Kelila Pike was the typical young girl, always running around with daisy crowns perched on her forehead. Her dad used to laugh and call her a little princess, telling her someday she'd be a queen.

As Kelila grew older, she started to see his words were just little fancies for a six year old, and dismissed his words.

However, when she's nineteen, she gets lost in a thunderstorm and gets a lift from three storm chasers who accidentally run over the God of thunder, Thor.

Kelila starts to talk to Thor, making friends with him and starting to learn a little more about his home country, Asgard, until one day she gets a phone call from her dad. He explains that he's a Seer, descended from the great Cassandra of Troy. Kelila is torn between disbelief and acceptance- after all, gods and mythical realms are real, so why shouldn't Seers be? Her dad tells her that it's her destiny to marry Thor and become a queen, and soon enough her powers will wake and she'll save the lives of many.
