Panic sets in as I run through the forest, dodging branches wondering if I should look back to see if it's chasing me. What even was that thing that came off the ship?! I trip over a rock starting to get back up I hear the buzzing sound above my head as I continue to run just hoping it will leave me alone. Please go away please those words replayed in echo's head as she sprinted through the woods. If only I could find a place to hide just till it gives up she's thinks to herself. Then she remembers the old cave by the stream not far from where she is now. She turns and runs for it thorns and branches scratching her skin, but all she cared for was the safety in that cave to get away from whatever was following her. She jumps over the stream and runs into the gave. Panting she collapses in the ground. She stays there for what seems like hours,praying hoping it's gone. Finally getting the courage to leave she walks out to a clearing by the stream breathing a sigh of relief. Then a bright light surrounds her pulling her from the ground.

I used to think that these things were just tall tails to scare me, but I found out it's destiny. I'm echo and this is my my abdication story.
