Volleyballs smacked across the court as Kurasano's volleyball team practiced. Totally oblivious to the world around them, they spiked and they blocked, with only the dreams and goals they had set into their minds.

Hinata Shoyo was an interesting individual. He was corky, excited, and overall hyper. But he was a damn good volleyball player. Everyone in Kurasano knew, everyone.

You had your doubts about the team at first. There was no way they could have this much publicity throughout the school. So, you decided to check them out yourself.

You slipped in through the door and sat on the far corner of the bleachers, before you pointed your full attention to the team.

They did practical stuff, jumping, spiking, tossing, they all took turns doing things. Then, they played a practice game. Half the team on one side, half the team on the other.

An orange headed boy screamed in joy as the coach made the announcement of the game. A raven haired boy who had a mad look on his face mumbled in anger as he walked beside the orange headed kid to the same side.

You leaned your elbows on your thighs and watched lazily as the game started.

Not knowing how tired you had gotten, you had started to doze off.

Your head occasionally fell resulting in you snapping it back up, but you were soon in for a wake up call.

"Hinata! Am I over there?! I can't hit that!"

"I'm sorry!! Oh! There's a person over there! Look out!!!!!" Distant shouting was heard as a spiraling sound came closer to you. You brushed it off at first but soon regretted it afterwards.

BOOM

The volleyball made a cringeworthy sound against your head as the force pushed you off the bleacher and onto the ground.

"Urg.." You mumbled as you held your head, trying to get the horrible pain to subdue.

"I'm so sorry!! Is your head okay?!" The orange boy from earlier suddenly called out as he appeared before you. His face was a mix of worry, regret, and fear. You nodded and winced as you tried to get up. The orange headed boy helped you to the best of his ability and was able to help you sit on the bleacher you were once on.

"I'm so sorry! My name's Hinata Shoyo, what's yours?!" You furrowed your eyebrows at how loud he was and said quietly in response,

"(L/N)...(F/N).." Hinata smiled and then pouted.

"I'm really sorry (Y/N)-chan...can I help you to the nurse's office?" He held out his hand in a gentle way.

You looked up and stared into his innocent eyes before letting out a quiet giggle.

"Sure you can sunshine."

"S-sunshine?!"

"Mm yeah, you remind me of sunshine. So bright, probably annoying in the mornings, and can make you feel warm when you're near it." Hinata smiled brightly with a slight blush on his face before he helped you up to go to the nurse's office.

And thus, started a beautiful friendship.
