couple centuries with someone and it gets easy. You can't do it with me?" She asks and he chuckles briefly. "Well, I think Odin being so against us being together makes sense now. I'm assuming that's why he sent me down here too." Althea says.
"More than likely, yes." Loki responds and she sighs softly. "Are you helping them? Because I can't fight you." He says.
"No, you can't. Because for one, you'd lose." Althea says.
"I would not." Loki argues and she tilts her head a little, pressing her lips together. "You would not beat me."
"I love that you think that but I absolutely would." Althea says.
"You haven't fought an Asgardian in twenty years." Loki argues.
"And I would still kick your ass." Althea says.
"Maybe we should fight so I can prove you wrong." Loki suggests.
"Do you really want me to embarrass you in front of everyone?" Althea asks, raising a brow briefly before an explosion rocks the Helicarrier and Althea grabs the railing beside her to steady herself, glancing over her shoulder before looking back at Loki.
"Ally," He starts.
"You were distracting me." She says.
"You were safer here." Loki says and she straightens up slightly before turning to walk towards the door. "Ally!" He calls after her.
