(Your PoV)

I'm always her shadow. Always being told, "Oh you're that girl that's always with Sakura!" I'm always 2nd best according to the whole school. Sakura always comes out number 1 in everything. I'm just glad she doesn't like my crush, who is also very popular, Sasuke Uchiha. If she would start to like him, it would be over for me. Of course, because she always gets what she wants.

I sat in my seat beside Sakura in the lunch room, with the other popular kids. They were talking about something I didn't really care to know. I was staring at what was at the other table, talking to his friends.

Sasuke was never really the social type of guy, but his looks surely got him to the top of the popularity chain quickly. He absolutely hated to talk to people and rejected every single confession he got. Apparently he was 'waiting' for someone else. Yeah. Sakura probably. I was in a daze, thinking about Sasuke, when Sakura spoke up.

"So lately I've been taking a liking to a new guy in our school!" Ino gasped and leaned into Sakura. "No way who?!" Sakura smiled triumphantly and said a little too loudly,

"Sasuke Uchiha!" My eyes widened and I could feel my tears make their way to the rim of my (E/C) eyes. I looked down and covered my eyes with my bangs so no one could see me. I was done for now. I knew it. Cheers were suddenly the only thing you could hear in the cafeteria. I heard Naruto, who was siting with us, yell.

"Yo Sasuke! The hottest girl in the school likes you! What do you have to say about that!" Sasuke glared us and said,

"First of all, she's not the hottest girl in the school, not even close. Second, she's the last person on the god damn earth I would like so might as well stop your stupid little crush Sakura because I like someone else." Everyone gasped as Sakura burst into tears and ran out. I looked up to see Sasuke staring right at me. I blushed and decided that if I didn't go after Sakura, she would be angry with me.

I found her crying in the bathroom. Make-up everywhere, hair stuck out in places that clearly didn't belong. I chuckled a little and got a tissue, wipping the running makeup off her face. She looked up and cried more, this time hugging me like there was no tomorrow.

"(Y/N)!! Why doesn't he like me?! I'm perfect!!" I sighed and looked at her,

"Well gotta get rid of that girl that he likes I guess." She gasped.

"Your right! Maybe we can watch him and see who he looks at the most!!" I nodded as we walked back into the cafeteria. Sakura was flooded with are you okay's and there are a lot of fish in the sea's. I couldn't help but look over at Sasuke who was once again staring at me. I knitted my brows in confusion as he quickly turned away. I then noticed everyone was silent. Sakura was staring at me in utter disgust and betrayal. I asked,

"What's wrong?"

"O-oh! Nothing. I just remembered..um..I need to talk to you about something later..come to the back of the school after school is over okay?" I nodded and took a small glance over at Sasuke, who was glaring at Sakura. I sighed because I had no idea what was going on whatsoever.

(Time skip to after school)

I made my way to the back of the school, continuously looking around for Sakura. I heard footsteps approach from behind me and was about to turn around when something soft but hard at the same time pushed me to the ground. There was Sakura standing above me with her arms crossed, Ino and Karin at her back. Sakura placed her foot on my chest and started,

"It's you isn't it, (Y/N)?" I gasped as she slammed her foot down onto my stomach. Oh the pain was unbearable. I coughed and shook my head.

"There's no way! I-it couldn't be me!" She smirked and bent down closer to me.

"You said it yourself, first step to getting Sasuke's attention was getting rid of the girl he likes! So here we are!" Karin came from behind her and pulled me up, then slapped me really hard, sending me strait back down to the hard cold ground.

Ino and Karin continuously punched and kicked me, as Sakura laughed like the bitch that she was. I was nearly unconscious when Sakura said,

"Wait! Let me do the last blow." She slowly walked over to me and raised her leg, ready to kick me in the head. Suddenly, someone pulled her raised leg, resulting in her falling on the ground. She screamed,

"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THIN-.....S-Sasuke.." He stood there with the most terrifying look on his face. He turned to Ino and Karin, glaring at them. They immediately ran away, making Sakura scream,

"YOU TRAITORS!!" Sasuke scoffed,

"Who's the traitor?" Sakura looked up at him.

"I don't understand you! Why don't you like me?! And even further more why do you like that ugly bitch over there!?!" I was unconscious by then. He got close to her and whispered,

"Why do I like her? She's better, prettier, smarter, kinder, and everything I could think of then you. You've always pushed her around. Made her feel so small. Guess what? That's going to change. Now you listen and you listen well. If you ever..think about hurting (Y/N) again..I'll wipe you off the fucking map. You can imagine what that means. We'll be going now." He said as he picked me up and started walking.

(Another time skip to your awakening)

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. It was a fairly large room, black and blue themed with lots of guy things in it. I tried to get up but failed when pain from about everywhere shot through my body. I screamed in pain and just when I did that someone walked through the door. My heart raced and butterflies fluttered in my stomach once I seen the culprit. Sasuke walked in with a medical kit and a towel draped over his shoulder. I noticed the only thing he was wearing was a pair of sweatpants and a black tank top and damn did he look good in them. He came over to them bed and said,

"Don't try to get up. It'll only make the pain worse." I sighed and sunk deeper into the covers.

"What happened?" Sasuke turned towards me and softly sat on the bed, looking at me.

"Well..Sakura and her stupid friends beat you up, then I came and put Sakura in her place, and then I brought you back to my place and here we are." I looked at him confused,

"Why did you..Sakura thought that you liked me..of course that would be impossi-" "I do." I gasped slightly and looked up at him. He had a small smile on his face. He turned and got the medical kit.

"Take off your shirt." I hesitated and looked at him worriedly.

"(Y/N) I would never do anything you didn't want me to do." I blushed and in a quiet voice said,

"Then if I asked you to kiss me..would you?" He sighed and flicked my forehead.

"Idiot you're injured." He lifted my shirt off my head, making me blush instantly. I forgot the only bra I had left was a lacey black bra. Sasuke's eyes skimmed over my chest before getting the disinfectant and putting it on my cuts.

After a very painful half hour, all my wounds were tended to and Sasuke had gotten me one of his shirts to wear and sweatpants. I giggled a little bit as I looked in the mirror in the bathroom. Here I was, in the guy I loved's house, wearing his clothes. I smelled the shirt, which smelled like Sasuke. I had such a good feeling in my heart. I walked out of his room and walked into the living room.

"Is there nobody else home?" He came out of the kitchen with two mugs with hot chocolate in them.

"I live alone." I made an 'o' with my mouth and sat down beside him. Taking the mug from his hands. I giggled cutely and sipped on the warm drink. Sasuke was staring at me, watching my every move. I put my drink back down on the coffee table and said,

"You know, I've always noticed you staring at me Sasuke what's up with that?" He chuckled and said,

"Oh shut up." He then grabbed me and pulled me on him so I was straddling him. I blushed and tried to get off.

"Sasuke w-what..?" He smiled and pulled me down so our noses were touching.

"Ask me again." I thought back, suddenly remembering what he was talking about. I blushed and said in a quiet voice.

"W-will you please kiss me? O-only if you want to..or if I you like me.." He smiled and said,

"How about both." He then put a hand on the back of my neck and brought me in for a passionate kiss. All of our feelings for eachother were put into that kiss. It felt so right. So well deserved. I pulled away and laid my body down on Sasuke's still sitting up one, allowing my head to go into the crook of his neck. I said in a muffled voice against his neck,

"Sasuke I really love you." He instantly wrapped his arms around me and said,

"(Y/N) I really love you too and I promise that no one will ever hurt you again." I nodded and then fell asleep, knowing that I was no longer going to be second best to anyone. Only first best to the only person who really mattered to me.
